Great place!The owner (I believe) was super nice and genuinely friendly. Even got a hug. Awesome guy. Rest of staff just as nice. Food was really good. Muffaletta, po boys, tots, and onion rings were delicious. Generous portions too. Stop by and show them some love.

I travel a lot because of my job. This is first time visiting Baton Rouge, and I found this place. When I enter, a cook, I believe he was an owner (?), asked me if this is first time visiting the store. He gave me some samples of shrimps and I loved it. Ordered Mixed (Fish & Shrimp) and this is really good. If I am back here in the future, I will definitely visit again!

Huge portions! Delicious! The grilled shrimp salad was good with nice big shrimp. Tasty n more sweet potato fries than I could eat! 1 serving is enough for about 4 people

Best Burger in Baton Rouge by far. i'm not sure who else is second but this place is leading that gap by miles. Only open until 3pm and that's a bummer. Really good customer service as the owner greets all his customers. I really forgot about this place and was downtown for a basketball game and it hit me to try it out to see if they were still on point with their food. We'll they haven't missed a beat. I will be back really soon and I recommend this place if your ever downtown.

Best seafood in the city hands down, it's a must that I go atleast once a week, they know me by name now and my order I just say "the usual", great place.

Food is excellent. Ambiance is lacking. Service is good. Here's the problem, selection. Add some beans and rice or gumbo. Fries are fine but elevate the menu. Fried shrimp is tasty and just the perfect kick in the batter. So depending on what you're looking for this place is perfect or a bit disappointing. Your call

Food was better than the dining room deserved. Back of the house puts out a nice burger and fried seafood. Front of the house needs some work.

A month ago, I visited Downtown Seafood, as I had done so many times before expecting the same food with the same service. I've been a long time customer of Downtown Seafood.This time was different. The burger that I ordered was overcooked and was not made in the manner in which I requested. Once I arrived back at my office, I called to speak with the owner (who works there), and he told me that he was too busy to speak with me.From that moment, I decided that I would no longer purchase anything from there.
