"I really really enjoyed Paladar 511! Everything we ate was delicious! The food was hot, tasty, and brought out quickly! I got a breakfast cake and tried the farm egg pizza! Soooo good! The drinks were amazing! The service was top tier. Our server was so kind and attentive , but other servers made sure to check on us as well. I love how bright and open the space is! I came for brunch which had a limited menu but I can't wait to return for dinner!"
"Although this is a pizza restaurant, their salads are next level. I love a good salad and I know quality, so when I see a place that is not a salad specialty restaurant and they still take their salad dishes seriously I just love that. This place used to have a Greek salad that was amazing but they change the menu around periodically I was told, so I had to get their Caesar salad. They put small shreds of red onion, fresh Parmesan, House made croutons and House made Caesar over Romain lettuce that is perfect. That salad is $11.50 but it's worth every penny because it's a big portion. Now to the pizza, I tried a new kind, which is their Italian special, just a slice, and it was great. Perfect temperature not too hot not too cold. The staff are very friendly and the food came out quick and they have a cute little outdoor area that I didn't know existed where you can sit and get some fresh air if you want. This place is definitely worth every dollar. I will always come back when I'm in the area."

"Pretty tasty pizza. They are really nice and the pie came out relatively quickly. It's clean and can tell that they take pride in keeping in clean in here. I would definitely come back here."
"Louisiana Pizza Kitchen is located not far from Frenchmen Street. You can make a reservation through OpenTable and they are able to accommodate large groups. The service was great. Our server was very attentive and she managed our large group well! The food was just fine. Nothing was really special or outstanding. I didn't love the appetizers and the pizza's thin crust just wasn't my style. Overall, it was a good spot to be able to accommodate our group, but nothing special."
"Loved this place. The pizza was amazing and not expensive at all. The service was quick and they were really nice. There's a seating area not much room but the atmosphere was cool. You should give this place a try you won't be disappointed at all."
"Surprisingly good! Upped my standard for pizza and oysters now. We both will return soon."
"Great pizza bar service from super friendly staff. Really nice slice! Next time I'm ordering the pesto drizzled pie!"
"Really wish we had more time to have a full meal here. This place is modest on the outside with a nice set up. I tried the chopped salad earlier, which was very good. Take a break from the heat and come chill!"
"Turtle Bay always greets us awesomely for our annual Very Bad Santa Crawl. We have tons of fun and this is one of our favorite spots. They have great drinks and awesome food. We tend to spend more time at this location than any of our other stops. Thanks to the staff for having all of us and putting up with our holiday shenanigans!!"
"This was the first restaurant we ate at during the most recent trip to Louisiana. We stayed in Gretna and got pedicures in Harvey and was referred to this restaurant by a customer and one the nail artist. We walked in to order takeout, and it was a busy bustling restaurant. Plenty of tables full, plenty of customers waiting on orders. Phone ringing - all good signs. We ordered the seafood gumbo, seafood sampler, and Voodoo crawfish rolls. Every single item was delicious. I especially enjoyed the crawfish rolls, which were hot, and I couldn't wait to get back to the hotel to bite one open to taste- that occurred in the car, as you can see in the picture. I didn't care for the mustard sauce that accompanied the roll, but honestly, you didn't need it. However, a spicy chill sauce would work. My husband said that the gumbo was too seafoody, but he isn't the seafood fan, and I thought the gumbo was good. A great asset to the West Bank!"
"We ordered two pizzas here, a deep dish and a thin crust and both were amazing. The thin crust was not really as thin as I was expecting but the taste didn't disappoint. We got a thunderbird and Mr Hughes and were very happy with both choices. I did wait a little initially when I came to pick it up (I called it in ahead of time so I wouldn't have to wait) but the servers were also nice so it was fine. Will return!"
"Best only I have had in NOLA.the soft shell crab and their signature poboys were amazing. And their onion straws/rings were amazing too!"

