Great Louisiana style seafood with a nice view of Lake Ponchatrain. I had the etoufffe while my colleague had a crawfish po'boy. Both delicious.Staff was super friendly and the vibe was very relaxed. Enjoyable experience all around.

Had some time off from work to have a PROPER lunch so I looked this place up and gave them a shot. Coming from the main road traveling down the side road to get to the restaurant is a beautiful sight! I love the location over the water! Once I got in there was no waiter present, so I seated myself. There were only 3 active tables with guest with ONE waiter. After 15 mins she came and got my order and brought me some water.Well once I got my food 30 mins later, my appetizer was cold, complete cold! I only have maybe an half hour before I get back to work so I just kept the dish. The batter on the tomatoes were very bland! Like it didn't taste like anything. The shrimp were very dry as well.Once I got my grilled shrimp plate, I thought I was in for a treat but .... I was wrong! The plate was extremely hot so I'm preeeeettttyy sure they nuked the dish before bringing it to me because my food was like warm. The BEST thing I had out of my 2 dishes were the Hushpuppies, if they would season their batter like the hushpuppies this place would be jumping!!!!As always let's take the time and apply some more love in the kitten crew.Happy Yelping.

Found this place on a Yelp search. Waiting for my hotel room to be ready needed to get some food. Perk it was on the lake and it was a nice day out. Seated on the patio to finish up some work. Waitress was great and very friendly. Ordered the Cajun kickers as my appetizer. They came out hot and tasted so good. I could have eaten another order and been happy. Ordered the shrimp po boy with onion rings. There was so much shrimp on the sandwich it was almost (I ate it ) hard to eat. I needed a little more mayo and lettuce but it was good and the shrimp had good flavor. The breading was thick but not greasy. For my white person palette, a bit too much salt, but again that is just my taste. I would recommend going, they have a lot of options on the menu I would have liked to try.

So we had a swamp tour at 2:15. We needed food first. We came to Frenier Landing at about 1:30. First off all, beautiful location, right at the edge of the lake! There is some outdoor seating, and great views if you happen to get a seat by the window. We were seated and our order taken in about 5 min. For Louisiana, our food came out, relatively quickly, at around 1:50. We also asked for the bill immediately, just so we could make a fast exit when finished. The food itself was great! I got the oyster po boy, all dressed, and it was well fried. My mother got the grilled chicken sandwich, and noted that the fresh pepper was delicious and the chicken was well cooked. My father got the crab cake sandwich and also loved it, particularly the sauce added to it. Definitely a nice place to stop if you're not in a hurry! And we did make it to the swamp tour in time.

This place was recommended from the captain of our swamp tour. It is a beautiful location with a wonderful view. The food wasn't bad either! We ordered oysters, fried calamari, burger, crab dip and bbq shrimp. Everything was delicious except for the crab dip. Which tasted microwaved :( But I would highly recommend to come check it out even if it's just for the view!

The water is well water, so everything taste like rubber (water, tea, sodas). The food was decent, but anything special. The staff was friendly, and the view is amazing.

Love coming here when I'm passing through ! This place is always reliable to have consistent good food and great service! This place has become an exciting stop for us and we always enjoy our food and time here !

Disappointing. Reminiscent of a rustic Louisiana camp with a nice view over Lake Pontchartrain. The food was completely underwhelming. No seasoning or taste whatsoever. A poor representation of Louisiana cuisine. It tasted like it was cooked by a yankee.

The food was excellent and we were a group of 22 people and they were able to serve and accommodate in a fast manner.

Food, service & Ambience were great! I like remaloude sauce on my shrimp poboy & they added it. The poboy bread was great!
