I love this place! It's a local legacy! Personable with character and everything u seek in a local eating establishment.The small Italian muffuletta is huge! You will not eat it all.The service is endearing.If I was here on a regular basis I'd try more items on the menu.

This is our new favorite breakfast spot. We tried this for the first time on Sunday and it exceeded all our expectations. From the outside it doesn't look like anything special, but the inside is decorate so cute. It's not a big place, so you may have to wait a few minutes for a table. The staff is great and you can tell they really hustle. They have a small breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price and everything looks really good. I had their Mediterranean omelet. It isn't normally what I would order, but I thought I would try something different and boy was I happy with it. They have a breakfast casserole with potations, onions and cheese that was really good too. Husband had your basic pancakes, bacon and sausage and was really happy with everything. I can't wait to go back.

Good food and a lot of it! We were in town and didn't want to go into the big city. Didn't need to with this gem in Slidell! The shrimp and grits was spot on! Coffee was good. Waitresses were friendly. Diner ambiance. Good value for the money.

Husband had the breakfast and I had the roast over bread. The roast was a deli roast and instant brown gravy. The mashed potatoes was an instant potatoes and they were runny. Food was cold. My husband had the breakfast. His biscuit was cold and hard the potatoes he said tasted funny, almost a sausages taste. I had a water to drink he had tea. Our bill was $50. I barely touched mine. I brought it home for my dog. He would not touch it. Had to go to the counter to ask for refills on our drinks and no they were not busy. New in town so I thought I would try this place. Will not be back.

Too overpriced for what you get. Food was subpar and buffet was not worth the price. Eggs Benedict was in the pan for god knows how long and hard as a rock. This need to made to order. Muffin dries out and you have small stones. This place can't compare to other local places. For the price I paid for two I. could have had breakfast for 4 at Good Eats.
