It's just regular bread and there's no pickle on the side. It's about 6" and pretty thin. However, the ingredients are good. The apps are good, especially the latkes, but they are also a little pricey for what you get. Overall, I only recommend eating here if you eat kosher and want specific foods or have more expendable income than me because the price is high."

"DISCLAIMER: This review will be confusingly similar to my review of the Jason's deli on the West bank in Harvey, LA. After having recently tried Jason's Deli while in Memphis on business, and also having visited the location on the West bank in Harvey, LA, I was super stoked to find out that they just recently opened a store in Metairie, LA near the foot of Veterans Memorial Blvd. I haven't enjoyed a truly good salad bar since my Los Angeles days when I used to visit Soup Plantation on a regular basis. The opening of the conveniently located Metairie location saves me from fighting the traffic on the Crescent City Connection Bridge (over the Mississippi River). I'll reiterate that Uber-Yelper Marielle S. hit the nail on the head when she stated in her review that "it's like Panera Bread on steroids". However, the staff at Jason's were constantly monitoring, cleaning and replenishing the salad bar while we ate, and they checked on our table frequently to see if we needed anything. Being so new, this location is in pristine condition; however, it seems that the staff is very mindful regarding cleanliness, and that's always a great thing for any restaurant. I've been to this location 6 or 7 times and everything is still great. Looking forward to going back again and again and again!"

Two people are usually working, barreling out orders. There are a dozen plus sub options to choose from including two vegetarian options with many other non-sandwich items as well. I have gotten the 14'' and 7'' Veggie Burger sub, respectively. The bun is delicious and toppings are generous. The burger itself is a bit underwhelming, but the rich amount of toppings to choose from make up for it."

The portions were large, everything tasted outstanding, and it was all made fresh. The seasoning was plentiful, but not too spicy or overpowering. Only thing that would have made it better would have been a hot sauce offering. Michigan could certainly use a Bradley's, but until that happens, my kids are already asking me to start making boudin at home!"

The pump was antiquated, but all i really cared about was the gas inside and my ability to keep driving on this beautiful Saturday afternoon; shallow huh? But anyway, where was I, oh yeah the antiquation of the pump, yeah, it wasn't on the best side of the aesthetically pleasing, but it was modern as it accepted that insertion of the credit card for payment of gas. All in all, Dolly's Deli (although I didn't do any "deli-ing" on the day in question) was there when I needed it... phew, LIFE SAVER!!!!!!"

Now inside of Thibodaux (inside of Louisiana) there is another country called the Jungle Casino which shares a border with another country called The Congo Lounge. These two countries share a DMZ known as Blakes Deli. You just can't make this shit up! "I have no idea what the other 2 reviewers are talking about with their poor reviews. I'm reviewing Jersey Mike's in Thibodaux La. and my experiences have been the exact opposite. My wife and I have eaten there 4 times, and the food was so hot, I had to wait for it to cool down or it would have burned my mouth. They literally make the sandwich in front of you so you should expect and get a very hot fresh sandwich. On all 4 visits our orders were correct. On all my visits I ordered the Philly cheese sandwich which is one of the best I've ever tasted; that's why I've ordered the same thing every time so far. My wife has ordered different sandwiches, and she's never had a complaint. Give them a try and decide for yourself."

"This was my first time trying Jersey Mike's and everything was fantastic. The crew greeted me right away. I looked at the menu online before I got there but still was unsure of what to get. I'm not sure if this was the manager but he explained the menu items that I had questions about and demoed how both would look. I like that the meat is freshly sliced and the ingredients are also fresh. I got a regular super sub and it was delicious. I ate half in the car which was more than enough for me. I did a little shopping in the area and finished the rest when I got home. The bread on this sandwich was amazing. It gave me poppy vibes. I will be back.
