Coop Deville of Amite

I've been to the Hammond location of Coop Deville also and I definitely prefer the Amite location. It was bigger and less crowded than the Hammond location. The Hammond location also has a drive thru. There was one girl waiting on all the tables but we didn't notice any lack of good customer service because of it. We had the mini corn dogs as an appetizer which were fresh and good. My boyfriend got the bone in taco and spicy honey mustard wings. The taco flavor was very subtle, with more of a Buffalo flavor. The spicy honey mustard was very good with a nice, doable lingering heat. My wrap was so good, although so simple. It was bacon, bbq sauce and cheddar. I got it with grilled chicken instead of fried chicken. They have so many options for sauce that I will definitely be back. I think we will take the few extra minutes to drive to the Amite location.

Very disappointed in the food. "Boneless" wings are battered chicken tenders cut in half, deep fried then tossed in sauce. I ordered the taco chicken tenders on a quesadilla. Not only was the sour cream put in the quesadilla which made it warm and runny, but the "taco" sauce tasted like a basic mild Buffalo sauce. Nothing taco too it. I expect homemade ranch or blue cheese dressing when I go to a wing place. The ranch came to you in packets. The onion rings were way over cooked, almost burnt. We were here for an hour and 45 minutes for two fried appetizers and two entree orders, all of which are deep fried... maybe they needed to change grease mid shift on a Saturday night since it wasn't busy??? No reason for this kind of food to take that long! The only positive was the server who was delightful and sincerely apologetic for the wait!

My Wife and I try to come here once a week. We love the Bone-in wings and fries. Can't speak for much else of the menu but it all looks good. Our service is always fast and polite. Drinks are always topped off and Beer is always cold. The wing flavors are endless and the ones we have tried are great. If you are complaining about prices go on Monday night for wing night. My only complaint is every once in a while the wings are a little small but they usually throws a few more in to compensate.

The service was very slow. If you have a party of five or more they put the gratuity in the bill. I couldn't even get a refill of my water in the 1 1/2 hours I was there.

Doesn't even deserve a star if i'm being honest. We sat ourselves right away but the wait was absolutely ridiculous ESPECIALLY for the quality of the food we got. If you want your food on Tuesday, order it on Friday and it MIGHT be ready by then. They have the worst service EVER and I guess they think covid doesn't exist since no staff was wearing masks. you would think BONELESS chicken would be easy to eat but it was literally cut up chicken tenders deep fried and felt like i was biting into bone. Ranch also was tubes of KRAFT. That's what i used to get in a middle school cafeteria. Waitress also NEVER acknowledged me and only spoke with and FLIRTED with my boyfriend so if you're trying to be disrespected and have the worst meal of your life this place would actually be perfect for you!!
