"Fun place to eat with friends and family!!! There is something for everyone!!! We had a great time, service was great and food was fresh and delicious!! We will be back!!"
"Visiting my cousin in the area, she suggested we eat from here, one of her spots she likes to go to. We ordered for pick up so we could eat and hang out at her house; so I don't really know how it is inside the actual restaurant. The person over the phone was nice and helpful though, and patient as it was my first time ordering from there. We got the blackened chicken and andouille Alfredo, it came with garlic bread, and was really good. My husband also liked it. I would love to try more menu items when we come back for another visit."
"The service here was very excellent. The waitress was very attentive. And much like all buffets. This one has its good points and not so good points. My biggest complaint was the lack of hot food . Most of it was lukewarm, if not slightly cold. I don't understand that at all. Yuk ."
"I went on the weekend and order off the menu. It was good. The food was fresh and well prepared. The owner was working the place and we talked a good bit. Found out a lot of the food on the menu comes from Thailand. Went back a couple of days later and tried the buffet. It was ok. And had a great selection of food. I'm just not a big fan of buffets"

Definitely a first! We had a group of 4, so I let the host know I was early and wait. When my friends arrived I learned we would be 8, maybe 9, maybe 10??? Oy. A walk in party of nine ahead of us was already seated in a private room so I was a little nervous as to how it would shake out, but the manager was really great and sat us in two adjacent booths separate from the rest of the dining room. The deal is thus; for 29.99 and within 90 minutes it's all you can eat. However, if you over order, you are charged $13/pound of wasted food. I believe this only applies to unboiled food and appetizers. Not positive. The fixed price includes 2 appetizers/person and a bbq item. Additional apps and bbq is charged. The options are ENDLESS. Clams, mussels, crab, shrimp, fish, lamb, pork, beef...veggies....eggs...and then on top of all that there's a sauce bar! I just started mixing stuff totally unaware there are recipes on the wall for guidance. Duh.Our server was great getting our hotpot's going, clearing our tables as we consumed insane amounts of food, and graciously separated our checks. I fully admit, our group was a bit of a hot mess. This is a very fun food experience and a great value for the selection and quantity. Sorry, no to go boxes allowed.Gratuity is automatically added and credit cards incur a 1.55 fee.Just a few housekeeping notes; there were old signs still on the wall with promos for new years and Christmas that need to go. The hostess wall has a bunch of vending machine toys on it that could also go away. A strange Dr Pepper soda machine seems out of place as well. Aside from these odd eyesores the space is neatly designed for comfort and the boil bar and sauce bar are meticulously labeled.

This was a good place for a casual lunch meeting.I am doubtful I would have every found this place had it not been for a co-worker setting up a lunch meeting here. My only requirements for a lunch meeting are private space and the ability for individual checks. Well, they did much better than the minimum here. The lunch buffet is hoe cooking at its best. I am generally not a home cooking fan but I had never before been to Brusly. They know what is up. This is the kind of food you would get if you went to a friend's home. Well, a friend who knew how to cook. They had everything from soup to pork chops to salad and dessert. It was basically everything you could want and then some.Service was super friendly and prices were very reasonable. If you find yourself in Brusly for lunch, you should add this place to your list. You will definitely not leave hungry.

I usually like the place, although recently it didn't go so well for me. My partner had a great time, though. So I don't know. I shouldn't have pulled the less fresh stuff I guess, luck of the draw. But generally they do have a good diverse selection of Chinese buffet food plus all you can eat sushi bar at a reasonable price. They definitely refill your drinks quickly lol.

The food at Mimi's is amazing. The service is also very good and attentive. Although I've enjoyed their buffet, I would recommend trying the menu items as well. The portions are generous and obviously fresh. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and I found it to be exceptionally clean. Always a plus!

