Cajun Market

Yep, overpriced, rude service in a town famous for its hospitality. "How's it going?" I asked, no response. "That good", I said. Was asked twice for ID, the second time while I was looking for the ID. I said "I heard you!"Only when I got back did I realize the mega priced praline was three weeks beyond its "best by" date. Stale. I expected overpriced and rude based on these reviews. I should get my money back on the praline but I won't be returning to add insult to injury.Plan ahead hit CVS or Rouse's.

Do not go here. There are no prices on the beer so the front counter worker can make up prices. It's a scam of a liquor store. Don't go!! Walk somewhere else. It's worth it.

You'll need to possess a mighty thirst to pay the exorbitant prices for a bottle of vodka here. Save yourself $20 and call a cab to take you to the nearest CVS pharmacy.

Price gouging and rude. I didn't get the bottle of water and walked out, I used the Convention Center water fountain for free. Then the guy was rude and berated me for putting back the stratospherically priced water.

This place must be under new ownership, because I was delighted to find a clean, organized mini-market with a wide variety of goods, so close to my hotel across from the Convention Center during a recent meeting I had to attend. I didn't notice that prices were any more inflated than anyplace else in NOLA while I was there, quite frankly. And since the closest CVS is about three miles away, this was an excellent alternative.

Don't go to this place...I've never had such a negative experience in my life. Everything's over priced. I was desperate and it was close to my hotel so I was willing to pay extra for convenience but the cashier/owner/foreigner took my pulling loose cash out of my pocket and placing it on the counter as a rude gesture and insulted me tremendously. You sir, are a dick!

u know the prices are overblown when u can find a bar within blocks that sells six individual beers (at bar prices) cheaper than the cajun markets' retail six packs. and by cheaper, i mean almost half as much. to drink beer at a bar. and being new orleans, nobody's saying u have to drink it there either. take it with u.
