Cajun Seafood

Food was horrible will not be returning. Service was amazing on the other hand. Not pictured is the boiled shrimp and turkey neck. The shrimp were overcooked and cold at the same time because they were sitting out for who knows how long. Ambiance was ok its just like a gas station. Do not recommend.

Always tasty boiled seafood ready to go. They have a whole kitchen that cooks poboys, chicken, seafood, you name it! Right off the highway and easy to get to.

Visiting New Orleans and read the reviews on this place .... Decided to go as it was within walking distance from my Airbnb. This is NOT an eat-in place. More like a convenient store that sells some amazing food. They've got boiled shrimp that are larger than the law should allow, boiled crab and huge crab legs and the crawfish... EXCELLENT. It was perfectly seasoned to allow for the taste of the crawfish and some heat but not overdone where you are just eating super hot seasoning with a crawfish flavor to it. They also have hot, fried items: seafood platters, boudin balls, etc.If you're an fan of seafood, you cant go wrong with this place. More of a stop n go joint. But you cant go wrong neither.

This place will always be my first love! The prices fluctuate due to it being seafood but it's sooooo as addictive and worth every penny!

I love coming home back to the city because I always go to Cajuns to get some crawfish and a hot sausage poboy! Nothing compares. I was so sad to leave because I knew I wasn't going to be able to find food like this in Dallas. The first time I came was on Saturday around lunch time. And we got 6 pounds of crawfish with 2 big shots. Then later on that day we got 2 more pounds of crawfish lol. Yeah, we had been craving some good crawfish so we had to double back. And finally, right before we left to come back to Dallas we got hot sausage poboys, 2 more big shots, and a box of mama noodles. Yes, you can say it was a pretty good experience. I'm just counting the days I can come back home and get some again.

Every time i write a review its good or bad, and this one bad. I got a shrimp on bun from here TWICE and the shrimp was RAW. Omg that is the worst experience ever and to have it happen twice, is even worst Never again.

The fried food is seasoned very well & is very good. The boiled food is extremely spicy where you can't enjoy it .

Usually, I've never had a problem when visiting Cajun. Very seldom do I encounter the owner(s) when there but on this day I did. Once at the counter, I waited a few minutes while he and another worker (owner) completed their conversation, though this itself was awkward because they both acted as if I wasn't even there. He then turned to me in the most unpleasant way asking, YEEES! I looked at this greeting as being rude and obnoxious. It was then I decided to leave without purchasing anything but not before shouting at him why I chose not to patronize his establishment. I became somewhat belligerent in my language because I was so angry. A few days later I went back to apologize for my actions and my apology was received. Still, I have not been back as a returning customer.

I bought 2 10pcs wings with Shrimp fried rice and there was a roach in my rice. When i bought the plates back she said oh i can't see it. I then told her to look again and she refunded my money

Yes,yes,yes I had the crawfish, mushrooms, and shrimp. It was so good, the only negative I can say is that my fiancé arrived 30 minutes later and the price of crawfish had jumped up by $2.50 a pound
