Cypress Grill

I give this place the same amount of stars as Venice Marina Grill (Crawgators) . Food is alright, would even be good if they didn't mess up the order, and service was slow with the foot traffic being slow. I'll never understand how orders get messed up when we're your only customers. I understand being busy and trying to juggle things but this was not one of those times. This place would be so amazing if the workers/owners cared more, it seems since they're the only convenient place that they get lazy with everything. Such a shame.

Great food and the service was excellent. More food than we could eat which is a shame because it was some of the best I've eaten. Seafood fries are the bomb

G/F and I drove down to Venice to just basically see how far we could go. We ended up at Cypress Grill, which is on the upper level at a fueling station on the river. I tried the Gator Balls appetizer, and was in for a surprise. Being from West Tennessee, all hush puppy type food has a very breaded center and this was simply full of mushy awesomeness. Ordered the Tuna from the grill, seared, by far some of the best I've eaten. We cannot get fish this fresh in Memphis, it is always frozen, rethawn and sold at price. I was only here for lunch, my GF and I were the only patrons, but I'm glad this is where we ended up. Friendly atmosphere, has a bar, inside sit down area, and outside patio. If I'm ever in the area again, they will definitely see me again. Kudos fellas. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

First night I ate here I ordered the cheeseburger with fries, the cheese burger tasted terrible , I was really hungry so I forced myself to eat half of it, not long after eating it I was very sick and went back to my hotel where I threw my guts up. I then came back the next day for lunch and had a salad with ranch ,( still scared after the burger incident), the salad croutons were very soft and stale, they were not fresh at all, the salad itself was incredibly soggy , like it had been left out to sit . Hate to do this, but this restaurant needs a lot of work or help, or maybe different management. I do not recommend this restaurant.

This place is horrible. Got there at 8 and got half our food after an hour. Half the table received their food 30 mins after everyone was done. Waitress said the other staff members just take her food and serve to other tables. They then tried to run extra money on my card and denied it until I showed them proof. She then treated me like it was my fault she was not capable of adding the difference of cash to the credit card amount. Stay away from this place. Had better food at Luby's.