Outside of the typical fare you may find in the French Quarter, there is a wonderful Italian restaurant called Paladar 511 that is hip and modern, with nectarous cuisine that will linger on your palate for a good time afterward. The restaurant itself has both a ground floor where most of the dining tables are located with an open kitchen to watch the action and a wine cellar in the back. The mezzanine floor has a private dining area for parties that would like to have the space to themselves for fun and relaxed experiences. If you site at the bar, you get to experience watching the kitchen staff preparing all the meals, which is pretty cool. Cocktail-wise, I enjoyed the Bad Mr Jive that was rye-based with sweet vermouth, Amaro, and Apertif, which was more Manhattan themed with a twist. For dinner, I savored every bite of the pork saltimbocca that was glorious with the polenta, grilled broccolini, and capers. The marsala jus complimented so delightfully. It was one of my favorite meals in New Orleans.

Review: Pizza Delicious - A Bywater GemPizza Delicious is a standout local pizzeria nestled on Piety Street in the Bywater neighborhood. This beloved spot attracts a diverse crowd--locals, college students, and even families with young children--all drawn in by their giant, flavorful pies.On my first visit, I tried the Margherita pizza, which was expertly baked with a crisp, well-balanced undercarriage and just the right amount of crunch. The light touch of oil kept the flavors clean, allowing the fresh ingredients to shine.Beyond the pizza, the welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. The staff was friendly, and it was clear this is a neighborhood staple, as they greeted many customers by name. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, reinforcing the care they put into both their food and service. If you're looking to support a great local business while enjoying some of the best pizza in town, Pizza Delicious is a must-visit.

Fantastic pizza, great service, and some really good ice cold draft beers. Sometimes you just need a break from red beans and jambalaya. Although they have that here too!Add: met the owner today (Chet) and found out he's been at this location for 27 years! This afternoon I had the crab beignets and they were amazing. Also, the place is decorated with some beautiful local art too. This is a definite stop you have to make!!

Ever on Bourbon and need a spot late? Go HERE! Pizzas great and they usually have 4 types. We were brought here by some locals and it was perfect after a night drinking. My friend and I decided to get more of it to test if it was as good as we remembered but didn't want to walk...THEY DELIVER! They come on a bike and it estimated 45min but we got it in 25...and it was still just as good. Staff is nice for having to deal with the bourbon craziness during Mardi Gras. Overall- would go again if we're ever back in New Orleans.

Here's a review for That's Amore Pizzeria:The service at That's Amore Pizzeria is unbelievable! From the moment I walked in, they made me feel so welcome. I'm on a low-carb diet, so I've been sticking to their Italian salad and meatballs, and let me tell you, these are some of the best meatballs I've ever had in my life! They're perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Italian salad is fresh and pairs great with the meatballs. The prices are fantastic, especially considering the quality you get here. The atmosphere is down-to-earth but still professional, making it a great spot for any occasion. Highly recommend!

Fun local tap room off the Garden District. Local blonde was ok, no IPAs on tap when I was there though. Modest wine and spirits available is nice.

After the parade this weekend we decided to walk over to Domenica. I have been to the downtown location multiple times, but this was my first time eating at the uptown location. The pizza is amazing a hit, so I went with the pepperoni pizza. However, I saw they had king cakes knots on their dessert menu. Mardi Gras season so I had to try them, and I'm so happy I did! They came out hot, they were the perfect ratio of crispy ends and soft center! . The icing on time gave it the that sweetness. Had leftovers and ate them with coffee this morning. Go for the great pizza, and make sure to get the dessert!