I absolutely love the food here. I drive 18 miles, and I pass at least 12 other Chinese food restaurants to go to this China wok on Drusilla and get their curry chicken dish! I do the combo with the egg roll and it honestly is one of my favorite meals. The couple that run this place are so sweet and always greet you with a smile. Definitely give it a try! The prices are a fantastic and the food is so good!

Pretty common selection of foods, sushi, soups, etc. Nice to see the decor refreshed. I was somewhat disappointed in the hot and sour soup. Will try it again next time. Lots of dishes to try on the steam table.

I have always had a good experience eating here at Lins. It's a big space and the layout is eye pleasing, absolutely no way to feel claustrophobic. The buffet is constantly being refilled so you don't have to worry about a specific food running out. Good to note that there is more than just Chinese food being served, there is pizza and fried chicken just incase you have picky littles. Oh and I've had a variety of both the red and black cup (lol read previous reviews below)

"Well, I was extremely hungry, and since I happened to be in Lafayette decided to check out one of the Asian Buffets. I saw that this one is completely brand new, considering that its pictures were only posted a few days ago, and didn't have any yelp reviews. Also, the pictures looked like it was a clean place. It is in fact a very clean place, a family run business, and as soon as you enter you're nicely greeted and asked if you're there for the buffet. Since almost everyone there goes for that, then you say what drink you want and are provided a fork and a napkin. No knife though which I found odd, but no biggie.I browsed the selections, and since I'm not a big fan of fried buffet items, I proceeded to go for the shrimp etoufee first with white rice. It was a bit watery but still good with a nice spicy kick and a good amount of shrimp. As a matter of fact I had 2 bowls. After that, I went for some sushi that had crabmeat, avocado, and shrimp spring rolls. Very good, although the selection could be broader, but I was extremely glad there was that yummy peanut sauce. Next, I gave in and had fried rice, noodles, pepper steak, and General Tso chicken. It was also fresh and definitely not old food (as in some buffets I've been to that are terrible). By the way, there are egg rolls, miso soup, Mongolian beef, egg drop soup, orange chicken, egg foo young, fried dumplings, etc., that all looked good to be honest, but I didn't try because I'm not too much into fried stuff. Finally, I had a couple of those little mini chocolate and vanilla cakes (nothing spectacular), coconut macaroons (this is good), and swirled ice cream. The grand total in cash including soda is $16.25 and plus a tip comes out to a cool $20. Will DEFINITELY be back, and is very worth it. Cleanliness is top notch, and they're friendly."
"I was impressed with the food here. There are multiple options for Chinese chicken. My favorites were chicken on a stick, beef and broccoli, general Tso chicken, egg rolls, & potatoes. They also have sushi and hibachi options. Service was good. They have a separate room for large tables. Lots of seating room overall. Would come here again. On a weekend it was ~$20 per person including soft drinks."
"Changed owners and food quality went down for a few weeks but to my surprise they are back to normal. Good food. Good sushi. Great service. Thank you for listening."
"This is my favorite chinese food in the country! Having been USMC for twenty years, traveling from one Coast to another for and then serving additional ten in Civil Service, I have tasted many variations of Kung Pao Chicken (SPICY, with peanuts of COURSE). Chinese Golden Dragon Buffet L14. Kung Pao Chicken When I tell you that this is the absolutely very, Very best KUNG PAO CHICKEN I have ever eaten, made, or ever TASTED. I am very particular about about how I like my sauce. Usually it is made too sweet (UGH!), too salty (bitter - even worse), or most often, just LACKING. Lacking the right ingredients. Lacking the know-how, or it feels like the chef is experimenting on your taste buds. BUT, this ONE place does it right!!!New Orleans may be home to the best Southern cooking in the world, but the Chinese Golden Dragon Buffet @ 100 S Tyler St., Covington, LA 70433, is THE #1 SPOT to go for the best KUNG PAO CHICKEN, (I like mine with peanuts.)"
"We always receive the best service from Alyce. She is always so friendly and knowledgeable. The bathroom is usually clean and the food is usually fresh. Very friendly service. Will return often."
