James M. "Can't say enough good things about MoPho - an excellent example of fusing Southern and Asian food styles to create something unique and delicious. The table tried several dishes, and all were excellent: the Hangover Pho ($17), Shrimp and Grits ($21), Crispy Chicken Vindaloo Sandwich ($17), and the Glazed Pork Belly Bowl ($16). You will be most happy with any of these. We also tried two buns, the Creole Tomato Bun ($10) and the Brisket Buns ($11). Delicious, and the Brisket was amazing. Service was friendly, attentive and fast (Thank You, Dorothy, Great Job!). The restaurant was clean, modern, casual and comfortable, with indoor and outdoor / patio seating. Restrooms were clean and stocked. Overall, A greafun and relaxing Dining Experience. Five well-deserved Stars."

Tiffany F. "This place is awesome!! My husband wanted to try their Spicy Beef Pho so we came while our son was out with grandma at the parade route. We started with the $7.50 Bacon and Cream Cheese Wontons which were tasty - not loaded with bacon but just enough to get that salty kick. I was especially happy because the whole goal for food today was to get something I wanted (which was more breakfast than anything) and to get what my hubby wanted (which was more lunch since he's not a big breakfast guy.) THIS IS THE ONLY VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT that I've EVER SEEN with chicken and waffles AND steak and eggs on their menu!! So this was perfect for us!! The steak was thin and in a sweet glazey sauce, came with onions and a large amount of cilantro on top. The eggs with that was totally worth the $16 price tag. It came with a loaf of French Bread that I couldn't even touch cuz I was already full from eating everything else. I also ordered a Thai Tea which they actually make in Boba Tea style. I wasn't used to that so I tried to drink the Boba Tea but ended up asking them to remake it without the Boba and they did with no hesitation so the service was great. It has a cute bar area with 2 TVs and a full bar with a wine wall rack full of wine on the corner. We got there at the right time because all these patrons with their cute kiddies started coming in for lunch so they are kid friendly. Will definitely be back!!"

Dawn M. "I read the reviews and was a little worried. But I had a truly great dining experience when I visited Pho Michael. I was later than expected getting to New Orleans so I was hungry. Once I got settled in, I looked at Yelp for a recommendation to eat. I was near so many great places to dine but Pho Michael won, despite the negative reviews. I was greeted warmly when I entered and allowed to pick where I sat. The feel inside was interesting, as Michael Jackson was playing but the decor reminded me of an Asian restaurant. It was clean though. I ordered a sweet tea which they add a sweetener when you order it. I won't get this again. I ordered the spring rolls with shrimp, which many reviews called them small. These rolls were so big they could almost serve as an entree. They tasted so fresh and the peanut sauce accompanied them well. For my main dish, I ordered the pho with filet mignon. It's one of their popular dishes so I figured it would be okay. When they placed a steaming hot bowl of pho in front of me, I knew I had a made a solid decision. I added a tad of hoisin sauce along with the sprouts, basil and jalapeños. The beef broth was sooooooo good as well. Only regret I had was a smaller portion wasn't offered. I ordered the smallest size available but it was so much. I tried to eat it all but couldn't lol. Service was top notch, as my server and another gentleman checked on me but didn't hover. This is a place I would visit again no matter where in New Orleans I stay."

Service is good and the restaurant is always clean and the parking lot is easy to navigate. Accessibility for those in wheelchairs is also good."

They have a nice outdoor dining space and the inside is spacious.I sat at the bar. It was a dimly lit and quiet. I settled in and ordered the spring rolls and the pho ga. The spring rolls came out right away and they were fantastic! The pho didn't come out FOR A WHILE. The waitress was very apologetic which I appreciated but it definitely put a damper on the overall experience. When the pho came out it was a great portion. It was good pho and well worth the price. The cucumber I got on the first veggie roll I had was bitter, but they checked their supply, cut a fresh cucumber, and remade it no problem. You can see them as they make the food. The thai tea was so delicious and had that lovely warm spice flavor, it was perfect for the hot day. It's tucked away at the end of the strip near Walmart. As we entered we were greeted by the cashier who seemed to be running the restaurant. There were two other tables occupied which seemed like regulars. The restaurant was a decent size and was clean. I ordered voodoo eggrolls as an appetizer. It consisted of crawfish, sausage, and cheese. There wasn't much filling in the eggrolls. I wasn't a fan of the taste either. The cashier later asked how did I like the eggrolls and mentioned that they were a new item. It tasted like maybe mint was thrown in it. My mom and I both ordered brisket pho. The broth was bland and we didn't much brisket. The service was good but the food was just okay."

But, the food - the food! The crab Rangoon has crab and comes with a delicious mild chili sauce, which is far superior to the sweet and sour sauce most places provide. The big highlight is the grilled shrimp summer rolls. They are filled with fresh cucumber, carrot, vermicelli, and fresh grilled shrimp with a perfectly balanced bit of fresh mint. It comes with a lightly spicy peanut sauce. Might want to ask for extra peanut sauce."

Every dish on the menu is mouthwatering, but I can't resist starting with the Nudo Fusion wings--currently ranking in my top 5 favorite wings of all time. I also always stick with the Shaken Beef, which never fails to impress with its bold and savory flavors. The Spicy Beef Pho is an indulgent side that I usually enjoy by the spoonful, and it's a testament to the culinary magic happening in their kitchen. The service here is always exemplary--patient, attentive, and accommodating, especially when I need to take my soup to go. (A process I admittedly struggle with!) A heads-up: the restaurant is cozy and tucked away in a parking lot with limited spaces, so plan accordingly."

Soy sauce for me is great but this allows for a less salty alternative. I got the chicken low mein and it was cooked nicely a few pieces of chicken were chewy but over all the dish had good flavor and texture.I am not a mushroom person so next time I will need to remember to ask for no mushroom. There are lunch specials, but we didn't know that only 4 pieces of sushi came with the lunch special. The lunch special was sushi with soup or salad and it was $13. We both decided on something else since we wanted more than 4 pieces of sushi. I got the margarita roll with a salad and my friend got the bento box. My roll was amazing and had 8 pieces... I ate the entire roll and was pretty full after. My salad was soaked in dressing, so it was eh ok. My friend asked for more dressing and there is a .50 cent upcharge! His bento box looked good, but it was a bunch of raw fish on there so that's not my cup of tea. My one roll was $18 for lunch, which I thought was expensive. We also got the Special Pad That which came with Chicken, Steak and Shrimp. Very good and I actually appreciated it not being too saucy. You can choose to add more sauces and there were a ton to chose from. Lastly we went with the Beef Meatball Pho. Meatballs were a little too firm for my liking and different from other Pho spots I have visited. Broth was delish though and you get a TON of bean sprouts, basil and noddles on the side.
