We stopped in here for the first time this afternoon with no expectations and ended up quite impressed with the quick service, high quality, and coastal ambiance. We got gumbo and a couple burgers washed down with a few drinks. Our waitress Trish was so warm and friendly and made sure that we (and our pup) were well tended to!We can't wait to come back again over summer!

For our anniversary dinner in a new area of Louisiana we just picked the closest place and it's a hidden gem. The platter was so much food we had to bring some home! Everything was awesome and cut atmosphere. Service is awesome and quick. I didn't take a pic but trust me it beats the other seafood places near New Orleans, LA.

The cutest little restaurant! I ordered their Cajun Quesadilla, and it was so amazing. The servers are the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet. 10/10!

Service is very slow but the burgers, fries and onion rings were so delicious that it made up for the long wait (~1.5 hours after we ordered).

I've heard from several that have had great experiences and we were excited to try it out. The atmosphere is wonderful and it's exciting to have a restaurant on the water in our area. The view is so peaceful and lovely. I'll give 3 stars for that alone and hope that the other things improve with time or that maybe it was an off day. The restaurant is very comfortable, clean, and cute. They have done a great job with making it feel nice and welcoming. There were two servers that were both lovely; however, service was slow, which almost is to be expected, dining out anywhere these days in my opinion, so that alone is just something to mention, but not a dealbreaker. They were out of several items which again I run into more frequently than not these days at many restaurants. One thing that really stood out as problematic was that there is no kids menu. My husband and I dined together on this visit with our two girls, my mom, and my sister and her three girls. Our five girls range and ages from 3 to 8. They were out of pizza crust so that would've probably been a natural choice given no children's menu, but instead we got mozzarella sticks, a chicken tender meal, and french fries. My two are pescatarian so I asked if it was possible to get a side of noodles considering they serve pasta and they said that was not an option, but suggested for me to get one of the dinner portion pasta entrees ($17) and ask for the sauce on the side which I did. When the pasta dish came out tossed in the sauce instead of separate from the noodles, the server apologized and acknowledged the mistake, but tried to suggest that it was less sauce on it than normal and to accept it. I was nice but firm that this needed it to be remade since it was for a child and there was a lack of other suitable options and since I was already paying $17 for noodles and know she wouldn't eat it served that way. She took it back and it came out with noodles in garlic butter instead of plain noodles but several of the kids ended up liking them so it turned out to be a win., though we never did receive the crawfish sauce on the side that we paid for/requested. We did not care for their charbroiled oysters, which I will chalk up to personal preference (super cheesy and not a lot of flavor outside of cheese). The appetizer of fried crab claws was delicious. The seafood gumbo was fine, and ended up being one of the favored things we had. We had onion rings which were fine and mozzarella sticks were standard. My husband had a burger that ended up being well done, which he ordered medium, but he kept and ate it because we were very hungry by this point. My sister had a bowl of gumbo for her meal (versus our cups of gumbo which came earlier as apps) and we had to keep asking for it well after all of the other entrées and food were served. There were other folks dining, but also several open tables as well, so I would not say the duration of our experience was due to being overly busy. We had to request everything we needed from menus, to silverware, to extra napkins, to more water, to requesting dishes to be taken from the table, and then ask for boxes well after we had stopped eating. The courses of food took a long time to come out--the entirety of our meal from arrival to departure was 2 1/2 hours. My husband ordered a beer on draft, then it was discovered the keg was out and needed to be changed so they asked us to wait a little while. We were later told that they didn't have anyone able to change the keg. We asked for another beer and the keg for that one was also out. I've seen some photos of dishes posted that look delicious and I ended up wishing I had ordered a salad because those always looked fresh and great in photos online. The food we received was mediocre, though I would return and order differently and hope for a better experience if just for the atmosphere and proximity. This restaurant is still pretty new and there are obvious kinks that need to be worked out. We hope to see improvement in the future when we return.

food is expensive - to go orders are automatically charge 20% tip. its not bad for the area. pizza is good, burgers are good. they do a good lasagna special. the 12 oz ribeye looks sad and its about 1/4" to 1/2" thick. today i paid 8$ for a slice of frozen store-bought chocolate cake that taste like it has been sitting in the fridge all week. one bite and went to the trash. we used to order more often since the plant being built is close by but now we only order when we want pizza. went after work one day ordered a crown and sprite. came out in glass that i was informed was meant for doubles, should have been offered a free shot because why would make in that glass to begin with.would like to add the owner contacted me and made everything right!!! thanks!!!

Absolutely a "Diamond In The Rough". Sitting rather off the main highway and you have to look for the sign. GPS will always get you here and it is absolutely worth it. My favorite dish has to be the Cajun Quesadillo. Wonderful meal and the onion rings and sauce are the icing on the cake for a Quesadillo like this. I had a coworker / friend that ordered the Shrimp Po-Boy and "IT WAS HUGE" ( 12" or more ). He said it was good. I have a very unusual complaint. The bathroom is VERY clean and presentable. My only drawback was THE URINAL IS MOUNTED TOO DAMN HIGH. If your 6 feet tall your fine but my 5'-7" self has a problem. Unless your "hung like a donkey and can throw it over the ceramic lip at the bottom, your wind up pissing like a little boy pretending to be a Fireman , up and over". Only other option is a stool and being 61 years old, I don't stand on a step-stool while doing my business. I KNOW this sounds funny but "IT'S TRUE". Drop it down about 8" to and you will make a lot of us feel like "grown men". Don't get offend folks, I am just being honest. Overall this place is AWESOME.
