"We were visiting from Oregon and my mom wanted some good southern food. This place is highly rated so we decided to check it out. We were starving so we decided to start with the appetizer of fried mushrooms. Then I ordered a club sandwich and my mom got the catfish with gumbo and hush puppies (doesn't get any more southern than that!). We decided to share the bread pudding with bourbon sauce for dessert. Everything was delicious! Our server was very friendly and food came out quickly!"
"Great selection of beers. Weird art lining the ceiling. Strangely bright for a bar. Saw one of the largest cockroaches scurry across the floor."

"VERY consistent n delicious! I love the grilled shrimp bacon wrap and it's big enough for 2! The crawfish etouffee is also enough to share! My boys like it because it comes topped with fried crawfish! They have the best sweet potato fries! The service is friendly & we enjoy the bar area for a dinner lighting!"
"From the patrons making you feel welcome or the staff, you can't have a bad time here. Don't leave without eating. Loved the wings and the chili cheese fries!!!"
"I happened to stumble into this place while I was walking around, trying to find food since I barely ate all day. I was so happy I did because the food was phenomenal, as was the service. The gentleman behind the bar helped me to confirm which sandwich I wanted, despite the bar having a nice amount of people in it. This kind of attention to help the customer feel satisfied seems uncommon to me but it was so pleasantly refreshing.I got the spicy chicken Poboy sandwich and I devoured it. I even ended up coming back a couple of days later for more food to bring with me for my flight home. They were able to help me out with a food accommodation on my breakfast wrap - since I don't eat pig products, they substituted chicken for me. Everything was delicious! I will definitely come back here next time I'm in the area. I did notice that a lot of places have credit processing fees and "to-go" fees. So that's good to keep in mind."
"They do trivia, take home cup days, allow dog, have front and back patio, and plenty of TVs. It can get loud but the atmosphere is great when a big event or holiday comes. Giving it a 3 because I am not a fan of the noise level and they make you buy fries separate with a burger. I always have a reason so meet here but I never pick it as my first choice of bar."
"We tried Thai Kitchen for the first time last night, and we really enjoyed it! We each started with a summer roll, and it was nicely done with fresh veggies. My wife had the peanut chicken dish, and I had the shrimp cashew nut dinner. We enjoyed our respective dishes, which were properly seasoned and full of fresh veggies. Service was prompt and police, and the ambiance was delightfully local. We'll be back!"
"Everything about the bar is amazing. Fast service, friendly and best pressed sandwich's. Blerta is the owner, she is cutie pie. They are opening a new restaurant called P3."
"Dogs no longer welcome in dining rooms. Health code. They can come in with you to order your food, however! Also, they expanded their entire place, like doubled the patio and the bar! Amazing margaritas still."
"This is one of the more popular bars in Metairie. Usually 2-3 bartenders working at night. We usually come here once or twice a month after work as I work a few miles down the street. Food is good (we usually get a steak). Bartenders are usually busy and sometimes can take ahwile to get service. Swamp Room is still Swamp Room (popular, fun atmosphere, good food)."
"Great food and friendly staff. One of those hidden foodie jewels. Easy parking. The steak is well seasoned and prepared to order. ."
"Cool spot to check out some college football. Especially Tulane games, it's the spot you'll see all the fans from other states before the game."

The French dip sandwich was delicious and the waitress was very friendly and recommended items off the menu. The smoked tuna was also a great dish to start with. The ambiance was family friendly and not loud.

Definitely a different way of doing things, but one of the best things we ate during our trip. On our last full day in town, we dragged ourselves out of bed and went looking for food near our airbnb. After something of a strange journey and turning away from a few other spots, we ended up at Cooter Brown's. I think the doorman should've explained as we walked in, but you can order drinks at the bar and then go to the kitchen to order food. There was a patio as well as a smoking section (?!) so we tucked ourselves in a booth in a back corner. My boyfriend had a brunch burger, which he reported was good. I ordered the gator Po'Boy and fries were separate so we split a basket. I'd never tried gator or a Po'Boy, but it was delicious! Certainly felt like a divey local spot, but that's where we're most at home anyway lol.

