Evolve Coffee + Matcha

I love local shops and eateries. My daughter heard about this place from some college friends. Welcoming staff! Great location in a nice neighborhood. Atmosphere very cozy. Visited with my daughter and teenage nieces. We all loved it! Drinks and pastries were top notch. Cinnamon rolls-muffins-hot chocolate-matcha - all delicious.I'll definitely put this location in my rotation.

Stopped in for a matcha and cold brew. Didn't disappoint, added a fresh chocolate chip cookie. Wouldn't get the cookie again but the drinks were good.Matcha is whisked with the appropriate brush and well steeped.

This is such a cute coffee shop with a pleasant staff. They have ceremonial matcha here. I thought I didn't like matcha but I decided to try their ceremonial matcha and I guess I've just been having terrible quality matcha before this because now I can't get enough.

Having this new location of Evolve so close by might be dangerous for my wallet! However, it's super exciting because it's such a great place to be able to do work and it's a dedicated cafe to Matcha :) . Their hours are also super great (open early in the morning till the evening) and it's located in a pretty calm, safe neighborhood of Lakeview and parking wasn't an issue. I've always wanted to visit the original Metairie location, but haven't had the chance to, but I was excited to see that this new location opened up which is super close to me. I had the Iced White Chocolate Matcha and it was great. Additionally, I had a cinnamon roll which I really enjoyed. They also have seasonal Christmas flavors and I can't wait to make this a regular place to do work and explore all of the different Matcha teas on their menu. The vibes here are classy casual and there's also a ton of space to be able to do work.

I'm so glad Evolve recently opened a location in Lakeview (in addition to their Metairie location)!The Iced Evolution is so good -- such a good blend of matcha and espresso, which I wouldn't think would work, but it does. The space is huge; tons of tables for studying or working. They also have a lot of rotating specials with a few food options!

I've visited this café a few times, mainly to grab a matcha, and I have to say, the White Chocolate Matcha is my favorite! I haven't really explored their coffee options, though I did try the half matcha, half coffee drink once, and it wasn't the best. This location is notably more spacious compared to their Metairie spot, which is nice if you're looking for a place to sit and relax. The staff here are always friendly, making the experience pleasant. My only complaint? The tables--they're definitely due for an upgrade.

Good coffee drinks, great location but the WiFi is sketchy and parking is sometimes a challenge. If you come here, make sure it's to meet someone or read a book and you don't have to get anything done using the internet. Good service and ambience.

Interior was beautiful and customer service was good. The only and biggest complaint I have is that whoever made my drink did a very poor job. You cannot taste the matcha, the oat milk, the coffee, or really anything at all. It was like drinking water. I still want to give this place another chance though. :(

They have great matcha here! I would come here every day if I could. I really like their iced matcha latte. The service is friendly. They do allow dogs all over the shop, though, so it's not great if you have allergies.