"We hosted a professional social event at Baroness on 11/23/24 and it was OUTSTANDING from top to bottom. The venue was very accommodating and welcoming, the food was excellent, and they created signature drinks that were delicious! The arrangement of the space in different rooms also created great opportunities for conversation. Next time we're in NOLA, we will definitely book Baroness for our event."
"Delicious food! Specials of the day!Red Fish and stuffed cannoli.Service was good ( very busy too)Carla did an amazing job with our service and specialty drinks! We enjoyed our meal thoroughly."
"Food is always fresh here. The caesar salad was sooooo delicious. I cleaned the bowl, which was chilled! Love it!! I ordered the paneed veal with fettuccine and asparagus which was also fresh. Complimentary bread and dipping oil sealed the deal with a glass of malbec. Chefs kiss. Small but a clean space.....cool place to stop by for lunch or dinner."
"Loved loved my experience here! Came here on a Saturday night and it was pretty packed . Make sure you make reservations if not you will be waiting, especially on busy nights. So we started with the fried mozzarella . I also got the cannelloni and then my friend got the shrimp pasta. So so good. Loved the atmosphere. Our waitress Lacey was amazing. She was attentive, kind and great with her recommendations. If you're looking for Italian this is the spot to check out ."
"Excellent food and service. This was our second visit to Ancora and will surely not be my last. My wife and I had the Calabrian sausage reponata and house salad contorini (starters). Sausage made in-house was spicy and tasty. Salad was well dressed, fresh, and dressing was tangy. We also shared the Bianca (white pizza). Excellent crust, good chew, toppings made it salty and occasionally sweet. What a wonderful contrast! On our precious visit we thoroughly enjoyed the meatball appetizer (scrumptious!) and a pizza special. I don't recall what it was, only that we both enjoyed it. The pizzas are small, so you can share some of their great appetizers and the pizza. The dining g room is spacious and high ceiling, but can be a bit noisy due to the hard surfaces. I highly recommend Ancora. I can't wait to go back and try their crab gnocchi!"
"The pizza here is exceptional... owner is doing something right for sure. Nola is not really known for its pizza game but this place without a doubt makes the cut. Service has been good and atmosphere is easy. (Wings are hittin' too!)"
"Great choice on a date dinner with my friend! Delicious food and great service by brittany!"
"I happened to stumble into this place while I was walking around, trying to find food since I barely ate all day. I was so happy I did because the food was phenomenal, as was the service. The gentleman behind the bar helped me to confirm which sandwich I wanted, despite the bar having a nice amount of people in it. This kind of attention to help the customer feel satisfied seems uncommon to me but it was so pleasantly refreshing.I got the spicy chicken Poboy sandwich and I devoured it. I even ended up coming back a couple of days later for more food to bring with me for my flight home. They were able to help me out with a food accommodation on my breakfast wrap - since I don't eat pig products, they substituted chicken for me. Everything was delicious! I will definitely come back here next time I'm in the area. I did notice that a lot of places have credit processing fees and "to-go" fees. So that's good to keep in mind."
"I got the Meaux Jeaux pizza and it was very good. It is located at one end of a tiny strip mall. If you are dining in, seat yourself. No reusable utensils, beverages come in the original packaging."
"Because lunch, dinner, and a snack during the daytime is never enough for us, we ordered from Fresco late night during our stay in NOLA to top everything off for the day. I could personally order pizza every day for a year probably but my GF is more civilized and on this particular occasion we decided to go the pasta route. We ordered pesto pasta, a veggie wrap, and spinach and feta triangles. The pesto was tasty with a touch of cream in the sauce. The pasta could have been more al dente but ultimately I can never go wrong with pesto. Scattered roasted red pepper strips added some variety. I adored the veggie wrap with hummus, roasted red peppers, roasted eggplant, baby spinach, kalamata olives, and feta which with the sundried tomato mayo was decadent and creamy and paired perfectly surrounded by a soft and warm pita. GF for some reason wasn't a fan which escapes my comprehension. I was way too stuffed to finish the whole thing which is a big regret for me. The actual best dish of the meal was their spinach and feta triangles with sauteed spinach and feta cheese stuffed into phyllo dough. The filling was DELICIOUS and the dough was perfectly crisp. I would order these regularly if I lived in the area. Very solid late night delivery spot."
"This is a great local spot right off the highway to grab food on the way home. We also do a to go order and it doesn't take long, staff is friendly. The pizza is great. The pastas are okay but are a bit on the greasy side. My fav here is the Cesar salad add grilled chicken. They recently started cutting my chicken into cubes which I'm not a huge fan of, I'd rather it whole or in the strips but the salad is good. I recommend texted dressing. The Greek salad is also really tasty."
