ZERO STARS - if they would allow!New owner/partner has changed what used to be a great place to eat in Broussard. Great atmosphere and wonderful service.It's the menu changes that are destroying it!My family used to eat here almost twice a week. The catfish are not filets anymore!! They are catfish strips that aren't even as wide as two fingers. And actual catfish in it, nope! It's mostly over fried batter! Nasty! The Spicy shrimp wrap used to actually be spicy! It's got no spice now and so much pepper jelly it makes the wrap soggy and falls apart. The onion wrings are an over fried ring toss sized embarrassment! I'm just so disappointed because I live so close and loved this place! Don't bother reaching out to them through their website, I did and no response! I don't like putting this on Google and saying all this, but whoever is in charge, you have forced me!That catfish is an embarrassment to Acadiana food!

Service was kinda sucky. The waitress wasn't welcoming at all. She didn't seem like she wanted to be there and we really felt like they should have just sat us in someone else's section. The food was hot and fresh. And the Yengling was iced cold:

Well it's a pretty good spot s Bar first thing is their motto " Never Trust A Skinny Cook". Yeah we bought a T-Shirt. Frosty cold beer literally ice in my mug. We had the ultimate Nachos & chicken wings very good. Service was great multiple tvs great place to have lunch or watch a game. Oh did say cold beer.

I'd like to say I had high hopes when I googled Fat Pat's - seemed like a typical place but we had a gift card, so we went.Queso and chips - great chips, excellent Queso - ground beef and Rotel tomatoes in a nice cheese. I don't care what the my people got - I got an off the menu fried chicken sandwich.When it arrived the chicken was hanging off the bun. It looked beautiful. So crispy. If people got in fights over Popeye's - this would be straight murder chicken sandwich. If it was me, I'd add this to the secret menu and call the sandwich "Fight Club Chicken"- we don't talk about it, but if you do - there's going to be hands thrown. Service was great. The others liked whatever they got. No one cares, Fight Club Chicken Sandwich is all you need to know. * Send me royalties on the name and sales. I didn't take a picture because you need to order this to see what it looks like.

Such a welcome addition to the area! I find myself recommending Fat Pat's often, especially this location just based on the patio, but there are many reasons to visit. It's local and supporting local is my thing, it's fun and lively and I personally cannot wait to catch a game here, the pick up process is fool proof and efficient and the burgers will knock your socks off guys. If bold is a taste description you're not afraid of, get a burger here. Any burger will do but the Mile High, the Bae and the Queso are all stellar. The chef here isn't afraid to use spices and that is a definite win! Spicy, bold, unique and always delicious, the burgers here are all stars. Allons, y'all!

I've been to a few fat pat pat location's in Lafayette before, but never the one in Broussard. The food here was the best one out of all the other fat pats I been too! I had the three little piggy burger with roasted corn, Spicy fried chicken tender sandwich with sweet potato fries, and garlic parmesan/lemon pepper wings. I would definitely come here to get the delicious wings again and try different items on the menu!

Place is very good despite being 4 stars. For beginners the location from this app was wrong, but you can see it while driving so I just turned my GPS off. 2 for 1 beer when I came on Saturday night. The fries were awesome but the pulled pork on them not so much...I got the fat pat burger and it was amazing. Jalapeños, onions, pat sauce..so good, along with the onion rings! My friend had the traditional wings and they were huge. They don't have a wet Buffalo sauce which was a turn off for me, but she said the sauce they recommend as Buffalo was very close and delicious. $66 for an appetizer and 3 beer (2 for 1), mixed drink, and 2 meals.

A response would be nice. We dont go out much so when we do I would like to know there was some thought put into a $100 meal. Ive had better at fast food.

Every dang time I eat here I get sick.. I love the atmosphere but the food needs a lot of help. I ordered the pulled pork nachos and got food poisoning.. I should've followed my gut when the shredded cheese was brought out hard as nails. I should've taken a picture. The pork was dry, it was just awful. It looked like it sat out for a while. We did order the cheese curds as an appetizer, so maybe our main courses were prepared at the same time and then just sat out until we finished the curds.
