"Simply the best. This place never disappoints. A well seasoned burger with ten options for sauce."
"I honestly can't review this place for the food but I can for their human kindness and for that I give 5 stars. We decided to help someone less fortunate than us by buying them a meal and when the gentleman in my photo seen us giving them food, he came over across the street and gave some hot coffee to them, since it was a little chilly that night. I know it may sound like "only coffee", but to some I'm sure it's a big deal at that moment in life."

"Saturday nights are packed because Chimes are good at providing A1 service, but they check you in quickly to get you in the queue. Our table was ready in 30 minutes, and our server immediately took our the order. The ambiance is always live, with multiple TVs, great music in the background, the smell of chargrilled oysters, and the variety of seating that makes everyone feel welcome. We sat outside in the patio area, but the heaters didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, as always, and they never missed a beat. I also love how the staff look out for each other; they work hand in hand."
"Great neighborhood bar with great food, reasonable drink prices, fun people, and a place in history. If you've never been, GO."
"Turtle Bay always greets us awesomely for our annual Very Bad Santa Crawl. We have tons of fun and this is one of our favorite spots. They have great drinks and awesome food. We tend to spend more time at this location than any of our other stops. Thanks to the staff for having all of us and putting up with our holiday shenanigans!!"
"Best sliders in the area! Love the fact that you can mix and match them in a combo. There may be a bit of a wait in drive-thru but the inside moves at a quicker pace. The drinks are self-serving and they offer an array of sauces. The fries are always fresh and the milkshakes come highly recommended. The dining area is a decent size but the parking lot is on the smaller size. There's kiosks and cashiers to assist with ordering. All in all a damn good burger spot!"
"How much do I like Dot's Diner? When I visit New Orleans, I'm often a guest of Harrah's Casino, who provide me with transportation between their property and the airport in Kenner. More than once, on my way out of town, I've paid my driver a substantial tip to stop at Dot's on Williams Blvd. before we reached MSY, so I could enjoy an unplanned one-more-last-good-meal.Eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats and good coffee are obvious choices, but Dot's does more: their kitchen, which I suspect it haunted by someone's cher tante, turns out home-style Southeastern Louisiana fare that stands with the best such dishes served in da Parish. Is Dot's in Kenner convenient? Not unless you're already in the area. Is it fast? Depends on the day, and time of day. But Dot's food is very good, and it's inexpensive, even when you add in the monster tip required to convince your driver to abandon his schedule. There's value in those things."
"Arrived around 1:00 pm for a quick lunch before hopping on the Amtrak to Chicago. I was greeted and seated quickly. The menu was as expected with all the things you want for a quick lunch like the usual suspects of starters, think boudin and loaded fries, salads, lots of hamburger options including a veggie burger, fried shrimp and chicken tender plates. I had the fried shrimp plate and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and amount of shrimp for the price. Service was friendly if a bit slow to check back. The shrimp were a nice size, fresh and well fried as were the fries and at 11.99 a steal for a good lunch. The iced tea was also fresh and well made. All in all if you're around downtown Hammond just hanging out or waiting for a train definitely check out Our Mom's, there is also a bar and the bar menu certainly looked worth checking out as well."
"Food is excellent! Service was so friendly and fast. Salads are amazing. Fried Shrimp were delicious. Crab cake stack is very good"
"Cute spot! All the windows really brighten up the rooms during lunch so it's great for brunch pics with the girls haha! It's a little cramped so something to consider for those with limited mobility. We got the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer and I had the shrimp and grits for my entree. Both were very flavorful."
"Saw this place on man vs food so we wanted to try it. The poboys were ok. Grilled shrimp didn't have much flavor and the fried oysters were a little floury tasting. We also got hush puppies with a sweet butter and tartar sauce. The sauces were nice. Our daughter got the kids fried shrimp basket and those were really nice. I would have given 3 stars if the staff wasn't so nice."
"I've never tried a beignet like this. It was recommended by my cousin who now likes in NOLA. It didn't disappoint. The Cajun queen beignet was so savory and flavorful I'm coming back tomorrow (lol). The sweet beignet was totally delicious. My tastebuds were dancing when I left. The Southern hospitality here was welcoming and very much appreciated. I would recommend this place."

