Everything is a 10! The staff is friendly, the food never disappoints, and I couldn't recommend a better spot for food! The ambience could definitely use some work, but it's fine how it is for sure! It's never messy, always clean. But it seems like there keeping the same trend on going since 2000s.

This place is awesome !!! I was born and raised in the area but now live out of state. When I come visit I always have to make a stop for the best bacon burger ever. It's under new ownership but food is still excellent. The restaurant was very clean and servers were very friendly and accommodating because my wife is gluten free. If I could make one suggestion it would be to have gluten free buns for the burgers, but if you want a great HOMEMADE hamburger go to Chicks!

Someone very near and dear to me told me about Chick's Burgers and I have to admit it, he was correct about how great this place is. Never judge a book by it's cover! It's off the beaten path in what looks like a run down abandoned building...when you walk in it's nothing fancy either. It's outdated but TRUST, the food and service here will keep you coming back for more, more I say!I had a shrimp poboy on a bun and onion rings. If you know me you know that shrimp is my jam and I have a thing about butterflying them because who wants to eat that vein/poop thing? Not I.The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and butterflied. It was fully dressed and she even brought out ketchup when she delivered it. OK? Hello heaven. The onion rings were very good. Not the best I've had but a top contender for sure. We enjoyed our meal so much we even stayed for dessert which is not the norm for me. If you ever find yourself in Baldwin do yourself a favor and stop in to Chick's! I'll be back!

Fresh and good! I ordered a shrimp poboy and fries today and it was very good. Shrimp were fried and seasoned well and everything was fresh. My friend enjoyed his double burger so much that we returned later in the day for supper and he ordered the same thing again.

Had the catfish poboy and it was delicious! Highly recommended. First time today, but it won't be my last!

I just stopped here for lunch. I mentioned to the two girls up front that this was my first time trying Chick's Burger. They were very nice and just smiled and said the burgers and chili were home made every day. Well, I ordered a cheeseburger and a half shrimp Po-Boy. The burger had been warmed over. I could tell because the cheese wasn't even melted on top and the burger wasn't fresh. It was tough and kind of luke warm. How do you serve a warmed up burger to anyone let alone someone new trying the place out for the first time? Here's a tip- every menu item cooked to order. Next up was the shrimp Po-Boy. There was a lot of bread and the shrimp lacked any flavor. I gave it a shot based on the reviews and I like to try the local restaurants when I'm traveling. The restaurant was empty at 1pm which is not a good sign either. I believe I will choose to move on to other restaurants based on my experience.Put more effort into serving fresh and flavorful food and it might work out for you.

The club sandwich and the Shrimp Poboy are excellent choices. Very reasonable prices

Great service and such friendly people. Food is on point! Delicious and nice portions and so fresh. Great prices. The ambiance is laid back and comfy! Love this restaurant!

I ordered a 20 piece nugget with fries. I did not get enough fries on my plate. Just like a hand full. I will not order this again.
