Busy place but Service is fast, restaurant is old but clean, food is satisfying for an easy lunch!

Cafe Lola is an excellent lunch hub if you're in the mood for sandwiches or salads. They have chips and salsa which add a nice accompaniment. I recommend.

Recently visited here for lunch with my wife after having it on my bookmarks for a few years. When I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who promptly took my order. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and my wife ordered the crab cake sandwich, both of which came with tortilla chips. The chicken Caesar wrap was not very good at all. The dressing tasted like a low fat dressing, the chicken was dry and the croutons were soggy. The crab cake sandwich wasn't bad as it had good flavor and was fresh, but the bun was dry. The chips were fresh, but desperately needed salt.

This spot always brings me back to my childhood when my mom would bring me a crab cake sandwich with tortilla chips. I had to give it a try again since it had been so long. The crab cake sandwich is still the same! The flavor is phenomenal and the tortilla chips are still very delicious with just the perfect amount of salt. I also tried the south of the burger. I was slightly disappointed to find that the patty was unseasoned. Sadly, I couldn't even taste the cheese. The flavoring from the jalapeños (I could of used a bit more of those), sour cream, and salsa helped make this burger edible. I may tread lightly on getting another burger here though. My favorite thing about Lola's is that service is so fast and friendly even when its packed. The lady at the counter greets you as soon as you come in and always ask if everything was ok afterwards. Got to love that southern hospitality! Next time I will get their signature bisque with the chips to try again.

I didn't want to drive to get food for lunch so the nurse at the hospital recommended this place to grab food which is a walking distance so it all worked out. I ordered the crab cakes salad. The crab cakes was a good size portion and was so good and tasty with a good amount of seasoning. My only complaint about my salad was that the sauce that came with it was not enough. My lunch buddies had a grill shrimp wrap with chips, crab cakes sandwich with chips and salsa and another had a chicken salad. They all enjoy their food also.

Lovely place to have lunch and the food is delicious. Gotta recommend the crab cake sandwich, it is BOMB!! The outside can be deceiving but it's actually a big spacious restaurant with plenty of seating and even outdoor seating in the corridor.

I've heard nothing but wonderful things about this place. My mom and her coworkers eat here often so I decided to give it a try today. This place is adorable on the inside and everyone is very friendly here. There are so many great choices on the menu to choose from. Today I got the grilled shrimp wrap and the chips and salsa. Everything was better than I expected. The shrimp were the perfect size and had the boiled flavor tase of it. The salsa was absolutely perfect with just the right amount of spices and very fresh. My mom got the grilled chicken cob salad and that too looked so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

I had high hopes for the restaurant based on its reputation, but unfortunately, the grilled shrimp po'boy didn't meet my expectations. The flavors were bland, it had ten shrimp, and the bread was hard and falling apart. The side fresh fruit was an apple. The picture on the menu was deceiving. I hate being negative, but I hoped for a better takeout experience. I. Very disappointed waste of $13.00 Claire A

Nothing special, practically an overpriced mom and pop restaurant that has nothing to help distinguish itself from other places. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap with onions and peppers and first bite was alright, then the quality dropped. Not saying it is, but, the chicken tasted like a freezer bag of Tyson ready-to-eat grilled chicken strips that were thawed and heated up. I also got the guacamole for my tortilla chips and it just didn't taste right. It wasn't bad, but it was slightly off. The food cost me ~$16 before tip, and I could've easily cooked better for less. Might return just to try other things out and give this place a second chance, however, I am not impressed thus far
