Dook's Burger

The NOLA was the best tasting burger I've had with a spicy New Orleans flare! I highly recommend it!

We must first acknowledge this is airport eatery, but even taking this into account, this place is in serious need of attention by management. Why am I using my most precious resource, time, to write up this review? I want to help other hungry travelers make an informed decision and to challenge the management to do better.I ordered sausage biscuit sandwich (8.75) with bacon added-on (1.50) . I also wanted potatoes so I ordered a side of potatoes for $5. The prices as you can see are somewhat reasonable. This is the only reason along with the fact potatoes were hot for 2 stars adjusted for inflation. If not, solid single star!Here are highlights of my experience which may not be your experience:- waited 28 minutes for my order- side of potatoes come with the sandwich but not clearly communicated, waste of time, money, and food- dragon fruit kombucha showed up on kiosk but they didn't have any. Didn't have time to refund so just took 2 drinks as replacement - food tasted on par with McDonald's , though the difference with Dook's was that it was not pretty, the biscuit was crumbling, bacon was all coiled to look like curly fries, The positive was that they got my order correct, no cheese and there was no cheese!Dook's management, please do better. I'll be back in June to MSY, hope to see changes.

This place is very appropriately named. This was shockingly sub-par and without a doubt, the worst burger I've had the misfortune of passing through my lips. There were so many bone chunks/hard cartilage/some kind of teeth buster in both burgers my friend and I had. We had to stop eating them and just tossed them exactly where they belonged. The service was laughable. After waiting 15 minutes they told my friend they were out of chicken and just turned around. When he said something, she turned back around and was like, "what, do you want to refund?"

Not bad for airport food. The service was fast, could have been friendlier though. I ordered the sweet chilly wings and the popcorn shrimp, both were great. The wings were perfectly crispy and the sauce was delicious. Fried were good too and everything reasonable priced.

Ate here before our flight home yesterday. Food was mediocre. Husband and I both ordered something different- both woke up with food poisoning and puked the entire rest of the night. That kitchen must be foul. Wish zero stars was an option.

When the airport first opened, Dook's had an excellent breakfast sandwich with potatoes. Really, one of my favorites. Well made sandwich and crispy brown potatoes.But for the last year or so, it's nowhere near the same. The sandwich is okay, but semi - thrown together. The potatoes are soggy and look almost uncooked.It's a shame since it's one of the few places that doesn't just offer coffee and muffins.

Food (cup of Gumbo and Chicken Salad) - 9/10And only because they don't have shrimp or seafood in their gumbo which I get as it's expensive and spoils easy but their gumbo is so delicious you'll want more!Service 10/10 - sat at the bar area and charged my tech stuff and the woman server I had was fantastic! Ordered ate and out in 30 mins only because I took my time.Bar 8/10 - selection is slim but nice setupI'd come back just for the Gumbo reaux!

NOLA "burger" was the worst I've ever had. Mushy meat. Spiced sausage. I couldn't eat anymore after a bite or two. Just plain gross. The place should be called Dookie

the burger was actually disgusting probably the worst burger i've ever eaten. They came out with the order quick and they made sure to not add cheese which was nice but it was still so bad. the burger patty had me questioning if it was even real

This is the slowest food vendor I've ever been to an airport. Ungodly slow. There are 8 people working and zero orders have come out in 10 minutes
