Gattuso's Neighborhood Restaurant, Bar & Catering

My experience was generally positive. Service was attentive and friendly, and food was served fairly efficiently, although I anticipated my side salad would arrive before the main dish. From the Saturday brunch menu, I chose the basic breakfast sandwich, which was underwhelming. Curiously, the egg was fried and then chopped up. On the other hand, the shrimp wrap was enjoyable, featuring fresh shrimp. While Gretna isn't a regular destination for me, I would consider returning, but I'd opt against the brunch menu.

Came here after work with my coworkers. Loved the outdoor patio seating. Very cute and aesthetic. Service was great, the food came pretty fast. I had the Grilled salmon with vegetables and sweet potato fries . It was delicious. Also as an appetizer I had the Santa Fe chicken rolls. Loved them with the sauce. Enjoyed the vibe, food and service. Will be back .

Came here for lunch after the farmers market, just an easy walk away.I got the smoked turkey sandwich with fries. Fries were great! In between steak and shoe string size, crunchy and seasoned perfectly. Sandwich came on an onion bun and was delicious as well. Servers were attentive and made sure I was taken care of.

The lunch hamburgers on Thursday's are fantastic. The price is only $5.99 and they are served with fries. The staff is very friendly and the service is great.

Very incredibly nice establishment Totally worth the drive Very happy Very pleased My father has congestive heart failure stage ll and his doctor said NO SALT Well let me tell you Gabriella was extremely accommodating We chose the salmon grilled so no salt with baked potato with chives and 15ml of salt sour cream and no salt vegetables All of this is completely acceptable and within my father's dietary needsGabriella even gave me the opportunity to speak with the chef and he said it would be grilled so no worries about the salt I also had called and spoke with the manager Ray two days ahead of time and he help me to choose things off of the menu so I was prepared when I came in with my dad and family I am so very happy to be able to take my dad out to lunch with his family. I have never come across a restaurant that was WILLING TO WORK WITH ME Most of the times I was dismissed. The other places didn't want the challenge nor were they willing to put forth the effort For a change I was able to relax and enjoy my meal. A rarity for me as the caretaker The watermelon margarita was great along with my roast beef poboy They did not skimp on the flavor no the tequila and the roast beef was overloadedWhat a very nice place to come to and know that you are going to be taken care of I highly recommend this place and I give my seal of approval

Went for happy hour and ended up ordering meals too. Everything we had was amazing. Fish bites, crawfish queso and brussel sprouts all half off for happy hour. Amazing! Had the triple decker club so good! Little disappointed I had to pay $3 to sun a dude salad instead of fries but it was a good side salad. Will be back!

Listen!!!!!!! I have never been to a place where every morsel you place in your mouth is PHENOMENAL!!! We went there to just have a small bite! We ended up trying just about all of the appetizers, rum punch and a CLUB SANDWICH!!!!! Let me start with the real starter... THE SERVICE.... We had an AMAZING server... KAMRYN.... This young lady was one of the BEST servers I have ever experienced... KAMRYN was so pleasant, she kept smiling, answered all of my questions, made suggestions and had small conversations which made me boil over with JOY!!! We tried the mozz sticks, fish bites and OH SHUCKS THE BRUSSEL SPROUTS..... CHEFS KISS!!! With every bite I closed my eyes and experienced something out of body!!! My, my, my!!! If I had to write about each one of them it would literally be a dissertation! But let's get into this Club Sandwich... Lord help me while I write... this sandwich reminds me of my dads sandwiches he used to make but the fries just makes it top notch! Listen this was so amazing that I had to tip All of the cooks because I know which one so they all got a little treat!! I have never in my life tipped a cook but I did yesterday... I requested the manager Chris because the revolution had to be televised and even he was dope!! Listen... listen, listen!!!! This place is a hidden GEM in Gretna... Don't sleep on the westbank honey!!!! They are living their best lives in Gretna!!! It was so good... I'm going back today which is the next day!!! And just a FYI HAPPY HOUR IS ALL DAY ON T-U-E-S-D-A-Y!!!! Let that sink in!!Happy hour RUM PUNCH is a must try and it is only $5!!!! 4-7.... Stop reading... put your shoes on and GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! We came here on a Saturday and it was our first time here. I kept seeing really yummy food pics and couldn't help myself but to make a trip out here. We sat at the bar because they were super short staffed and since it was a 3 of us, it did not matter if we sat at a table. They have plenty of seating inside and there is a cute outdoor area with fake grass - I think - with tables and chairs all set up. We sat at the bar and it was about 10 minutes before happy hours, which I think was at 3pm. We asked the bartender is we could order drinks and wait until happy hour to order the apps and drinks. She was more than happy to do that and even giggled at us. We ordered the rum punch. It was labeled at $6 but when we got our bill later, she charged $9. It was a little irritating but I didn't mention it because he had such a fun time. The rum punch was goooood. It wasn't as strong as I hoped, we had maybe 3, but it was so frutiy and good. Next we ordered the fried fish for apps. My god! I will come back for those fish. They were fried in a light batter, it was flour, not tempura but so very light and airy. I wanted like 10 of those apps. Then I ordered the shrimp poboy, which again, super light and flaky. Overall that fish was the best and should never be changed. The nice bartender offered to split our checks too which never happens. I was very happy, satisficed and full when we left. We gotta go get those fish again!

Food was just ok. Plus my cocktail was this lemonade vodka drink which had no vodka in it. Terrible for my birthday. Our waitress was just ok,nothing to be impressed with.

Extremely dissatisfied. Never paid 9 bucks for an Abita beer before. Food was mediocre and overpriced just like the beer. Urine all over the bathroom floor. Keep looking.