Standard neighborhood bar from what I could tell. I wanted french fries and to sit in public while catching up with a friend, and this checked those boxes. The small cheese fries is perfect to split between two people who have the munchies, and it was decently priced at under $5. Wish I could have tried the garlic parm fries and the debris fries, so I guess I have to come back some time! Beer was also cheap. The space is large with multiple different areas spread over inside and a big heated patio. The music was odd and kept getting progressively louder and changing songs in the middle... maybe TouchTunes was competing with something else idk. It finally got loud enough that it was our sign to leave. Overall, I was pleased and think it would be fun to have a group of friends here.

This place will stick with me till the day I die. New Orleans has so many bars but this one is one of my favorite spots. Great beer selections, we were a group of 14 and got our food very quickly. The amount tvs in this place is insane, there has to be close to 15 tvs.The bartender was great, and overall it's one of the nicer bars in that general area, very updated and somewhat modern. Still get the "dive bar" feel though. The Philly cheesesteak was one of the best things I have ever put into my mouth. It was so good I forgot to take a picture before I bit into that deliciousness. I will go back there again before I leave tomorrow.

An after work go to place for me! Great beer selection and on Wednesdays you can take your pint glass home with you. I also love that this bar allows you to bring in your dogs!Almost every time I come here I end up sitting outside. The patio is great and has lots of space, so you aren't on top of the table next to you. It's a very 'chill' vibe here with space heaters and a fireplace set up too. I got the chips and queso this time, and it was ok. I wish the queso was filled to the top of the bowl, and the chips were stale, but it was still somehow good! I like how they have a kitchen window, and a full menu of so many options!

I don't have pictures this time around but I ordered the shrimp fried rice and egg rolls and oh my goodness were they good!! One of the best shrimp fried rices I've had in a while! I ordered to-go order through Yelp which was just convenient for me, but it is cheaper to use their restaurants own ordering site (although you have to make an account with them, which ultimately is why I chose to pay the $4 extra since I already clearly have a Yelp account). The owner of the restaurant actually greeted us and told us we could save more using their online services as well which is always nice to hear when trying to save money. Overall, even though I didn't come here to eat, the customer service was great, being greeted almost immediately and we were quickly given our order. Will definitely be here again for the exact same order but also wanting to try more off their menu!

Great little locals place but all are welcome. Neat and clean, friendly bartender, very attentive too! I would recommend you popping in. While we didn't eat, the food looked and smelled great!

