Everything and everyone was great. The bbq buffet was great, the brisket was moist and juicy. It was a bbq buffets dream come true, and the price was very affordable

The restaurant itself if nice, clean. Good atmosphere. The service is VERY friendly. I've had a few different items. First, the steak is fair enough. Nothing special. The pork belly and rib tidbits are good appetizers. My main problem with this place is the ribs and pulled pork. The pulled pork is VERY bland and dry. Same can be said about the ribs. The ribs had very little flavor and didn't appear to have much seasoning. The ribs and pulled pork were extremely dull and disappointing. It's a shame when the baked beans are the highlight of the plate. I'm actually surprised that ribs and pulled pork would be prepared this way. It isn't good when you have to drown the meats in BBQ Saice for them to have flavor. I've only tried them once but I wouldn't recommend the pork or ribs. Based on this, I'll probably avoid the brisket here as well. I do recommend this place overall. Given that I've only tried these menu items once, I can't say anything other than this restaurant is well enough for you to try it out for yourself.

Love love LOVE the pork belly burnt ends! Would like to see more "smaller plate" options on BBQ items like TriTip or pulled pork but everything I've eaten here is lovely and it's a MUST-STOP any time I'm in the area!

We stopped in for a cocktail and also got the "Notcho's." What an AMAZING little hidden gem. They have an outside patio area and an inside option. The food was absolutely amazing (sad and I didn't get a picture) and just look at the cocktail! We will be back.

Been there a couple times and the service is great. My go to is the 4B burger and it's awesome. The staff in friendly and welcoming and patient. My only complaint is the one time I got the brisket and it was cold and lacked smoked flavor. Also I ordered green beans on a takeout order and the portion is small considering it's $4 for a side.

Racist! I ordered online and paid online! But my receipt wasn't good enough to retrieve my order! After showing my receipt, was told I need to show my drivers license, i could not get my food! I never heard of that before. And they don't have that listed anywhere online. And when I tried to talk to the owner about his policies he got irate really fast started screaming calling me boy, threatning me with police and telling me to get the eff out his establishment! SI I never got my food or my money back! I had to go to the parish to report the owner and found out that he had a bunch of complaints and a bad reputation in town. That's why this place is never packed! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Spend your money where they appreciate your business!

Today I dined in at the bar at Gaston's and had a terrific experience. I arrived around 2:30pm. My server/ bartender Beth was really sweet and service was great, friendly fast but never rushing us. My smoked filet was delivered from chef Jeddy and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back for the amazing service and great food!

Still great food great service. Have eaten just about everything on the menu. Have not been disappointed.

This was a great choice for Mardi Gras when most other places were closed. Fine Southern BBQ with everything you could ask for from brisket to barbecue beans and Andouille Macque Choux. The service was bright and cheerful with comfortable surroundings. Prices were reasonable and the portions generous. I had and thoroughly enjoyed my meal featuring two different kinds of smoked sausage. Will return next time I am in the area.

Hidden gem in D'ville! Great food! Great atmosphere! Will be back to try more menu items!UPDATE: Visited again (twice in one week). Met the owners...Great people! Had the Smokehouse Not Cheauxs made with their house potato chips...OMG!
