I heard the burgers were great here. Came for lunch, pretty full dining area. Sat in the bar area at a table. Ordered a burger, fries well done, and a side salad. Soon, the salad came... I asked the server to make sure the fries were well done, she said she told the kitchen. The burger and fries came (a different server), of course the fries, white and cold. I asked her to take them and please get well done fries. Very polite, no problem. Got me a second plate to put the burger on. I picked up the burger, and between the meat juices and lot o mayo... the bottom bun had disintegrated. Ended up using a knife and fork for the burger. The fries came back perfect. I experience sending fries back 80% of the time. Don't know why restaurants can't do it right the first time. Anyway, nice place, servers are friendly and polite. Food is OK.

Can't go wrong with RB&R here!! I found Cafe 615 a few years ago and decided to try it in a whim. I was very happy with the food quality and taste and the staff are very friendly too. If you sit in the bar area there are high tables, but there is also a dining room area if you are with a group. They haven't had the chargrilled oysters lately, but whenever they do they are a home run! Check these guys out on Monday

This is a jewel of a restaurant in old Gretna. Last night I took some overseas visitors who eat internationally in the best restaurants. We had the stuffed fish, crawfish etouffee, and tuna salad. The restaurant was full of locals, and my guests were very impressed with the food. I like to take my out-of-town guests to share with them the local flavors. This is one of the best.

Food was ok, but a bit pricey. I paid $24 for a cup of gumbo and a hamburger with fries. The fries were crinkle style and soggy, and had no salt or seasoning. The burger was good, pretty big. The chicken sausage gumbo was ok. Overall, nothing special and overpriced. On the plus, the staff was great and very friendly.
