Creole Bleu Cafe

We stopped here with a party of 8 at 2pm on a Monday, after a swamp tour. The owner welcomed us warmly, and the food was very tasty. Our party had the Monday Red beans and rice with catfish special, a burger, mac n cheese, gumbo, salad, creole pasta with shrimp, and the creole baked potato with shrimp. Everything was so tasty, and the portions were very generous. My dad said the standout was the green beans that came with the Monday special, but we had no complaints about anything we ordered. Our server was very sweet and accommodating, and the food came out pretty quickly. We would highly recommend this place! Support a locally owned small business serving delicious food!

This place is what it is. It's Cheap and you get a lot of food for cheap. Everything is very inexpensive. Everything looks very inexpensive so it's a great place to get a lot of food for Cheap. Don't recommend the spinach dip however, the mac & cheese was great. The eggrolls were good and everything was seasoned and yummy. I definitely recommend the fried catfish that was beautifully done and we loved the catfish platter. My waiter was very nice but remember this is basically like a hole in the wall. It's nothing fancy but the food is yummy and the prices are really low so I recommend if you're in the area for a quick lunch or if you have a big family to feed for dinner.

We were headed from New Orleans to an alligator tour. We decided to pop in here for an early dinner. What a great choice!! We started with bleu seafood fries. They were delicious! The shrimp was perfect and the cheese sauce devine! I had the creole bleu pasta, which had shrimp, crawfish, and crab. It was amazing! My daughter got chicken strips and absolutely loved them. We stumbled upon a great restaurant!

OMG! This place knocks it out of the park! The food is gourmet quality at modest prices. The service was pleasant and caring. Seanique, our server tonight was really outstanding! We had the gumbo, which came without okra, which surprised me. It was mild with lots of sausage. Good but not great. The other appetizer we had was the Creole BBQ Shrimp. The sauce was fabulous and the shrimp fresh and all the parts included. Delicious!My husband had the Creole Blue Pasta which comes with three types of seafood and a slightly spiced sauce. I had the Cajun Creole Pasta on Lafitte. I ordered it with catfish. All came to the table hot. Everything was awesome!!We had a cocktail and left very happy.

I've been wanting to try out this place since it was new to the neighborhood. When calling for take out, the employee who answered and took our order was friendly and kind. I ordered the Cajun Creole Pasta with Shrimp and the hubby ordered buffalo wings with fries. Hubby came home and handed the bag to me and I was like dangggg they packed the bag heavy with food so I was really excited. The food looks pretty too when I first opened the box. Unfortunately food was mediocre. The sauce was bland and could use extra creole seasoning. I wouldn't ordered it again. Hubby said his wings were also mediocre. There were no bleu cheese or ranch which should have came along with his buffalo wings. We even asked for it when ordering. I wasn't there to see what the space look like (since my husband picked up the food) but they do have plenty of parking every time I drove by there. We may give it another go and try something else off the menu.

Restaurant was very good. Went there at a nice time. Food was very good. Ordered the Creole Bleu Loaded Potato and I can say I was not disappointed. Portion sizes are good. If I'm ever back in NOLA I will likely come back

This is a hidden gem !!! I can't believe I didn't know this place existed before now. The food we EXCELLENT!! For the appetizer we had the Stuffed Bell Pepper Rolls. For the entrée we had the Creole Blue Pasta. I didn't even put a dent in the pasta. But let me tell you something, I never write reviews or recommend places. This place is.AWESOME!!! You must try this place!!! I will probably kick myself in the butt for recommending, but I don't care.

I was eager to try this new place on the Bestbank. I decided to go for lunch; dined in as a party of 2. It was quiet; we were the only ones there. I think most people place to-go orders around this time. The hostess/ waitress was nice. We decided to order the Thursday pasta special, one with shrimp and one with catfish. The catfish was $2 extra. The fish was fried to perfection! However, the pasta and its sauce were flavorless and had me reaching for more seasoning. Being my greedy self, I still ate it all though. There are many other items on the menu and daily specials and even brunch.

We walked in at 830 but the owner and chef accomodated us (they close at 9 pm). Really big menu tgat is ablr to accomodate everyones cravings. 4 of the 5 in my party had different varieties of the pastas or potatoes. They were all complimentary of the food. I had the bell pepper egg rolls and fried shrimp which were good as well. Check them out

Good atmosphere and music. The menu was.. different. In the sense of choices. They have 2 bottomless Mimosa options, regular (oj) for 21.99 flavored for 24.99 but you can only choose one flavor of mimosa or pay for two bottomless options so you can have different flavors.. that's weird but i guess. Mimosas are a good mix of juice and champagne. There's absolutely no substitutions yet everything but the crab cakes come with grits no option for potatoes unless you buy it on the side. For the pricing you don't really get what you want. Food was decent, the fish lamb chop and chicken had almost no flavor if not for the sauces accompanied. The service itself was great everyone was friendly and welcoming. Give them a try and let me know what you think
