"Best dive bar in Algiers!!! Three pool tables, some video games, plus video poker machines.Love the regulars that go. They treat every one like family."

"Went the day before thanksgiving. Had margaritas, Dungeness crabs and snow crabs. Everything was outstanding! Food, service and atmosphere all excellent."
"Had the crusted crab and egg sardou. Was almost a perfect dish. They poached egg was on a spinach Au gratin, but to be honest it tasted more like spinach Madelaine with a hint of lemon. The crab was perfect too. Can't say enough about how good this dish was."
"Service is always friendly and Joey K's is always Joey K's consistency is king here. The seafood is always hot and fresh. The staff always has a smile if it's 4 tables or 40 being served. They are a neighborhood spot through and through and where I always take visitors to city for that first bite or NOLA."
"I went for the first time for a friend's birthday and everything was outstanding! We started with white wine and a friend got a tomato martini which was to die for. It was unlike anything I've ever had and a week later I'm still dreaming about it. We went during happy hour and a got a few appetizers from that menu, the okra tempura, the fries, and the peach + prosciutto arancini. They were all so good and unlike anything I've ever had. For mains we split the shrimp gnocchi and the stone creek wagyu flank steak. Again, perfection. We also ordered the brown butter griddled cornbread for dessert and they brought it out with a lit candle! So thoughtful and kind. There were 3 of us and we felt like we ordered the perfect amount of food. The total price for each of us was also really reasonable. The service was amazing. The restaurant was so cute on the inside. It felt very romantic. I'm dying to go back!"
"Why would you eat redfish anywhere else?? Don't. The redfish dish here is so perfectly prepared that it makes me annoyed with myself when I order it anywhere else.Beyond the food, this lovely restaurant located inside Renaissance Baton Rouge has lovely bartending staff with a shoutout to Shawna and Damon who will make you feel appreciated and right at home."
"How could I not like a bar named Night Bloom? I knew this place prides itself on being a late night spot and in the lower St. Claude area, it is part of a renaissance in the neighborhood, so kudos to that!Night Blooms has atmosphere in droves with its sultry dark interior, plants creating coziness and a large circular bar in the middle. I would have happily sat at the bar, which I don't always do, but we grabbed a highboy by a window. I loved the music, a lot of it 80s dance hits on the night we were there. The second room is even darker-- love this because it feels like you're in some secret club. Can't wait to go back and sit in this area. It's owned by some of the Bacchanal folks, so the wine list is highly curated and I loved my icy cold glass of sparkling. This isn't a beer drinkers paradise (I don't care but if someone in your party is sticking to beer, they have a limited selection). They also make a fine Aperol Spritz.Looking forward to being a regular!"
"We hosted a professional social event at Baroness on 11/23/24 and it was OUTSTANDING from top to bottom. The venue was very accommodating and welcoming, the food was excellent, and they created signature drinks that were delicious! The arrangement of the space in different rooms also created great opportunities for conversation. Next time we're in NOLA, we will definitely book Baroness for our event."
"Service is very slow but the burgers, fries and onion rings were so delicious that it made up for the long wait (~1.5 hours after we ordered)."
"Came back here for my 2nd time (after the 1st many years ago) for a K9 Rouge Rescue event and was impressed with everything! The staff was so helpful for us setting up space for the pups, the food was delicious, and the setting is just precious (as it was the first time I went). My favorite find was probably the fruit-infused lemonades! I couldn't get enough!! I hope next time I come they offer alligator corndogs again as I was really hoping to try that out. All good though as they have so many options, and no doubt they're all delicious!"
"My sister and I walked in & immediately was freezing, so we decided to sit outside. Well it was cold there too, but the owners came to put the heaters on.... but then they were out of propane!! Y'all why did the boss go to the gas stations to purchase propane for us to use the heaters!!!! That was EXTREMELY kind!! Food 10/10 and our server was just great as well.We will definitely be back!!"

225 Crab is an excellent establishment. They have a staff that cares, a kitchen that can cook, and an atmosphere that pops.Food - 9Ambiance - 10Service - 9Cleanliness - 10Food: We ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp, the Shrimp Ceviche, the Charbroiled Oysters, and a Cucumber Margarita. Everything came out delicious and fresh, but the oysters were the star of tonight's show. My only suggestion for the oysters: bring more bread!Ambiance: It becomes apparent as you walk through the main dining area that the designers and creators of this experience have a real passion for their work. The interior is a work of art.Service: On another note, the service was kind and timely. The manager even came to check on us a few times to ensure our experience was up to par.Cleanliness: 10/10 for a reason!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishesShrimp Ceviche, Char-Grilled

A must-try in the Garden District! I wish I could start every morning out like this. Setting: Right on the strip of stores in the Garden District, this beautiful restaurant is spacious and has ample seating.Service: Do expect a bit of a wait, ours was 20 mins long. The waitstaff were super kind and had great suggestions.Food: We ordered the frozen mimosa (fruity, sweet, bubbly), Joe Blow, and Chicken and Gravy Sandwich. All were delicious - and make sure to try their biscuits with strawberry jam!

