This is one of my must stop places whenever I go to NOLA. The smash burgers are so tasty. The Brussel sprouts come in a sweet and savory sauce and are roasted to perfection. Happy hour is a great time to drop in and get a good deal. Service is always super fast and friendly. There are cool posters on the walls, as well as old school video game cabinets. 80s music in the background is always fantastic too.

Savory. Sensational. Bub's is a symphony of swift service. In the bustling heart of Mid-City lies a culinary sanctuary, a beacon of gastronomic grace known as Bub's Burgers. A paragon of punctuality, Bub's is the rare establishment where one can procure perfection without pause. From the moment I place my takeout order, I am invariably astonished at how swiftly I am whisked in and out in mere minutes, yet never a sacrifice of quality.Bub's brilliance, however, transcends mere speed. Their meticulous attention to customer preferences is nothing short of masterful. Pickles, an unwelcome interloper to my palate, are not only banished from my burger but replaced with a delightful bounty of extra cheese. Such deft adjustments, delivered without hesitation, demonstrate a remarkable rapport between Bub's and their devoted clientele. And then there is the crowning touch: a pile of Duke's mayonnaise, the aristocrat of condiments. It graces the condiments table as a tower of tang, an opulent offering that transforms a simple burger into an artful indulgence. Bub's instinct to provide only the finest accoutrements solidifies its status as a standout in the realm of quick-service cuisine. On rare, revelatory occasions, I surrender myself to the sumptuous seduction of the Peanut Bubber. This transcendent treat is a feast of flavor, a concoction so decadently divine that I find myself lost in a private reverie, reveling in the glorious gluttony it encourages. Each bite is a riot of rich, sweet ecstasy .... a moment of unbridled indulgence that lingers long after the meal is gone. The atmosphere at Bub's is a playful mix of past and present, where quirky, nostalgic touches seamlessly blend with modern-day flair. But the real gem? The retro arcade, where time stands still, and games like NFL BLITZ take you back to a simpler, more pixelated era. After devouring a Bub's burger, there's nothing quite like grabbing the joystick and immersing yourself in a round of vintage football--it's an experience where the thrill of the game and the savor of the food come together in a perfect, joyful collision of old-school fun and full-bellied contentment. If there is one fleeting lament, it is the dearth of merchandise--a deficiency that, should it be rectified, would surely allow patrons like myself to proudly parade their allegiance to Bub's beyond the confines of the kitchen. Bub's, after all, deserves to be worn as much as it deserves to be eaten.Bub's Burgers, haven of haste and hedonism, is the culinary crown jewel of Banks Street.

I recently visited Bub's Burgers in New Orleans, and I have to say, the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The service was top-notch--friendly and attentive, which made me feel right at home. To my pleasant surprise, I walked in during happy hour, which only added to the delight!I ordered the burger with the sauce on the side and their homemade pickles, and everything was absolutely delicious. The brioche buns tasted freshly baked, soft yet sturdy, and the pickles were clearly made with love. The burger itself was generously sized, with a perfect balance between the juicy patty and the bun--exactly how I like it. My order came out quickly, and I decided to enjoy it outside, soaking in the relaxed atmosphere. The interior of Bub's is beautifully decorated, and while waiting, you can entertain yourself with nostalgic arcade games--a fun throwback to childhood that really added to the charm of the place. The combination of great food, warm service, and a laid-back vibe makes Bub's an absolute gem. I'll definitely be back! Bon appétit!

We had a hankering for good burgers so we drove down from the Garden district to Mid-city for Bub's. May I just say their burgers are one of the best smash burgers I have ever had?! I had the royale- which are two patties, bib lettuce, red onion, pickles and their homemade sauce. Everything was soo good- esp the pickles. I know right- the pickles! My hubby had the peanut bubber. He said it was phenomenal!! It had 2 patties, bacon, cheese, peanut butter and jelly!! Their fries were also made right! No crazy seasoning- you season it yourself. The service was phenomenal and the ambience is pretty chill. Not many tables so pls be patient.

My son and I decided to check this spot out on a beautiful Nola day. We had previously gotten bubs before but hadn't been back in awhile. The banks location is so cute. They have the outdoor seating and then indoor seating as well. We ended up getting the bub burger and he got the microdose. You can't forget the fries! Both the burgers were delicious. The fries reminded me of McDonald's fries, but better. We sat outside, enjoyed our meal and the day. Service was great, food was great, we will be back! Another place that I can now frequent with my toddler! #winning

Honestly, the food was OK, but I've had much better burger, fries, and brussels sprouts in New Orleans. Even with the sauce on the burger, I felt like it was really dry and the edges of the burger were also burnt. I really wanted to like it, but it didn't hit like I wanted. The price point was fair and the service was really great. The ambience was really unique and they have games inside if you're into arcade games. Very casual neighborhood spot!Overall, I'll probably stick to my other fav burger spots.

I'd seen Bubs advertised in Instagram and it looked delicious (although my friend said it is overrated). But I still wanted to try for myself. Ordered Buns via DoorDash. Food arrived about 7 minutes from the time it was picked up by the Dasher.l so everything was still warm when it arrived.I ordered the Bub Royale$13, Peanut Bubber $16 and side of Brussels sprouts $8.Everything was good and presented nicely. The Brussels were good - lots of the crispy charred leaves, which are delicious.Burger patties could have been seasoned better but overall a good meal for just under $40.

Of course I went back. You can't beat this deal. I went back for happy hour again unfortunately They went up on the Bub Burger deal from $5 to $6 but it's still a bargain. You can't beat it It's the best in the city and this time I tried the crispy brussels which were delicious. Service is always consistent. You go to the counter you put your order in. You sit down and call your number and ambience of the restaurant is cool. Kind of funky with the arcade games and plenty of TVs. If you want to sit down and watch sports or anything they have on what else can I say this is go to spot for smashburgers in the city for me.

I went to Bub's for lunch to get a Peanut Bubber. If you have never had a peanut butter burger, you should try one someday. The place is pretty cool with some old school posters and video games. The service is ok, since you just place your order and go sit down. You're on your own from that point. I ordered the Peanut Bubber, an order of fries, and a Diet Coke. My total was $23. It was good, got my peanut butter burger fix, but no way near worth 23 bucks. They have a happy hour T-F 2:00pm until 5 for a $5 classic burger. If I ever go back, I will go during that time. Way way way overpriced.

This spot has a cool arcade vibe, complete with arcade games and the Fallout video game playing on the TV. It's a bit small inside, but that just adds to the atmosphere--after all, as the saying goes, the smaller the club, the bigger the party.Upon entering, you'll quickly reach the ordering window. The service was fast, and the staff was patient as I decided on my order. For my first visit, I went with the double patty burger with cheese, bacon, and BBQ sauce, accompanied by a glass bottle of Barq's root beer. The burger was delicious, and the fries were fresh and perfectly seasoned. The food definitely gets my FYE STAMP!Oh yea it was very hot inside, it looks like it's been that way for awhile, I hope they fix it soon
