We called in our order to go. We didn't wait long and got a call back that our order would be ready soon. When we arrived to pick it up, we were greeted so friendly that we felt at home immediately. We ordered 2 chicken plates and all the items (macaroni and cheese, sweet potato fries, onion rings) were hot and fresh. Good food, good price, and good service. Delish!

Mom and pop restaurant. Good home cooked food. During this time Clay's is only doing takeout do the pandemic no dine in service is being offered at the moment. I ordered it the garlic Parmesan wings which were really really good. The macaroni and cheese was just OK, and the yams. I wish my ribs had more sauce. Please make all sauces, and everything else from scratch.

I was passing through the area and decided to stop in. This was my first time eating fried ribs and I was not disappointed. The ribs were very flavorful and were pretty tender even though they were fried. The two sides I chose were french fries and baked spaghetti. The menu listed it as macaroni and cheese but on the plate it was actually spaghetti. It was delicious.The customer service was top notch and the dining area was clean. On my way out, I purchased a square of pecan candy. That was like the cherry on top. It was generously cut and had just the right amount of sweetness. This is a good place to eat if you want good home down cooking.

They have the best hot sausage Patty poboy I have ever tasted. What makes its the best is the bread. It's a soft bread instead of the regular French loaf. The building was sold after Hurricane Ida. I wish I knew where they are now. I miss them.

The parmesan fried ribs are very good, along with the loaded fries. My first trip and won't be my last! The people are very friendly and welcoming.