"I've known that this was my niece's favorite spot to get seasonal eggnog daiquiris so I decided to stop in and try some of their standard flavors for myself. And yes they do have a drive thru!I wandered in and was impressed with the amount of seating and there seemed to be several groups who were having their regular Saturday evening meetup in the shop. There is a pool table and the decent looking menu plus the space is no smoking... although there are tables outside for the smokers.I ordered 2 daiquiris to go, a chocolate strawberry and a mango pina colada. The server was great and friendly. Both daiquiris were yummy and they were inexpensive! Definitely stopping in again!"
"Hunter was a GREAT server! It's his 3rd day at Walk On. He was very attentive. I asked him if they happen to have any wet wipes, and he searched high and low, trying to find them and he was just very wonderful."
"I love to visit this place! It's so close by that I always keep this in mind while making food decisions. They have a peanut butter bacon burger that is so delicious!! My favorite type of burger since I've tried this one. The mile high burger is also a good burger to try but is very full. The strawberry smoothie was surprisingly delicious and very well made. Love this place! Try it!"
"I recently visited this restaurant for dinner on a Sunday evening, and it did not disappoint when it came to the food. The mozzarella logs were truly massive and perfectly fried, with a crispy golden crust that gave way to ooey-gooey cheese. These were easily the best mozzarella sticks I've had in a long time. The grownup grilled cheese was another highlight -- indulgent, cheesy, and full of flavor. It's clear the kitchen knows how to nail comfort food. The atmosphere was interactive as the game was playing on several screens, making it a great spot to unwind and hang out with friends. While the service could have been a little more attentive --we were never brought silverware or paper towels and had to get up to ask for some -- the overall experience was positive. If you're craving satisfying, generously portioned comfort food in a relaxed setting, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back for another round of those mozzarella logs!"
"It is in my very humble opinion that FAt Pats has THE best burgerrs in Lafayette, y'all CANT change my mind. This place is a sports bar and grill super casual, you can walk right in and pick where you want to sit. Staff is great and attentive welcomes you as soon and you walk in and presents menus. It's been a little while since ive ate at this fine establishment and was pleased to see that they nnow offer milkshakes. What to order? Y'all l, I kid you noT everything on tHe menu is a great choicee, but to keep in the theme of best burgers do yourself a favor and orderr a dang burger! My favorite is the mile high burger. What's on the burger? Delicious grilled onions and grilled peppe with yummy shredded pepper jack cheese. The burger cooked to perfection, juicy, ripe, delectable. The buns OMGOSHH THOSE BUNS. Buttery, sweet, savory.. jeezums... also you can have a side of either the classic crinkle cut fries OR their awesome sweet pOtatoe fries ORRRRR their to die for ONION RINGS. AnywayS, it hiTs a very Special artery aRoubd my heart and will aalways be the best."
"After traveling 10 hours from Norman, Oklahoma we decided to stop in and grab some dinner. We were finally greeted after 5 minutes with zero smiles, or enthusiasm but thankfully our waitress was super kind! Atmosphere: 10/10 They had a decent vibe. Good music, some fun little basketball shooter games my kids loved, and decently clean. Could use some friendlier faces. (Coming from a long time waitress myself) Food: 6/10 cheeseburger came without cheese, and the Louisiana platter could've used a few more shrimps, the kids pasta was the saving grace. Super good! Cold beer, decent food, and a good vibe. We'd swing through again if we're on this side of the world!"
"This place is getting demoted to an only come here to drink and not eat location for me. My last visit I ordered a turkey and cheese poboy dressed to go. I already know what you're thinking, why the hell would you order that? Well I wanted to try something different and I will never think like that again. It came without cheese (a turkey and cheese poboy without cheese?!?) or mayo and the turkey tasted weird. The food is just subpar. If you do come to eat order something easy like a shrimp poboy or baked potato."
"A place where there is a little for everyone, and the service was great! We had the following:NATCHITOCHES MEAT PIES - Five Original Natchitoches meat pies stuffed with beef and pork - you gotta love a Nachitoches meat pie!!DEBRIS FRIES - Philly steak, grilled onions & peppers, smothered in gravy & queso - messy, but so delicious!BIG PETE - world-famous half-pound signature burger. Served with Duke's mayo & fresh cut toppings with side of fries - talk about a burger! Add egg and bacon, and you are in heaven!CHICKEN FRIED STEAK - Thin cut breaded sirloin fried to perfection & smothered in country gravy with side of tater tots - well made, delicious, and the country gravy? to die for!Definitely a spot to check out!Check @eatinglafayette on Instagram and Facebook for more Lafayette food things!"
"3826 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70065If you google search this restaurant, it will show the former "Baja Nola" as permanently closed. Just for reference, this restaurant is called "Baja Nola Mexicajun," with the new address located above. If you are indecisive between Cajun or Mexican for lunch/dinner, then come to "Baja Nola Mexicajun!" They can serve you the best of both worlds! I wasn't able to try everything on their menu, but I do intend to go back to try other varieties of items on the menu! I also added the menu items to help you guys out!1. Oyster Sampler: Mexican Charoysters, Original Charoysters, and Baja Charoysters.2. Street Taco Chicken Tinga & Lengua (Cow Tongue)3. Birria Ramen: Handmade birria beef brothserved with ramen, 3 mexican cheese, cilantro, and onions. #Tonylameats #bajanolamexicajun #neworleansla #kennerla #mexicanfood #cajunfood #tacos #birriaramen #seafood"
