This was the first place we ate when we moved into our home in Louisiana, and it was to go. Since then we've done pick up multiple times and eaten in once. Ambiance is casual, quiet and comfortable. The shrimp po-boy is my husband's fav, and considering the plethora of po-boy shops, that's saying something. Reasonably priced and quick, pleasant service make this strip mall restaurant a must try. I'm obsessed with their potato salad, which is homemade by the aunt and the grandmother. It's kind of ruined me for every other potato salad. The only thing I would skip would be the muffaletta on a bun. The olive salad oil comes through the bun, and something about the meat choices on the bun missed the target for me.Make sure to check out the lunch specials - Tuesday is Italian - and remember, they are closed Wednesday nights.

We were heading back from a fan boat tour and saw this place had great reviews. We have yet to have a PO-Boy so we decided to give this place a try. You have to pay before you sit down and eat. Hard to see menu online (so I posted it here) they have fountain sodas, kids menu. We got the Shrimp Po-Boy and fried pickles. The Shrimp Po-Boy was good. It was on French bread. The bread was light but a bit dry. They put a mayo sauce with shredded lettuce and breaded shrimp (no tails). Shrimp itself was tasty. The fried pickles were very delicious. They were thin and had a thin breading. They came with a dill based ranch Swiss which was good for dipping. A friend got the artichoke Po-Boy and said it tasted good. The sweet tea was also tasty. If you are nearby and want to try a Po-Boy, consider this place. The service was good. The folks running the place came out many times to check in us even though we paid when we came in. They made sure we had napkins, the proper drinks and even offered us refills. I ended up leaving an additional tip at my table.

Girlfriend and I was in town looking for a bite and this place caught our eye instantly. Walk in and the counter to order is right in front of you, and to the right is the dining room. The lady working there was sweet as can be, welcoming us to New Orleans (as if I'm not from the area) and explaining everything to us about their menu. Apparently hot sausage and fried shrimp is the only poboy that you can't split half and half. That's what I decided to go with, and onion rings as my side. Instead of one poboy split, I had to order 2 separate sandwiches. They have a 5.5", 8", & 11" poboy. She got the shrimp poboy with fries; the fries are good but come with no salt which is no issue at all. The shrimp poboy is good, it's not the best shrimp poboy I've ever had but it's a good one for sure. Hot sausage patties are my new favorite thing, and everytime I eat it it gets better and better. This one was great as well, and the onion rings were out of this world. You can't refill your own drinks but you do get free refills. It's a nice dining room with painting all over the walls, few tables around the place, music playing. The lady that took our order was the only person we saw anywhere...not sure if she was running a one woman show but if she was she definitely knows how to do it. Bill was like $45 or something, I guess that's reasonable basically having 3 Poboys. Overall I recommend this place and would not think twice about revisiting.

I love this place so much. It's family owned & good food. I usually pair with a daiquiri from Cajun daiquiris down the street. I've never sat down inside I've always ordered over the phone & picked up. NEVER disappointed. Hubs go to is the BBQ Shrimp po-boy. I personally like to change it up every so often. But today is "taco Tuesday" so I tried the beef taco po-boy & was not disappointed. Paired with some Urban South Beers from home this time & again perfect! Now if you're going to get a side from this place, the fries are just potato wedges without flavor. So don't go for those. BUT the Fried Pickles with Cucumber sauce!!! I promise you! It's the SHITTTT This is my go to po-boy shop.

We stopped here on random passing while on an alligator tour, and boy did were we pleasantly surprised! The food was great! The service was great! Total of 8 in our party and everyone tried somthing different and it was all delicious. It came out fresh and within 10 minutes from time of ordering which has not been our experinace since visiting the area. I would recommend anyone stopping by and trying this place out if they are in the area.