I've been passing this place on the way to Rouse's for a while. Always busy, and the menu looks amazing. Tonight for my first visit, I tried the single with a side of coleslaw and pork rinds with pimiento cheese. The pork rinds were my favorite because they came with pimiento cheese for dipping. The coleslaw was a great consistency and no onion. The burger was good but a little too much bun to burger ratio. Should I have gone for The Company Burger which features two patties? Of course! Next time, I want to try the lamb burger. Finally, I had a frozen rosé while I waited and I loved it. I would definitely order again.

Came here after a concert and the line was out the door. It's a small spot. Maybe about 4/5 tables and some stools. Got a burger and tater tots. So yummy. You can customize your burger. You can also see the cook, cook. The smell made me want to add bacon to my burger and it was perfection.

It's not my first time at chimes but I had a great time here! I went with a friend and we had a great time here. The food was amazing! We sat at the bar and we had a great time! The service was amazing very friendly barmaids and bartenders. Thr ambiance was nice. They had some soft but good oldies playing in the back with made my time even more enjoyable. For lunch I had the fried shrimp platter with fries it was very good. The shrimp were huge and butterflied nicely! My friend had the blackened salmon on medium temperature and it was very good. The steamed vegetables were cooked to perfection! I would give this place a 10/10.

Came back for the wings and fell in love with the lemon drop. The wings was a 10/10 and the lemon drop with a 10/10. Not everyone knows how to make a lemon drop and this place nailed it! I'll be back soon

This is one of my burger spots in the city when I'm craving a delicious burger. I wouldn't consider it fast food because the food is always cooked hot and fresh to order. The order turn around is also pretty fast you may wait 5 mins, but you can't beat that for cooked to order food. This time around I ordered the Atomic Burger with a side of fries and spicy ketchup. The burger comes with two patties and is fully dressed with their special sauce. The burger was well seasoned and so juicy. The fries were hot and crispy and paired just right with the spicy ketchup which wasn't that spicy at all.

The food was exactly what you want good diner food to be. The biscuit was delicious! Everyone was kind and even the other customers were generally cordial. It was all around a great experience!

Burgers & Drinks are good, prices are nice. Some servers are better than others. I love their loaded fries I forgot what they are called. The atmosphere is like a family bar chill vibes.

