Wow. I've heard all the rumors and all the good gossip about this place. I finally got a chance to try it. It definitely did not disappoint. From the quaint country feel to the decor, the atmosphere puts you in a good mood to share a meal with people you love. It's Cracker Barrel on steroids !!! I love it !!! Lots of wood walls and down south charm. The staff was fast and courteous. The coffee was hot and the traditional breakfast platter was amazing. I came during December, it had a feel to it that gave me that internal soul warmth, that Christmas. There were Christmas songs on the radio and there was even a small group doing a Bible study at the table next to me. I absolutely loved seeing that. To God be the glory !!! The food was more than enough of a portion for me. The waitress had recommended that I get the biscuits toasted. I really enjoyed them that way with butter and jelly. She kept the coffee cup full and was very helpful. There is a good bit to I see and purchase in the lossy as well. Also a coffee station. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it. I will be adding this place into my rotation of places to eat in this area.

One word...BISCUITS! We hit up Franks for brunch, and let me tell you, those biscuits stole the show. But first, we kicked things off with the Cajun boudin balls--mouthwatering doesn't even begin to describe them. Every bite just got better and better.I went with the traditional breakfast featuring spicy sausage and, of course, a biscuit. My boyfriend had the biscuit sandwich, and his mom opted for the blueberry pancakes. But honestly, the real star of the meal was those biscuits--hot, buttery, with just the right amount of flakiness. Pure perfection. And the service? Classic southern hospitality at its finest. We'll definitely be back!

Early morning breakfast before my wife and kids woke up. I was impressed they were open so early, but didn't expect much at five in the morning. I couldn't have been more wrong. Walked in to a well lit dining area and was told I could sit where I wanted. Perfect because I hate being sat too close to other diners. Not that there were many there, two large groups of local men enjoying coffee and the latest gossip. Nice atmosphere, I could see myself being one of those guys when I hit the twilight years. A waitress approached with a menu and water in hand, asking what did like to drink after a cheerful "good morning!" A young blonde with a pleasant persona and a welcoming vibe about her. I ordered coffee and she said she'd be back in a few minutes. When she made her way back to my table I was ready to order but I had trouble pronouncing "atchafalya". She caught on to that (or my accent tipped her off ) and she asked "You're not from around here, are ya?" I chuckled a little and she went to give my ticket to the cooks. Wasn't long before my food was sitting right in front of me and damn did it smell and look amazing. Two of the uniquely Cajun Benedicts with a large chunk of alligator sausage on each side. I dug in.Thick fluffy biscuits sat atop crispy and perfectly tart fried green tomatoes which in turn were adorned with two perfectly poached eggs smothered in a homemade creole sauce filled the plate. I didn't know what to expect other than the unexpected. My gut instinct proved to be right as I took my first bite of this swamp born delicacy. Finished it quicker than it took to get to me. And the sausage? Cooked to perfection with an expertly browned outside and a hot, juicy, tender center. The best breakfast I had while visiting the Bayou State. Would definitely revisit if I'm ever in the area; might even drive out of my way to do so.

Asked the waitress to recommend me something that you can only find in Louisiana and I was not let down. I had something called the atchafalaya with alligator sausage and it was definitely worth the try.

I love coming here for breakfast/brunch !! They're usually always busy during the weekend but highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already! Food is delicious, coffee is strong, environment is busy but good. They have a little store up front which is super cute too look at while you're waiting to be seated (or before you leave) Once you finish you pay up front at the store although my waitress did offer to process our check for us so that we did not have to check out at the front register which I, for whatever reason, hate doing. So thank you to our waitress for just checking us out! I'm sorry I didn't get your name but you were wonderful! This place is already a delightful, delicious time !

Franks is a staple in Prairieville. A variety of deliciously cooked meals. Breakfast all day is great for those of us that may crave a seafood omelette for dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The laid back atmosphere lends itself to the Louisiana experience.
