What a find - I had read they have one of the best Po'boys in city, so I had to try out. We ordered the special that day (red beans and rice with sausage), roast beef Po'boy, and mac and cheese. Would rank the Po'boy up there just based on bread. It was the perfect chew and heft to soak up the gravy. The mac and cheese though was the big winner! Melted cheese and unique pasta strands that melded into cheesey yumminess.

Good delivery order: half roast beef poboy with a side of baked macaroni. WOW. Very good. Curious to know what. Read they use-excellent. I can't wait to try the Italian dishes.

Friendly and quick service in a setting with a very local feel. The daily specials are all amazing, but I had to try the NOLA Special poboy. I was a bit apprehensive, because I don't tend to mix up my shrimp poboys with other meats, but I must say this works! It's like a traditional fried shrimp on French, but with added spice and extra substance from the hot sausage patties. Just get it and thank me later. Pro tip: they have parking on the side off Broad Street.

A great lunch spot. The dining room is quaint but still a bit sophisticated, think white table cloths. The food was absolutely delicious, I enjoyed a poboy on soft chewy bread with just a sprinkle of sesame seeds, crisp on the edges, still juicy hot sausage and plump fried shrimp dressed with perfection. After multiple breaks, I was able to finish it! The service was friendly and helpful. I felt treated like family which reminds me of the New Orleans of my childhood. Totally recommend. And we will be back!

A great little lunch spot! I had a cheeseburger and fries, while my mom had the red beans & rice with a fried pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection! The portion sizes are generous and the staff is super friendly!

Delicious food, friendly service and a great New Orleans atmosphere. Troy is an excellent chef. Have literally known him all my life and have never eaten anything he cooked that wasn't good. Go get y'all some!

The red beans & rice with a fried pork chop is to die for. Very delicious. My new lunch spot when I'm in the city. Staff is very polite and professional. If you haven't been there, you need to stop in and give them a try. Clean bathrooms, and resturant.

I heard about Brocato's in the "Where Y'at Magazine". I was very interested in trying this local restaurant due to it competing with one of the well known establishments, Parkway Bakery for best Roastbeef poyboy. So, I visited twice, last week and this week and tried the sausage/chicken gumbo (dark roux), fried catfish, potato salad and Roastbeef poyboy. All were delicious and the Roastbeef poyboy reminded me of how long time ago Schwegmann Bros. Giant Supermarket restaurant used to cook their Roastbeef. The food is very flavorable, delicious. The restaurant is very clean, courteous staff and Cherie served me on both occasions. I was most shocked when she told me that she has a booth out at Jazz Fest called, TCA Brocato, LLC where they sell some more specialized dishes. I must admit that I have seen the booth but never tried and I will definitely be a customer whenever I attend Jazz Fest. They participate in many local festivals Treme, Gretna and I reviewed this info on their Facebook, Brocato's Kitchen".The restaurant is worth trying and I will continue to taste some of their special and regular dishes offered. I highly recommend.

Really expected the glowing newspaper write-up to pack this place, but when we showed up toward the end of a weekday lunch hour, most of the tables were empty. The owners and staff are clearly very eager to make this place a winner, and have the chops to back it up, but I worry that this particular address may be a "doomed location" judging by the turnover in recent years.Roast beef po-boys? Excellent. With a little tweaking they could achieve greatness. Plenty drippy and well-seasoned, as expected, but it's a waiting game to see if Orleans Parish residents (locals) will dub it a Top Fiver dish. Lots of competition in this arena, so you either beat 'em or distinguish yourself with something completely different. Brocato's is going for the former.

Stopped by this cute place after getting documents notarized at Bergeron notary upstairs. Mainly traditional New Orleans fare, but some vegetarian options. I had the caprese po boy with potato salad-- nice crisp bread, fresh veggies, and a delicious pesto sauce! I am looking gorward to trying their vegan gumbo, which has won the Treme Gumbo contest a few years in a row. The people are lovely and friendly, and the restaurant, including bathroom, was squeaky clean. Highly recommend!