Joey K's is sort of the neighborhood restaurant for those of us who live in the Garden District. It's homey, has down home New Orleans food and is a great place to go for a casual lunch. The blackberry cobbler is to die for. The appetizers are big enough to eat as an entree. Great onion rings, seafood, pasta, too. They don't take reservations but have accommodated my large extended family if we call ahead and go early. I recommend it to anyone coming to shop Magazine Street.

We had the most wonderful evening with Kim as our server. Besides the food being delicious with a beautiful presentation, the ambiance was very serene. Music was soft enough so we could talk with each other without screaming. The wallpaper behind the bar was cute of monkeys drinking wine. The Mother of Pearl is a neighborhood restaurant feel with excellent food.

So great hotel restaurant for sure! From service, drinks, food quality and price it's all a great deal! Service from Kirsten was absolutely fantastic and she made great recommendations for food, was very social and checked in plenty! The scallops with this corn/pork reaux was excellent! Charred oysters were good not great. The drinks were good and prices were fair! Definitely would eat here again based on my first experience!!

Got a chance to get out and come here for the first time for a friend's birthday party and a lot of my friends came out so it was a good time!! First thing I noticed here is how well thought out the mood lighting and vibe is here. The bar lights are really a standout here and it's dark and just gives a sexy vibe. Neon and blue lights along with the DJ they have here just puts you in the right mood! This is strictly a specialty cocktail bar with signature drinks - you can order basic drinks but they focus on what's on their menu. Service was good it got busy as the hours passed and the bartenders were keeping up with the crowd. I got the $15 Miss Vanjie which is a tequila specialty cocktail that has cilantro, jalapeños and mint along with Lime and Pineapple juice. I ended up with two of those. They were tasty!!! Will be back!!

