The restaurant is beautiful. The atmosphere is very nice. The service was beyond terrible. When we walked in, no one greeted us. The girl was just standing there behind a hutch or some sort of serving stand. They don't have a traditional hostess station. She finally addressed us and sat us down in her section. It took 10 minutes for her to come & take our drink and food order. We were there for breakfast. It took over 30 minutes for our food to come out. We had french toast and an order of pancakes. The french toast was raw inside so I had to send it back. It came back out 20 minutes later and was burned on the outside but still raw inside. The waitress never came back. We didn't get a refill on drinks. She didn't come to see if the french toast was okay the 2nd time around. I just didn't eat. I had to go find her to request the check. She was rude & not at all concerned that the food was undercooked. She didn't seem to want to be there and didn't have any customer service skills.

We went to Cafe Normandie for Reveillion. We have been to a few different ones over the years and this one ranks as one of the best! Every course was delicious and they gave us ample time between courses. That can be an issue for my family, but it wasn't there. The cocktails were great and we had two lovely servers. It was pretty inside and the chairs were comfortable. We will definitely go back! My favorite of the courses was the red snapper. It was truly amazing!

My husband and I took a break from the WWII Museum and ate lunch at Cafe Normandie, located in the Higgins Hotel across the street. The hotel decor is fun and retro.I ordered the Steak au Poivre burger, which was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. My husband ordered the Redfish sandwich, which was also delicious. The sauces that came on each sandwich gave them a great flavor boost. The both came with fries. Our server Avery was friendly and gave us great service. We both would come back again and even order the same sandwiches again.

Can be found inside the Higgins hotel across from the World War II museum. Most likely don't need to call ahead as we seated it right away, unaware, if it's only for hotel guests but I'm sure they wouldn't turn away a buying customer . Huge portion sizes enough to be shared. Great and fast service, the prices are 4 to 5 dollars different than room service if ordered at restaurant. Highly recommend the granola yogurt bowl (not pictured) but well worth the price for the portion. The pancakes had a light crusted topping which made them unique and tasteful. You can charge the bill to your room or a card. This is our go to hidden gem when staying in New Orleans.

The food was decent and the person who seated us was very polite and respectful. He was a bit quiet which is totally normal. The place was mostly empty and it was breakfast time which was strange. But overall we enjoyed our experience we are staying here for a week so we might eat here again.

Staying at the hotel this restaurant is apart of and absolutely hated the food at the conference I attended so I don't care I paid $30 for wings and shrimp cocktail, it was tasty (the wings are a mild sweet chili but they do have buffalo sauce available). Very friendly service and a very cute comfy place to grab a meal.

This shop is convenient. I ordered a pastry. Even after warming it, it was hard and dry. The display looks good but the quality lacking. I also had tea which is a tea bag in hot water. I liked this company they feature for tea. They also have a 12pm popcorn display which is hit or miss. Sometimes it's popped and other days the machine is off. One worker says it's free and another says it cost. The shop is cute with nice items to buy.

Food is decent but not up to par with other New Orleans hotels but the service is absolutely horrible. 1 hour 15 minutes from ordering to when food comes out. I ordered the lobster bisque as an appetizer and it had a film like had sat under a warming lamp. The waitress never check on us.

They didn't have the ingredients to make the drink we ordered so they gave us free drinks instead. The meal was really really good. Our waitress was excellent. She was attentive but not intrusive. The ambience of the restaurant was really nice.
