Faye's Subs & Salads

I met a friend here for lunch recently. It was my first venture into a downtown Baton Rouge eatery post "Stay-at-Home pandemic." We were happy that they were allowing people to eat inside. There was appropriate social distancing, etc., but they were very busy.Staff was friendly, as always, and seemed very happy to be back in business. I got a grilled chicken sandwich. Their ingredients are fresh and their variety is second to none for a sandwich shop. My sandwich was delicious and filling. I'd absolutely get it again.If you are downtown, and you are looking for something quick, or if you are looking to dine in. Their prices are reasonable, and the food is great. Check them out!

As a self proclaimed chicken salad sandwich expert I have to give the sandwich 3. It's not bad, but could use some work. More egg than chicken. Service was nice and restaurant was generally clean.

Fast service and great subs. A downtown staple. I got the turkey po boy and my wife got the club. Bread was fresh and the ingredients were tasty.

This is a very good place to grab a bite. The people are so nice and the food was great! We sat outside with our dog and enjoyed a mild Saturday morning. We ordered a Super Sub and a Chef Salad. They were really good! Check it out!

After my failed attempt to have lunch at La Salvadoreña, I went over to Café Mimi and they didn't have spring rolls, so walked out and went to the vintage and I missed the shrimp and grits. The lines of lunchers going out the door at Fays said "eat me". Their subs and wraps are fantastic, well priced and they are fast. Skip subways! I'm not starving anymore! Stuffed my face with roast beef on wheat. I am no longer hangry!

Faye's Subs & Salads is well known to the Downtown lunch crowd. It is a locally run sandwich, salad, and wrap shop that is a nice alternative to the franchise places. They have a variety of subs that you can customize with your favorite add-ons. You can get these with chips and a drink, but those in the know will tell you to get the homestyle potato salad instead if there is any left (it sells out sometimes). They have baked chips as well if you would like to eat a bit healthier. I also like the wraps, these have three flavors of tortillas to choose from. I think the Spicy Turkey on wheat is a particularly good choice! The salads are popular too, and everything is reasonably priced. Of course you can get these items to go, but there is plenty of seating in an area decorated with local artwork. So, forget the franchise places, and come by Faye's to fulfill your sandwich needs.

We came here after the heart walk with our boys and the sandwiches were great! One son got the spicy turkey with American cheese on a wrap warm and it was killer. We got the super club (one with veggies and one without), both warm, and they were so great. We will definitely be coming back!

The ladies at Faye's are delightful and the sandwiches are fantastic. I ordered a roast beef wrap and it was delicious and perfectly wrapped for eating on the go. Great local business.

Delicious food, fantastic customer service! A must try! Ambiance is quaint and cozy definitely will be eating in the restaurant again soon