"Very cool atmosphere. Loved the chandelier. Specialty drinks at a reasonable price. They make an excellent espresso martini! Was a fun after dinner spot."
"Food was good, but $4.50 for iced tea and fountain drinks is absolutely ridiculous. You should be ashamed, Pedro!"
"I came to Gaia for a birthday dinner with my fiance. I came here because it was supposed to be upbeat eclectic steak house. The place has a beautiful curated ambiance, but the music when we got here was putting me to sleep and had Billie Eilish style of covers of other songs and was not it.The table we sat was in a cute little back room and was very personal but the table legs were a little uncomfortable and the table was a little too far but it had some style with it. The service was great, it was fast, everything was explained and even the awesome cut of our steaks with salt bae action display was super cool. Just remember if you want to take a picture of the steak tartare with the quail egg make sure you let them know because they squashed it and was not able to to do the squashing myself. Which I like to do. As far as the appetizer flavors and display we got the Spanish octopus which was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing with the chimichurri which had a nice little spice kick to it that was perfect. We also had the steak tartare with the quail egg and caviar that was super delicious and citrusy bringing all the flavors together. Our main dish were the private reserve cut and the filet mignon. The private reserve cut was cooked perfect for a medium rare and the filet mignon was slightly overcooked to a medium instead of a medium rare but the quality of meats were great and super tender and delicious. We paired the steaks with Sautéed mushrooms and that was a great pairing. Finally we had the espresso drink, but switched it with a reposado don julio and a bottle of CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE bottle of wine which was delicious. Their pricing was pretty on point for a steak house and they had a very large wine selection which I did appreciate. Finally the dessert was the ice creams. We loved the ice cream flavors which was the mango, pistachio, chocolate and red bean. They had an outside of white chocolate that was quite overpowering and took away from the ice creams. The chocolate paired well with its outside regular chocolate not white chocolate exterior. The mango tasted well with the white chocolate but the pistacho the white chocolate took away from it. The red bean was too light that you can barely taste even with just the ice cream itself. They do not bring or make the reservation any more special for birthdays, which is something I did appreciate from gw fins and other nice restaurants even if they did a free Dessert taster that would be an awesome add. Service fee is included. I will come back but please keep the music nice and vibey, house music, disco, funky, lo-fi but not Billie eilish style."
"Lovely local spot. Service is spectacular. Food is fresh & delicious with daily tweaks to the menu. Portions are filling but not too much (great before a night out on the town). Reservations are almost always needed but there is full dinner service at the bar."
"After seeing all the rave reviews, we were sorely disappointed. There was plenty of seating when we arrived. You order at counter or with QR. The mimosas were ready by the time we checked out at the counter, but are in plastic cups. You can get your own water and coffee. We had biscuits and gravy and chicken and waffles. The biscuit and gravy were good, but had a skim on gravy and was just warm, not hot. That was the better of the two meals. The waffles were dry and not hot. The pecan butter did not melt on them, even under the scoop of butter that was on top of the waffle. The chicken was hot enough, but unremarkable and a small serving. Big seating area with tables seating up to 8, a little loud, but not as much as you would think from the look of the place. Overall, unless you don't want to walk farther, there are better places to eat in the area. I'd recommend Flamingo a GoGo as an alternative. They have bottomless mimosas and the chicken and waffles are much better and a bigger serving for just a few dollars more. However, it is noisy, but they make reservations and you get table service."
"Usually always good. I'm gonna deduct a point though for a burrito which was swimming in a watery pool on the plate. It was more than just the runoff from cooked meat. It was very watery under the burrito. Anyway, out of a good number of visits here, still my favorite Mexican place on the Thomas/190 in Hammond. Still great tasting food. My kids ate it up too. Pamela the server is my fav. Always polite and nice to talk with."
"Are you a fancy mofo? This is a place for fancy mofos. Before you ask, let me be clear; I am not a fancy mofo. I can occasionally appreciate fancy mofo stuff though hence the four star review.I stopped in here because I wanted to get a bourbon before dinner. I beat my friends to the lobby and figured I should stop in. There was a dude playing piano, a bunch of groups or couples, and some giant unfancy dude in jeans and plaid. The bar had a pretty decent selection of booze and I opted for a glass of Tin Cup (some age statement, but I can't remember what it was). It was somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 with the tip. Whoa nah. I am definitely not fancy enough for this joint.I sat at an empty table and enjoyed the drink while listening to some dude play piano. He was pretty good so if you like that sort of thing, you will probably like this bar. If you are more of a sit at home and have a drink, or sit at a dive bar and drink kind of person, you will probably not."
"I'm not a big steak guy but the new york strip was unreal. Best thing I have had to eat in years. Potatoes and fries were divine. I came in underdressed not knowing how nice the place is but the staff were still warm and friendly. Better service than most restaurants. Free bread and butter tasted perfect. The music in the restaurant was pleasant and family friendly. Prices were fair for the quality but be prepared to drop $50 minimum per person."
"Service was good. Food was decent . A bit messy for me. Bun was sweet like Hawaiian bread. We sat in an odd booth. Wasn't particularly comfortable. it wasn't busy yet we got put in a corner type booth with a post in the way, what an odd seating arrangement."
"Not as cool as Siberia, due to the fact that the Polish food was the bomb, but still a cool spot to check out local tunes, and get some cool drinks. You just won't get a beet bloody Mary, like one would pre COVID"
"We are regularly here on a many given weekend. The Rum House is an absolute gem! From the vibrant atmosphere to the incredible food and drinks, this spot hits all the right notes.Their menu is a delicious mix of Caribbean-inspired dishes with bold and fresh flavors. The tacos are a must-try--so creative and packed with flavor--and their sides, like the coconut rice and sweet plantains, are the perfect additions. And let's not forget the drinks! Whether you're craving a classic mojito or one of their unique rum cocktails, the bar menu is top-notch.One of the things I love most about The Rum House is that it's dog-friendly! As long as you sit outside, your furry friend is welcome to join you while you dine. It's such a fun and laid-back spot to enjoy with your pup by your side. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the outdoor seating adds to the relaxed, tropical vibe. Whether you're stopping by for a casual lunch, date night, or just to enjoy some time with your dog, The Rum House is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!"