"Well, now I've been back a couple times and I've had it delivered and I have to say my waitress last night seemed not very knowledgeable. (we thought we go back and sit one more time.) Last night dinner was just bad. The sauce on the pasta was so sweet. I swear to God it tasted like somebody just dumped sugar on top of my plate. The medallions were great. The chicken was OK but the sauce I don't know if I'll ever eat that again. The other thing the waitress told me that she knows that her sweet tea is not good so when I ordered sweet tea and received it and it wasn't sweet tea and her only remedy was to offer me a different drink. Needless to say I was a little disappointed, all night was OK but dinner was let's just say not so much.We love the ambience except last night ball game was pretty loud and intrusive for their not being that many customers there will try again, but it may not be soon."
"02NOV24 ~ Their pizza is good, better than most of the delivery & pick up pizza places, to NOT name names, but you pay more. You get what you pay for. You do stand in line in order to order at the counter. They give you a cup at the counter & the drinks are self-service. I do not like that they have the 'tip' cup, I guess it is for service that is NOT given. It is all self-service! The tables are small, so they have stands, about 10" high, that the pizza sits on top of. This is an accident waiting to happen. You do go to a pizza place to eat pizza, and the pizza is good, though I would not normally go out of my way to go eat at Fat Boys. ~ They share the store with 'Savvy Sliders'.Parking: Lots of free parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids will enjoy the place, and it is 'family friendly'.Wheelchair accessibility: My wife is in a wheelchair, so this is near & dear to my heart. They have 'Van Accessible' parking, but too many people do not understand that they should leave the spot to the left of the hash marks open."
"Everything from the salad, to the pizza, to the staff are exceedingly fabulous. A group of 3 of us came in for lunch and were promptly greeted and seated by some of the most friendly folks you could come across (I do so love NOLA Hospitality!).We perused the menu, never feeling rushed, and decided on sharing a pizza and salad. Everything was delicious - the salad was tasty and fresh, pizza was perfectly cooked and delicious. This is absolutely one of my "every time we are in New Orleans, we must stop here" spots."
"I always purchase muffulattes for my son, when I'm in Nola and bring them back to him in San Clemente, CA. He loves them - everything they fix is awesome - they will pack them for shipping with the olive salad on the side - always friendly and help -"
"This is a go to late night dive bar on Magazine St. This bar is two floors and has ample seating, my favorite part is the plentiful outdoor seating upstairs on the balcony (overlooks Magazine st). I also newly discovered this spot to watch Saints games at, they have several huge tv screens both downstairs and upstairs to watch the game and a fun local crowd to cheer on our boys with! The pool table is also a nice touch for commercial breaks. The reason I didn't give this bar the full stars; however, is that it does have a dark interior and is dingy inside. Its a dive bar and that's what you get. Additionally, the bartender was outside smoking cigarettes in between customers for much of my time there last weekend making it harder to order drinks quickly. In all, a go to bar that I always look forward to hanging out at. The bouncer also checks vaccine cards as you walk in"
"This is a delicious pie. The Large - with 8 giant slices- is so good. The cheese blend they use is so good. And the crust is chewy with to the edges nice and crispy. A really good, local, pizza shop."
"Small, fast ,professional , great food and hospitality. Clearly the neighborhood loves it."
"Francesca's by Katie's was excellent. We were immediately impressed by the freshness and quality of the food. You place your order at the counter upon walking in, find a seat, and shortly after, the food is brought to your table. We started with the fried okra, which was absolutely delightful--fresh, perfectly fried, and seasoned just right. It set the tone for what was to come. For our main courses, we tried the Margherita pizza and the Italian sub. The Margherita pizza was incredibly fresh with a perfect balance of tomato, mozzarella, and basil. The crust had just the right amount of crispiness. The Italian sub was equally impressive--fresh ingredients that made it an ideal choice for a hot summer day. Overall, Francesca's by Katie's is a must-visit if you're looking for great food and quick, friendly service. We'll definitely be back!"
"One of the Marigny/Bywater gems that you hate to publicize because then you'll have to wait an hour to eat.....BUT the gelato was some of the best I've had in the city. Do not SLEEP on the mascarpone and fig gelato. It is utterly perfection. The espresso and the pistachio gelato was also really delicious. My kids devoured the blood orange gelato. Now it's on the pricier side- $4 for one scoop;one flavor small and $8 for a large and two flavors. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was quiet and empty. A great time to take the kids. Plenty of street parking and cool art inside and out."
"Finally a place that knows how to make a calzone. I haven't tried anything else yet, but I'll be back. This was an awesome start!!!"
"Ordered for the first time via food delivery service, would definitely order again. The spaghetti is seasoned well. Only comes with one meatball but that meatball is packed with flavor. I throughly enjoyed my lunch!"
"This place is very delicious. Food is great, the service is very friendly. I enjoy coming here on the weekends. You should try whenever you have a chance."
