"Came to NOLA for an extended fun birthday weekend. We couldn't find this place, drove around the block to find out that it literally was behind us when we parked! Nathan was our bartender. Great service! Mac made our food. OMG...Soooo good! The seasoning on the sweet potato fries was so good that I didn't put any ketchup on them. The sample with poutin balls, jalepeño poppers, hot wings, and mozzarella sticks. We ended with the alligator poboy. Again, it's so flavorful! This is a small, dark bar. It's cozy and not pretentious at all. Just what our weary selves needed. Relax, eat, drink, and chat with folks at the bar.Definitely check it out."

Luggage and all. The bartender said she was also from Pittsburgh. We chatted briefly. Ordered a draft each and sat down. The beers were good. The selection was really great for drafts and bottles. The drafts change frequently, the lines are clean and it shows!This reminds me of an old english pub back here in the 'Burgh. I really enjoyed myself.We ordered some food, but it was not very good. Kind of "restaurant depot" basic, freezer into the fryer type. Pop in a for a beer. Eat elsewhere."

"I have been here several times, but only for drinks. The beer selection is impressive, Guinness on draft included, and the atmosphere is a nice low-key alternative to Oak Wine bar, which can be loud and frenetic at times. The service here is nice, not overly friendly. My friend and I made the mistake of ordering martinis here - they were made appropriately, but served in a small glass that wasn't filled anywhere close to the top. We thought it was a fluke and ordered another round- nope. Same 3/4 full tiny glass. I suppose we shouldn't have ordered martinis at a beer bar, but they are fully stocked. I'll be back but am never ordering a cocktail again."

"I am staying here at holiday inn express teaching in the area. Wanted to eat somewhere close and watch some football and work on the computer. Sports Pub&Grill was perfect. Atmosphere and food were fantastic, my server, Kaitlynn was outstanding. She worked her ass off for everyone seated and did not slow down. I asked for recommendations off then menu and was not disappointed with to soup special and chicken sandwich! Fantastic experience and I will be back!"
