My girl, she ain't the one that I saw comingAnd sometimes I don't know which way to goAnd I tried to run beforeBut I'm not running anymoreCause I've fought against it hard enough to knowThat you love, who you loveWho you love...We settled into Domenica Rest. late afternoon for LunchDin. following a late nite Endymion party at the Caesar's Dome celebrating and seeing the day's Mardi Gras Floats roll in...Then getting a Katy Perry closeup concert until 2am...:)4pm...We shared..Crispy Brussel Sprouts" w. Steen's cane mignonette, feta cheese"."Yum"..:) Then shared.."Cacio Pepe" w. pecorino romano, black pepperblended w. spaghetti, nicely done...just needing more pepper, We're Pepperheads."Braciole" of flank steak roulade, arrabbiata sauce and pine nuts. Quite tasty just missin the meat, and seemed to be replaced w. cheese. But, still enjoyable. Domenica is a comfortable Old School restaurant on the first floor of the Roosevelt Hotel..A very good "WakeUp Meal"Thank You Domenica...Oh, you can't make yourself stop dreamingWho you're dreaming ofIf it's who you loveThen it's who you love..Best, Avram K. The menu and portion sizes have changed since we last ate here. The Lasagne is still great but a smaller portion.Pastas aren't offered in 2 sizes anymore. The Agnolotti is excellent. We had Tiramisu (ok) and the Molten Chocolate Torte (excellent) for dessert. We wouldn't order the Tiramisu again.Service was good but they were very busy.

Domenica lives up to the hype. Even though it's technically attached to a hotel (The famous Roosevelt), I don't consider it a hotel restaurant because it's just far better and has a classier more upscale vibe than the typical hotel restaurant. My friends and I came here during the holidays without a reservation on a fairly busy evening and were seated immediately. It took us a while to order but our server was continually attentive until we made up our mind. We ordered a margherita pizza, some Brussels and the squid ink pasta. Everything was great and perfect sizes for sharing amongst the three of us. The pizza was so good- simple ingredients that struck the perfect balance between crispy, saucy cheesy and basil(y). So yum. I don't recall ever being disappointed with Domenica. Kudos to that place for keeping me hooked!

One of the bigger letdowns I had in New Orleans, but not the biggest was Domenica.I was told there late night happy hour is something you cannot miss so we went there after a Saints game. Service was slow our order was incorrect and the service just flat out stunk! It was almost as if they wanted to get us out of the restaurant versus have us there for late night happy hour.Overall, the food was OK, but nothing to write home about. Oh and did I mention, the food did not come as we had ordered it. 100% over priced for what we got and won't be back.

Such a privilege to dine at Domenica and then wander out to the Roosevelt holiday lobby and the Sazerac Bar. The pizza is always solid and the service is always great. We tried the chicken liver pate and it was very good. My only wish is that it would be served with crackers or crisp toast points instead of the greasy round bread. It's crumbly and not a good vehicle for the pate. My companions got the squid ink pasta and the carbonara. The squid ink is a classic. The carbonara is passable but definitely not bad. The noise level seemed better this time, so maybe the restaurant has worked on their sound proofing.

Great Italian spot downtown New Orleans. I would say it's a more elevated Italian restaurant so I recommend dressing on the nicer side. Every dish we ordered was fantastic and the wine list was extensive. The service was absolutely wonderful. I would return.

Enjoyable food and service during a busy holiday season. The restaurant is within the beautifully decorated Roosevelt hotel. I had the spaghetti carbonara. It was delicious and had plenty of bacon. For dessert, I had the banana zuppa inglese and it was yummy.

Exceptional food and warm atmosphere. We sat at the comfortable bar and enjoyed delicious Arancinis and an atypical and delightful roasted beet salad, served by an engaging and entertaining bartender from Detroit. The specialty drinks were wonderful. We're looking forward to returning soon.

Went for lunch and still had a little wait. Once we were seated we saw some delicious food go by us. I went with the white pizza and ate almost the entire thing by myself. The crust was thin and crisp. The toppings were fresh and made a great combination. Had lots of the ricotta cheese and it was perfect. The dessert was amazing. Almost a cake banana pudding. Was so full walking out of there but it's a good place to eat.

You really can't beat their happy hour. The pizzas are half price, huge, and tasty. The drinks are also a good deal. I was amazed that the place wasn't jam packed. Service is fantastic.
