Danny & Clyde's

Been coming here since I was a kid! It's always the first stop when I'm back home. You can't go wrong with a poboy from Danny & Clyde's. At this point, it's a tradition. My grandpa also used to stop here on his way in to visit us. Then my brother, now it's me!

I've ordered from here before, it was FOOLISH of me thinking that the cooks or food would improve..Any good reviews this store is given, must be from out-of- towners who don't know the value of Real New Orleans Cooking..or they are so hungry that they would eat anything..that stands to reason since danny/clydes is located in Metairie Not New Orleans, no comparison....The food I recievedlast night, a deathrow inmate would rather GO HUNGRY than chow down. RIP..The Oysters was drenched Oil Old Black Gold,Texas Tea. The FRIES were as STIFF as the contestants ON DANCING WITH THE STARS. Clinging together for dear life,, like sardines.. One would need Medical Insbefore eating it..file for Medicare after eating it, and take an Metamucil to remove the remains of nightly stomach cramps..and Hope that you are in Good Hands with All-State, you're going to need them.. A horrible Expierience..1. CHANGE YOUR GREASE/OIL REGULARLY 2. WEAR HAIR COVERING

I am through all together with this place. Tired of the rudness and ignoring customers. I guess the owner doesn't care about making the managers train their employees on how to speak to customers...and get their order right. I was as polite as I can be...but the employee was rude on how she spoke to me. I didn't like her tone...and she hung up on me once when I asked what time do they close. I never got an answer on that.

Since I have returned Danny & Clyde's has been on point. The Ham and Swiss poboy is second to none in the city. The oyster and the shrimp poboys are top notch as well. Best poboys in the city and its from a gas station.

Just ordered through uberEats and everything was GREAT! Food arrived hot and fresh. Everyone's sandwiches was delicious. Will definitely order again. Thank you so much

If I could give this place one star, I definitely would. We got to New Orleans late so our food options due to COVID 19 were limited. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp plate and I got the catfish plate. The food was disgusting! The catfish, shrimp, and fries were drenched in old cooking oil. There was zero flavor other than the flavor of 3 day old cooking oil. I didn't eat mine so I went to sleep hungry, a complete waste of almost $16 a plate!!!!

I got a roast beef po boy today and it was the absolute worse po boy I've ever had in my lifeAlso when I went to pay he tried charging me $10.00 more then what my total really was. What's up with that?!?!?!So I will NEVER go back there ever again and I will make sure to spread the word

Ordered 11/29/2022 7:30pm. Waste of money. Nothing was right. Ham/swiss poboy they left off all the toppings, cold fries, & more. Glad I do not own this crazy business!

My coworkers and myself have ordered here on more than one occasion. Each and every time, we say we won't do it again in regards to the quality of the food being served. Granted, we waited a few weeks before giving it another shot. EPIC FAIL. We Ordered 2 Shrimp on Bun Combos and a Roast Beef(Thank God for the Gravy, they forgot to dress it). Anyway, the shrimp were so small and fried so hard they were like sun-dried shrimp on bun. I refused to even bring it back because the employees already seem like they want to fight while they're behind the counter eating the good food. Maybe they have good gasoline because the food is NOT keeping them open!!!!

Some of the best poboys in New Orleans. The shrimp, catfish, and hot sausage are my favorites. I wish they stayed open later.