"These are the current menus as of 12/3/24. Get the cheese curds. Superior late night burgers. And an atmosphere that says you can feel comfortable wearing sweatpants. Tip your server."
"It was just fine. I liked the level of the lights and music, very sensory friendly for bar, leans into a pub identity. The bartender got us the things we asked her for. And that's that lol. The star of the show is the grill master, he does know how a burger. It was tasty, if a little dry, but that was my fault, because 9/10 times at bars, if they ask me how I want my burger, and I tell them medium, and it comes out Chef Ramsey Rawr, so I ask for medium well, and it's perfect, a bit of pink in the center. His was medium well, white center, like I asked. I'll ask for what I like with confidence next time. Nice space, nice backyard patio."
"Cool place to eat, good service. Got a burger and chill cheese fries and checked out the game."
"If you want the "going out" feeling but not with the "going out" crowds and noise, this is a good spot. Just enough buzz from the other customers, TVs and the alcohol to be mellow, plus a sweet little courtyard in the back. Food is good sturdy bar food. Sometimes you get lucky can watch a wedding reception in the venue across the street. (If you're really lucky, the person you go with will do the driving so street parking won't be an issue.)"
"They do trivia, take home cup days, allow dog, have front and back patio, and plenty of TVs. It can get loud but the atmosphere is great when a big event or holiday comes. Giving it a 3 because I am not a fan of the noise level and they make you buy fries separate with a burger. I always have a reason so meet here but I never pick it as my first choice of bar."
"Awww man they've got something great over here. The Koran BBQ chicken sandwich is truly top tier deliciousness. Wasn't to crowded inside and the plexiglass around each booth, along with sanitizer and signs to wear a mask were great covid touches. Back to the sandwich it wasn't a large chicken sandwiches but sized pretty ok. Everything of course is a-la-cart I got the fries with the special Koran sauce. It tasted ok. I know this sandwich is probably a limited time offer so I will be going back soon to get another one!"
"The "Swiss Shroom" (Mushroom Swiss) burger is hands down the absolute BEST mushroom Swiss I have ever had in my life! Not bland like others. But be careful, it's addictive if you like mushroom Swiss burgers! Just finished one and I'm already thinking of when I can get the next one. Service was AWESOME too!! An all around GREAT experience!"
"First time in Louisiana, New Orleans. This cute little spot came highly recommended from my partner's mom so here we are.The diner is 60's themed: cozy, quaint, retro ambiance. Menu offers a variety of breakfast items, sandwiches, and burgers.I got the Seafood Omelet and oh my gods is this thing MASSIVE, and packed with flavors! It had fried shrimp, mushrooms and crayfish meat in a gray gravy Julie, I choose hash browns and biscuits for my side (Waitress recommended the biscuit) those are the best biscuits I ever had!Highly recommend, we don't get food like this in the desert so this was such a joy to experience, Thank you so much!"
"The Burgers here are amazing! My wife the kids and myself stopped here after a long evening at Celebration in the Oaks. The place is literally a hole in the wall but those are always the best in my opinion! The service also was stellar being I walked back to the car with one of our kids and the cashier helped my wife get the food together. I definitely recommend and definitely will be back!"
"I'm not from around town so when you say "the best hamburger in town" and you taste like that, I'm gonna believe you. As tourists, it was the ultimate roadside burger diner for our roadtrip story, giving us thick hand-smashed patties, milkshakes, young rosy-cheeked boys in baseball caps taking orders and family photos on the walls. My man declared it his best meal in Louisiana and one of the better burgers he's ever knocked out. Milkshakes were a little icy but I liked it. Stubbornly stuck to their traditions however, they do not offer fries."
"Small restaurant with just a few tables inside. Ordered a veggie burrito bowl it was good not as good as a chipotle or Moe's but something different! They don't have any vegetarian protein options here beans are it. With the very limited vegetarian options offered around New Orleans this is a good option!"
"I took a gamble on Goodwood Grill for delivery awhile back and I've enjoyed it so much that I've been going back since. I've always known this place was loved by locals but after trying the food, I completely understand why. It's not fancy food by any stretch, but the kind of comfort food that Baton Rouge faithful has been supporting for years. And just how much support? This place is hoppin' at lunch time, almost daily. It's even more crowded on the weekends and it gets a bit claustrophobic in here quickly. There are a handful of tables for 4 in the main dining room, with a smaller room in the back to handle the additional crowds. The format is simple enough: order at the counter and get seated. If the latter doesn't happen by a certain time, it may not happen at all. Hence, delivery / takeout for me all the way (#1).The food doesn't look like much, like an average spruced up diner version of sandwiches, burgers, and fried food. But looks only go so far, the taste was good enough to get me wanting more. Overall, everything was very tasty and I can't complain. The portions are southern hearty and the prices are pretty good, especially during their popular lunch specials. The burger was juicy and cooked just right, the fried catfish was well seasoned, and the gumbo was outstanding. And of course, the service has always been excellent. They know how to cut the wait time down and are able to handle phone / online orders with ease. They have never made a fuss about substitutions and are quick to make recommendations for what's going to be sure bet food wise.______________(#1) Plus, pandemic."
