D & D Drive In

Everyone knows this is one of the best local joints to go! They have so many good options to choose from...pictured here is the burger and fries I decided to go with. The burger was perfect, not a single complaint about that! The fries were fried a little too long and no salt at all but still enjoyable. My brothers shrimp on his poboy were also fried too long, I'm sure this isn't all the time though..hope not anyway. This is definitely a great choice for any out of towners passing thru, and any lazy afternoon when locals don't want to cook. They also have a little bit of seating indoors. Paid $29 for my burger combo and a shrimp poboy combo so guess the pricing isn't an issue

This place is sooo good! Really yummy shakes and malts and American food. The hot dogs with chili are cheese are also really good! My fiancé always gets the banana split. Definitely a cute hole in the wall worth checking out!

Went here twice in 2 days, yes the food is that good and tried multiple things. Day 1 I had the chicken sandwich with seasoned fries for $7 after taxes and it was easily in the Top 3 of chicken sandwiches I've had in from a restaurant. The next day I got the large bun (5 inch) shrimp sandwich which had a lot of shrimp on it, my mom got the crab sandwich and my dad had a butterscotch shake. My dad have his shake 5 stars and my mom said her crab sandwhich was good, but nothing special. You can eat in or order from the to go window. The prices are very reasonable and it's close to Elaine's snowballs, which is over the HWY1 bridge on the first street to the right. It's also very reasonably priced. Overall this is worth a visit.

This is a great little place to stop for food. I love their hotdogs with chili and cheese. Good prices, good food, and friendly service. The dining room is small but most people her food to go.

Fast and friendly service. The food is amazing, and the workers are super friendly! My family and I go there at least 1-2 times a week. It's more of a family feel from when you arrive until you get your food and leave. Very nice place to go!

in Larose for work and stopped to get food here. payed $18 for the fish plate and I get a handful of fish that looks and tastes like it came from Walmart, I get one small cup of tarter sauce, the salad is just shredded lettuce with 2 cucumbers and they didn't even give me a fork. in my opinion definitely not how you should serve an $18 meal.

LOVE D & D DRIVE IN (or Double D as the locals know it)!!!! Been eating here since I was a kid. Since they got got their power back up after Hurricane Ida, we've eaten there at least once a week. I think we actually ate there 3 times one weekend They actually worked with no a/c for quite a while. Love these people so much!!! Hot dogs with chili are my all time favorite - especially the red weenies on the weekends. Burgers are awesome too. Recently had the fried chicken, which was also fabulous and it came with a salad!!!!

Underwhelmed.It was ok, for drive in food. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great. Just "ok" food.It is like the Mark Ruffalo of drive ins.I mean he is a decent actor, but would you run to a movie because you hear he is in it?

My absolute favorite place for good comfort food! Everything on the menu is delicious; I've never been disappointed at D & D! And seriously you have to try the chili!! And the banana pontoons
