"Happy that another restaurant has opened in my hometown, I've eaten here a handful of times and every time it's been outstanding. All staff members here are nice and friendly. The restaurant has art on one wall as well as hanging plants along the walls around the building, and many tables to be seated at too. It's not very pricey in my opinion which is another plus. The GM Goulash is loaded down with meat, meat, and more meat. Absolutely delicious and filling. The oyster sliders...although it is a bit of a smaller portion I just can't get enough of them; and their fries are so good! The salt/seasoning that is put on the French fries is so tasty in itself. I've also had a cheeseburger with fries and the burger was pretty good as well. Their soft shell shrimp is very good too!"

BIG burger with cheese, grilled onions, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo. Very good, ginormous burger. 2. Tater tots with chili and cheese were good, just wanted more with the order. Lots of chili and cheese. 3. They have the good crushed ice with their drinks ( like Sonic). Good service, good burger, good prices, clean establishment. I will be back."

Boudin pork deep fried balls are a mixture of pork meats, spices, pepper jack and some filler. The deep fried chicken cracklings are a treat for your senses that came out fresh and hot and a little salty but I didn't mind. They offer a variety of cajun specialty meats from wild game to traditional Cajun favorites here. Even alligator sausage. Their meats are Louisiana Certified and infused with unique spices and rubs, helping to deliver an unparalleled culinary experience like none other. They have a walk in and purchase section that has coolers of frozen food options, a hot and ready counter to grab and go (that we enjoyed) and they also offer a sit down and eat space as well. Hands down a great spot. Establishment was tucked back in a strip type of business complex. Inbetween a sports apparel store and a notary. We came in with the truck and found parking was tight on the gravel lot but we made it work. So happy we found this spot and because we were staying local for a moment we frequented it often."

If you know anything about ownership then you know that Master P (A former hip hop artist) is part owner of this establishment. With that being said,most people would expected the appearance of this restaura nt to be alluring but it was nothing of the sort. The paint job was a sight for sore eyes and the floors looked as though they had not been polished since the first day of business. I decided to try their chicken and waffles which were great!....if I was only going to look at them. After that first bite I realized how true the saying",looks can be deceiving" was. The waffles were dry a taste like they came out of the freezer. And the chicken fingers were as bland as a bowl of rocks. They waiter( who was awesome by the way) allowed me to replace my order with another meal from the menu! This time I decided to try a Big Poppa bacon cheese burger. This cheeseburger was by far one of the best cheese burgers I have ever had!!!!!! The beef was seasoned to perfection. And they also gave you regular bacon and deep fried bacon on your burger! The fries were fresh and hot!. The customer service here was superb."

"Walking around French Quarters and trying all sorts of foods. My daughter wanted a slice of pizza so we popped our heads in--there were no customers and the bartender (who was also likely the only server) greeted us quickly and offered menus. We advised him we were only there for a slice of pizza to go. He was very friendly and gave her the options of cheese pizza or pepperoni. The pizza was in a case in the back of the store and we could see him grab a slice out for her and put it on a paper plate. She loved it and enjoyed her pizza as we continued our walk!"

It was tasty, if a little dry, but that was my fault, because 9/10 times at bars, if they ask me how I want my burger, and I tell them medium, and it comes out Chef Ramsey Rawr, so I ask for medium well, and it's perfect, a bit of pink in the center. "How much do I like Dot's Diner?When I visit New Orleans, I'm often a guest of Harrah's Casino, who provide me with transportation between their property and the airport in Kenner. More than once, on my way out of town, I've paid my driver a substantial tip to stop at Dot's on Williams Blvd. before we reached MSY, so I could enjoy an unplanned one-more-last-good-meal.Eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats and good coffee are obvious choices, but Dot's does more: their kitchen, which I suspect it haunted by someone's cher tante, turns out home-style Southeastern Louisiana fare that stands with the best such dishes served in da Parish.Is Dot's in Kenner convenient? Not unless you're already in the area. Is it fast? Depends on the day, and time of day. But Dot's food is very good, and it's inexpensive, even when you add in the monster tip required to convince your driver to abandon his schedule. There's value in those things."

"I ordered jollof rice with chicken and plantains and fish pepper soup with fufu over the phone and it was ready in 20 minutes. I did not catch her name but the owner was very sweet and we had a great conversation while she packaged my food to go! Everything was very fresh and hot even when I got home. The chicken was tender and juicy. The jollof was more tomatoey and not as spicy as I am accustomed to but decent and a fairly large portion. I probably could have asked for it to be spicy. The plantains were good as well. The pepper soup brought the heat!! Wasn't much but it was the perfect amount and the fufu was filling too! All this food for $20. Def going back for more soup and to retry a spicer jollof. She did recommend cash next time because the card reader gives her trouble sometimes."

"So I trusted them for the 1st time last night. They did NOT disappoint. The restaurant was clean when we arrived and i could smell the wings outside. The cashier was friendly and patient with us. She allowed us to try sauces. Now grated that menu could have been a little bigger on the wall above the that's just me lol. I had the 10 piece fried hard with hot lemon pepper and blazin cajun. The hot lemon pepper was official! It wasn't too salty either from the lemon pepper. The fries were loaded fries, which came with cheese sauce, ranch, jalapeños and bacon. I did ask them to hold the ranch, but I don't like hot or room temp ranch. Them fries were awesome! I had a lemonade to drink. My partner got the 10 piece combo with the sweet heat sauce and cajun ranch fries. A sprite to drink, we both had ranch with our wings. 1 thing honestly, they need bigger cups for the ranch because that small cup for 10 wings was a struggle lol. I went to the restroom and it was clean and smelled good. We ate there and the food actually didn't take long. The cook was an older lady who was polite. Our food came out hot and fresh! But look check this out don't listen to me go there for yourself! I forgot to take pictures. Sorry!Overall I give them 5 stars. We'll definitely be back."