"Vibe was amazing! My friend and I watched the Pelicans game! Ordered wings, fries & drinks! Wings were perfect & drinks I can tell made with love! Definitely strong! The staff were welcoming & service was amazing! I will definitely be back!!!! I'm thankful for a spot like this in the heart of New Orleans!!!Check them out for Happy Hour M-F"
"A hidden gem ! This food was so good we ordered it twice in one night ! It is also a bar but outdoor seating is available. The bartenders were very nice and friendly. I called and ordered ahead. I ordered the beef and one chicken. Each order comes with 3 tacos, sauce, elotes and various toppings. Now onto the delicious tasty make your mouth holler food! The combination of the melting cheese, tender beef and the dipping sauce was all to amazing. I didn't realize what I was missing out on with these tacos. The flavors were so tasty. I don't think I ever ate a taco so quickly . Forget the toppings you really don't need them. The corn also got a splash of the sauce and it set those flavors off too. The sweet corn and a sprinkle of cheese were just perfect. This will be my permanent taco Tuesday spot! They've for sure won me over. Prices are reasonable and worth it. Next time I'll try the street corn."
"Such a welcome addition to the area! I find myself recommending Fat Pat's often, especially this location just based on the patio, but there are many reasons to visit. It's local and supporting local is my thing, it's fun and lively and I personally cannot wait to catch a game here, the pick up process is fool proof and efficient and the burgers will knock your socks off guys. If bold is a taste description you're not afraid of, get a burger here. Any burger will do but the Mile High, the Bae and the Queso are all stellar. The chef here isn't afraid to use spices and that is a definite win! Spicy, bold, unique and always delicious, the burgers here are all stars. Allons, y'all!"
"Before you go, you need to be in the mindset that this is not exactly a dive bar but more of a low key bar. There are a lot of regulars, and if you are one you can appreciate that. Dogs are allowed and they have a great outdoor patio with water bowls for them. They also have an outdoor bar when it gets busy and sometimes they serve crawfish out there as well. During the week they have food and drink specials too. I've always experienced great customer service from the bartenders and I'd recommend checking them out if you're in the area."
"Since it is located next to F&M, I expected a very similar establishment, but Grit's was a tad more bearable. When I walked into Grit's, I knew I was in a better place. There was a very large area with seating and pool tables that was not crowded at all. It also had working air conditioning. This area would be the place to sit if you actually wanted to talk to the people you were with. The other half of the bar was the dance area. It was much darker and filled with gyrating intoxicated people. The crowd seemed a little older than F&M, but it was hard to guess ages when people were hammering back drinks and dancing to Juvenile's Back that Ass Up. While I can't recommend either bar, Grit's is definitely the lesser of two evils. If your friends insist, come here instead of F&M. Note: While at this bar I did experience on of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Without going into details, I offer this advice; drinking is no excuse for being a totally offensive shithead. My name is John, and I approve of this message."
"If you're in Marrero and looking for great food and an even better atmosphere, Fifteen 25 is the spot! The ambience is perfect--chic, cozy, and welcoming. The owner is super cool and makes you feel right at home. The food? Incredible. I tried the salmon bites and the Bang Bang Shrimp, and both were absolute standouts! They're seasoned to perfection and packed with flavor. Honestly, I couldn't resist snapping a picture before diving in.If you're looking for a place with delicious food and good vibes, look no further than Fifteen 25. I'll definitely be back!"
"I give 5 stars in these trying times. I walked in not expecting much at all but I have to say ... kudos to these guys n gals!! Don't go there with the "Bar Food" mentality because you'll be as surprised as I am. My steak was cooked to perfection with an awesome flavor, not to mention all the beautiful sides that came with it. The Spotlight was spot on! Oh and let's not forget the staff, super duper friendly and consistently checking me! A+ rating in my book."
"I am staying here at holiday inn express teaching in the area. Wanted to eat somewhere close and watch some football and work on the computer. Sports Pub&Grill was perfect. Atmosphere and food were fantastic, my server, Kaitlynn was outstanding. She worked her ass off for everyone seated and did not slow down. I asked for recommendations off then menu and was not disappointed with to soup special and chicken sandwich! Fantastic experience and I will be back!"
"I was pleasantly surprised by this small restaurant/pub. My friend who is 90 and picky as hell got the chicken fried steak. She ate it all! I haven't seen her eat all her lunch in years. I got the hamburger and it was delicious. Service was really great. Will go back"
"Restaurant is large and clean. Good amount of seating with lots of televisions. Service was quick and waiters are kind. The food is good with a vast selection. I had the hush puppies and they were delicious. Grown-up grilled cheese was great as well. More expensive than I expected. Would return."
"Location was easy walking distance from Caesars Casino. I came here on a Sunday to watch the Texans. The sports bar is huge and the bar itself has plenty of seating. There is also stadium seating with a large ceiling to floor TV! I believe there is a minimum purchase tab of $100 to sit there and watch your game. You may request your team's game on tv at the bar and they will tune it in for you!I sat at the bar and had the best wings in New Orleans which were buffalo hot. Had a few Abita drafts to wash them down. Service was decent and adequate. Decor of course revolves around the Manning family whom are football royalty. Will definitely stop by again in the future when in town."
