Fyi they only take cash!!! But this place was great. Ring the door bell. We go so much Sausage for a great price!! The lady was nice she let us pick what we want explain the difference in the sausage.

Great homemade sausage, all kinds of sausage.I was thrown off at first, we took an uber to the location and walked in and there were people sitting at a table and I thought we had accidentally walked into someones home, it sits in a neighborhood so it is an actual home. We told them we there for sausage and they got up and showed us around. Showed us all the facilities where they make the sausage and all the different types they have and where they keep them. They gave us the grand tour without us asking for it. Very nice folks.As we were walking around, the mom came in. She is super nice. She told her son to heat us up some samples and we talked with her for a while. They are both very personable people. The mom told us she was in her upper 60's I believe but she barely looks 50 and moves quick as a rabbit.Anyway, the sausage was great, we purchased as much as we thought we could fit into our luggage to take back home with us. We will definitely be back for more sausage next time we are in New Orleans. If if this sausage was terrible I would give them a good review because they were truly nice people, but the sausage is great so everyone wins.

Now this place brings back some great memories. My Mom who is no Novice in the kitchen would go here a couple of times a month to pick up various Sausage and Meats for Gumbo, Red Beans, Jambalaya you name it. Now I'm partial to the Alligator Sausage but the Crawfish Sausage is right up there. This is a great family run business that's been serving Families and Businesses in New Orleans for many many years. Had a chance to stop by yesterday before flying out today. The place looks a little different, but Katrina couldn't take away or change the quality and service of Creole Country. I felt like a Tourist when I asked when they were going to start selling Boudin. To my surprise they have been for some time. My response was, "A dozen Links please" I should tell you that when buying you'll be instantly hooked and grocery store Sausage will no longer do. Let's just say that my bags will be 15 pounds heavier for the flight back to Texas. The absolute best!

I'm not sure about this place I was looking for some Gator sausage to take back to Texas with me but when I arrived it looked like a house or garage that was closed

Absolutely the worst sausage head cheese and boudin so bland I paid $169.00 for shipping food I can't eat not worth it these people and reviews must be from friends. Not worth it I know better places in New Orleans have better sausage and boudin I'm sure don't order from here. I'm going to trash it.

Just so no one is confused (like I was), this is not a restaurant. It is a sausage factory. No place to sit down and eat, but a place to buy the best sausage around. I met Vaughn who is a super nice guy. He cooked me some samples so I could make up my mind. I sampled 5 different sausages and they were all excellent. The chicken andouille is the best I have ever eaten. So next time your in NOLA, load the address in your GPS and pay them a visit. You won't regret it.

Love love love their sausages and tasso!! We come by and pick up a few pounds when we visit New Orleans. Really love their smoked sausage and grill it fir a great summer meal!

My new gift shop! I know its a little wierd, but the families are in MIchigan and CA, and are both big foodies. Funky sausages always make them happy- especially the Chaurice and Andoullie. Alligator and Crawfish always get their attention- especially when I can reveal that when I dropped in to buy their gifts, they fresh wrapped it for me right then. The staff are always really friendly and helpful- throwing lagniappes all over the place. Pricing couldnt be better considering the quality and fact that it cant get any fresher! They're also available in most local markets- but dont both checking at Rouses, they refuse to sign on with them!

Great selection of meats and so very, very good in taste. Quick service Friendly staff. Reasonably priced

The folks were awesome and had already saw our out of state license plate. The Crawfish Sausage was our fav. We will be back.
