Their burgers are really good. Sourdough soft bun. I never get mine toasted. The mac and cheese is penne which I think is overwhelming and big. A nice shell would be better because their cheese is so good but most ends up at the bottom of plate and a shell would hold it better. Worth getting though. Place looks clean. They have a pool table in a separate room that looks clean and bright as well. You order at cashier station and then have a seat and then go pick up when called. I will return. Not very loud in there like a Texas roadhouse either. I can't recall music playing.

Been to here many times and one thing I can ALWAYS say is consistency. It doesn't matter what you get, it's going to be good. Tonight ordered a Jalapeño melt, never had it before and it was extremely delicious. It didn't disappoint for sure. The jalapeños were not hot or spicy but gave a great flavor. The service was extremely friendly and quick to get our food out tonight. The atmosphere was quiet as there wasn't many people in the restaurant at the time we were there. Don't let that fool you, because this place is normally pretty packed. I do forget about this place but this place is definitely a go to place.

Had lunch with former coworkers yesterday. We were a party of 6. You order at the counter and give your name and your name is called when your order is ready. We ordered 2 hamburger steak specials, which is a 10oz patty covered with grilled onions and au jus plus mashed potatoes and gravy with green beans and 2 buttered French bread slices. Another peer ordered a warm turkey and cheese wrap fully dressed with ranch dressing add avocados plus a side of thin crispy onion rings. Another peer ordered a jalapeño burger with pepper jack cheese plus a side of French fries. The final member ordered a French dip roast beef po boy with au jus and an additional dipping sauce with a side of French fries. The favorites of the visit were as follows: the special was tasty, filling and we left clean plates. The turkey and cheese wrap was delicious and filling according to my peer and she took half home. She said the second half was just as tasty cold at home. All in all we enjoyed the casual atmosphere, fair prices, and food we all enjoyed. I look forward to a return visit.

Absolutely delicious and the staff was WONDERFUL! I travel for work and stumbled across this restaurant because the parking lot was packed! I ate at the bar and felt completely comfortable and enjoyed a delicious burger and sweet potato fries. Highly recommend!!

Julie seriously loves the potato skins here. We went way out of our way for them! It's a big restaurant with a lot of seating! Walk up to the counter to order, they are good at getting your order right. It's clean but the floor could use a fresh coat of paint. It's fun they call out the customers names when their order is ready. My two complaints are 1 they cut your burger in half, and 2 they give you a glass of ice with some soda in it rather than a glass of soda with some ice in it pretty minor complaints. It's a good size menu and the food is good. Food is fresh, bathrooms are clean and plenty of parking.

Just had the worst shrimp poboy ever! I had to give them 1 star but in reality they don't deserve 1 star. The bread was old and stale. The person took my order got it completely wrong!! I had to wait for her to correct the order while watching everyone else eat!! I won't be back!! Ascension has too many other great restaurants than this dump!! Save your money and don't waste your time dining here!!

If you can't find something you like on this menu, you have problems. I got the Cajun Fish, which was crawfish etouffee over fried fish, a twice baked potato and salad. It was delicious! My husband got the Cowboy burger, he said it was good. It's huge! Skinny onion rings (onion strings) were well seasoned and perfectly crunchy. The girl at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. For some reason I felt like I was in a bowling alley, not in a bad way. Just a fun, family friendly atmosphere with good food!