"Came to New Orleans with some ghost hunting friends and we found the most amazing and historic bar on Bourbon Street. It had everything you would want in a bar , including live music, a back patio, with a giant skeleton, and the most delicious hotdogs that are made out of burnt ends. Look out Guy F, Krissy K The Ghost Wryder Got to it first! We even got a drink and a take-home mug for $5.You can't get that anywhere in New Orleans , except here. if you want just a bit of lunch and a drink in the afternoon before you head out to find all the Spooky spots, this is the place to be in NOLA.The Hideout! Super Good all around!"
"It's definitely a little more than a hop, skip and a jump from downtown and as a tourist with no wheels I did wonder if the trek was worth it. It was!We got the St. Charles Streetcar to Peniston and walked down Peniston to the distillery - about 10 mins along pleasant, quiet streets with cute traditional houses to gawk at along the way.The tour is a short one around the warehouse, but the story behind the owner and the original bourbon whiskey (and now all the other stuff they make) is worth listening to.I don't do straight-up liquor and I'm not a bourbon person (quite frankly the visit was 99% for my hubby who loves the stuff), but I did have a gin and tonic afterwards with their house NOLA sweet potato gin. O.M.G. So good! I have so much gin at home that I had no business buying another bottle... but I did.If you're lucky enough to have George as your bartender - he's the bomb."
"Terrific food! Great outdoor and indoor seating. Dog friendly. Great for friend gathering, or couples dateday. The house Pono noir ( pellegrini) is the best tasting Pinot I've had in a couple of years."
"The Tulane & Broad daiquiri is lethal! That drink is truly for the very responsible. This place can mix the best daiquiris to "get ya mind right". You can locate this place right behind the Chuckie Cheese on General DeGaulle.I really like to check out smaller, independent daiquiri shops. This location is cash only and its is located in a divey strip mall but I've always received great customer service and the mixed daiquiri concoctions are miracle workers on your current disposition. The inside is run down but it is clean and it has TVs on the wall. This seems to be a gathering spot for people to play pool and have just have a drink after a long day. Ample parking is available."
"Mezcal margaritas were great! Service and the lobster tacos were worth the hefty price"
"Located in the French Quarter, so it's a beautiful walk to the restaurant. The inside is nice and cozy with a large bar. The food portion is very generous and was delicious. They definitely did not skimp on the catfish like they did in another restaurant we went to. We got here late and were on of the few customers on a Friday night. The staff was nice, the service was quick, and the drinks were strong."
"I've been craving some good fried chicken. This hit the spot. The Mac & Cheese was cheesy and good a little cold but the crispy fresh hot fried chicken made up for it. The waiter was attentive and on point. Thursday nights is steak night but my party decided on some other things. The candied yams melt in your mouth delicious. I will definitely be back to my home town just to eat here again!"
"Getting right off of a plane and being able to do a happy hour with half off oysters and $5 margaritas. What more can you ask for? We ordered right at the bar and then got a number and found a table. I was actually really surprised that we found a table because a game was going on and it was pretty packed. The food came out really fast and was delicious. I got the half off oyster platter with a variety of oysters and the cheese fries. And the fries were waffle fries and they were delicious. My friend got a gin drink that looked amazing and I contemplated that after having one of the margaritas. I really enjoyed the happy hour here and would suggest anybody going back. Other things on the menu looked good but for half off an oyster platter I'm all in."
"We walked by this bar several times while exploring the French Quarter, and the $2 beers and well drinks sign finally drew us in. To say this wasn't one of the most fun bars we visited on the trip would be an understatement. There's plenty to do and enjoy here - beer pong, hook ring, jenga. Even if country music isn't your thing (it's not mine), the drink prices more than make up for it. The bartenders were friendly, and since it wasn't crowded, getting drinks was easy. They have bars both upstairs and downstairs, although the upstairs one was closed while we were there (wasn't busy so it made sense). Tip: don't miss out on taking advantage of the free photo booth upstairs!"
"If you're in Marrero and looking for great food and an even better atmosphere, Fifteen 25 is the spot! The ambience is perfect--chic, cozy, and welcoming. The owner is super cool and makes you feel right at home. The food? Incredible. I tried the salmon bites and the Bang Bang Shrimp, and both were absolute standouts! They're seasoned to perfection and packed with flavor. Honestly, I couldn't resist snapping a picture before diving in.If you're looking for a place with delicious food and good vibes, look no further than Fifteen 25. I'll definitely be back!"
"Atchafalaya always pleases the soul for a great experience and wonderful cuisine. We came for brunch with a friend and it is as good as always.Tucked nicely in a neighborhood bordering Uptown and the Garden District it's in a lovely homey building with a lot of character.Always white tablecloth experience we were seated right away for brunch. Make sure you have a reservation as the place isn't big, quite intimate, as are many New Orleans better quality neighborhood establishments.I immediately ordered their signature Bloody Mary, as it is an institutional drink here. Unfortunately, they no longer have the Bloody Mary bar where after you order your particular vodka you head to the bar and put your own drink together with all the refinements imaginable. It used to be a fun event in itself. We were told it was ended with the pandemic. Sad, yet understandable.I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and it was absolutely delectable. The crab cake mixture was perfectly molded together and cooked well, and two poached eggs on top.So good. They also brought some delectable small muffins with flavored butter. It was a relaxed and wonderful brunch.Service was very professional and added to a very pleasant meal."
"My wife and I decided to stop in for a couple glasses of wine and some appetizers. We had the Prime Beef Carpaccio & Crispy Oysters, it was delicious. They bring out a piece of Texas toast, best bread I've ever had. I decided to get a steak because I'm always hungry, I went with the 6oz Filet and creamed spinach. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The bar tender was very knowledgeable and great to talk too. The view of the river at dusk topped it off."