"Westbank Grill is the perfect stop for something quick and tasty. The server was friendly and attentive. What's my favorite dish to order? The onion rings! I don't know what it is about them, but I get them each and every time.Until next time..."
"Amazing service- felt very taken care of start to finish even though we arrived a bit close to closing time! Louisiana hospitality and delicious Louisiana food- some real home cooking type vibes! A large restaurant with plenty of space, quick food, and the perfect place to stop and rest while on a road trip. Highly recommend!"
"We ordered this food to go; my boyfriend is a fan of Shake Shack due to his home state and we decided to fit some of our hungry cravings as we hadn't eaten in awhile that day. We both went for the avocado chicken sandwich with a side of fries & he had the hot dog as well. It was all very good!"
"So thankful to have atomic burger close by in Baton Rouge! Their vegetarian beyond burger gets me through the week. The price is higher than the other fast food chains around because the quality is THAT much better. I truly hope they never get rid of the vegetarian option because it's one of the best substitute burgers I've ever had. I've probably been here 15 times in 2 years. Out of all of those times, ONCE they got my order wrong and gave me a real burger. So just be sure to check if you're going!! The receipt prints "veggie". They were so understanding and swapped it quickly.*also just a note, in my photo those fries are grocery store frozen from my house lol. edamame is from AB tho!"
"Great food and drinks with a fun Bingo and trivia night! Highly recommended Mediterranean bowl add shrimp, Brussels sprouts app!"
"Food is okay. Sometimes good, then sometimes really bad. They seem to be going through employees, though. Every time I come here, there are new faces. That must account for the inconsistent food quality."
"Sweetest staff you will ever meet! They have a very family welcome atmosphere. And some throwback stools at the bar. I ordered the Cajun Benedict and it was ok. Poached eggs and sauce were perfect but the sausage was not as flavorful as I remembered. Might be a new type they are using now. All in all a great early morning brunch place."
"Just finished my potato and it was great. Service was fast and efficient, even with the lights going out and coming back on. I'll be back again!"
"SUMMARY: on a first visit, Ben's gets a solid 4/5 that I expect to go up with future visits. My wife, toddler, and I all found things we love and can't wait to come back. FOOD: I had a #11 Grilled Chicken Sandwich fully dressed and enjoyed it. It wasn't anything spectacular, but the execution was every bit as good as Chik-Fil-A, and I didn't have to wait 30 minutes to place my order. The only thing I would do differently is add extra pickles. My wife ordered the BIG BEN and liked it. I tried it and found it too busy. All the parts were good, but I found the chili and fries with fry sauce on a double cheese burger a bit much. Having said that, I enjoyed each of the flavors in their own right and the patty was well-cooked and generously sized. I am looking forward to returning to try a regular burger. We got a Kids' Meal for our son and he enjoyed it. It's 4 nuggets, a GENEROUS serving of fries and a drink. As you can see in the pictures, the nuggets are cooked to perfection: crispy outside and moist inside. Fries were well done and stayed crispy outside even as they cooled. Onion rings were excellent. Now I have two places in the NOLA are where I can go for good onion rings.Basic Coke fountain drinks are available; the fountain and self-serve was clean and tidy. Barq's is available at the fountain AND in glass bottles. Bud, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Miller Lite, and Corona Light are also available. AMBIANCE: classic NOLA. Awesome Saints and food murals. Small, picnic-style wood tables perfect for 4 dining intimately or 2 with plenty of elbow room. Flat screen that I'm certain will have Saints games in season. CLEAN. That really stood out as we ate over an hour and staff bussed and cleaned, keeping the entire space clean and tidy. CLIENTELE: we dined in on a Saturday early afternoon and we saw people dressed in business formal, an auto mechanic, other families with young children, older couples, and retirees sporting LSU and hunting/fishing attire. It was a nice slice of Metairie. STAFF: obviously the cooks did a good job, but everybody was friendly, kind, and patient (I didn't communicate clearly, the order got messed up, and they made it right even though it was my fault). Can't wait to come back."
"The food was decent overall. If you're craving a good burger, this place is worth a try. The drinks were average, and the kids' meal chicken tenders were small and overpriced. This was my first time visiting, and while I wanted to check it out, it's not a spot I feel the need to return to. The service was good and fast, and the ambiance is simple with a small dining room area. If you're curious and just want to experience it once, it's fine, but not a must-visit for me."
"Food was outstanding! The "daily special menu" is where it's at!! Best food we've had in New Orleans in years! Green beans and seafood stuffed redfish. Sooo good."
