East of Italy

Came here for lunch and it was unexpectedly good!It's in a strip mall and this probably would have normally deterred me but my coworker loves this place. We got the Mediterranean hummus and shrimp skewers for apps and both were delicious. The hummus was much better than average. Pita was cooked perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I got the small pizza, half Italian sausage and mushrooms and other half supreme. Both were really good! You can taste that it's very fresh ingredients and they have a very good cook. Two people got the salmon and both said that it was really good. We had two servers, one was in training, both were super sweet girls. The restaurant was very clean and kept up. Overall, a great place and I will definitely be back! Also, they had amazing lunch specials! $12 for chick parm and many many more.

THIS IS THE WORST RESTAURANT IVE EVER BEEN TO. THE SERVICE... was frozen. The Pizza was burnt, I asked for ketchup and they charged me $670 for a pizza! worst restaurant ever. Didn't get the waitress name, but it shouldn't matter. NEVER COME HERE! COLD SERVICE!

Went to lunch with coworkers. Decent crowd with a nice casual atmosphere. I ordered the soup, salad, sandwich combo. Tomato basil soup was excellent. Chicken parm sandwich was a little dry to my liking. Other than that, my food is always good, and all good experiences here.

I placed the order online in hopes to have the order ready when I arrived ....( of course!). On arrival, it appeared to be at the start of their lunch hour. The restaurant wasn't packed. The order wasn't ready and I had to wait. I payed almost $4 for a fountain drink..... I ordered Spanish dip and it was good. I'll try them again. Their actions the Street to my job, so convenience tops all things.

Was in the mood for some pizza but I wanted something different. The pizza here is amazing. Great atmosphere for family and friends. I'll recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the cliché of Italian cuisine. This is the perfect place to go.

This is a great place to be able to grab some lunch for those who work in Gentilly. The sandwiches and salads are always spot on. The pizza is excellent as well. Great service.

Decent Italian food at a good price. Definitely not homemade but decent quality. The service was really good and the food came out in fair time. The pizza in a heart shape was a sweet touch for my kiddos.

This place is a gem! Try the Mediterranean chicken hummus! You cant go wrong with their item selection. Everything is prepared well, taste great. The food, service at atmosphere is amazing.

Horrible! And, they have utensils and boxes that they serve pizza in located in the ladies restroom.

East of Italy has a great lunch specials, especially if you like a soup & sandwich. They have a cajun pasta dish is really good and the pizza is good as well. Great service. Ambiance is very nice.
