On our drive through Longbeach to NOLA we wanted casual seafood. So when you ask a seafood wholesaler at the pier where they go for casual good seafood & they recommend a gas station, you have to try it. VERY glad we did. At noon the parking lot was packed and the line was nearly out the door. I had never had "reds" - a unique shrimp that was to have lobster like texture and flavor. I ordered their steamed to order reds platter. While in line regulars talked me into trying the crawfish & boudin balls. You buy the cooked crawfish by the pound & they scoop them out of a huge tub, still hot from being recently cooked. Wow - seasoning was special & the crawfish cooked perfectly. The boudin balls were exceptional.The reds platter was huge!! A pound plus of shrimp, corn, potatoes, sausage. It was piping hot! Crazy good - shrimp indeed had a firmer texture and a sweetness akin to lobster. Dipped in the butter & it was even more like lobster. I tried to quit a couple times but the seasoning was addictive I ate every shrimp.It was so good we came back a second time on our travels from NOLA!!

We stumbled across Bradley's while staying in the area. I'm a huge fan of Cajun food and can confirm Bradley's was top notch. We go the Royal platter, a shrimp plate, fried chicken sandwich, potato wedges, and two boudin balls all for only $44. The portions were large, everything tasted outstanding, and it was all made fresh. The seasoning was plentiful, but not too spicy or overpowering. Only thing that would have made it better would have been a hot sauce offering. Michigan could certainly use a Bradley's, but until that happens, my kids are already asking me to start making boudin at home!

What a hidden gem in disguise!! First night arriving in Long Beach from NJ. My husband yelped for a a place that was open by the time we arrived around 8 o'clock. We drove to a Shell station and there was Bradley's quick shop and deli Cajun seafood. I thought to myself "I'm not eating here" she ordered fried chicken with mash potatoes and gravy. He said it was pretty good. He's a picky eater. I didn't order anything. But I as starving. A customer walked out and complimented them for their delicious food. A couple of days later I thought, "I have to try this place before I leave and so I did.

Got a shrimp poboy and some onion rings! One of the best shrimp poboys, bread was just right, and shrimp was seasoned perfectly! I'm also picky about onion rings, and was pleasantly impressed with the flavor and crunch. Service was excellent, and everyone was so nice!

Some of the best brisket I've had! This is inside a gas station, but they have so many FRESH options! Boiled or fried seafood, po boys, bbq plates, and more! I had the brisket plate with Mac & cheese (so creamy!) and coleslaw (saucy but with the right crisp bite!). The Brisket was so flavorful and fork tender, it was perfect with their bbq sauce! I also got an order of potato logs, cause they looked so good! They were not too oily, very crunchy with a soft inside. The staff were so friendly and everything was clean and filled up regularly. There are some tables inside, that are nothing fancy, but a nice place to enjoy your food hot! Prices were great too!

Got rerouted on our road trip to New Orleans and came across this gem! You wouldn't expect the variety of food at a gas station, but here it is. Great prices, friendly staff. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars because the shrimp were a little overcooked.

Ate once and had a shrimp po-boy and it was great. Went back and had a 9 inch roast beef poboy and was very disappointed. They had 2 small pieces of beef on the sandwich. I nicely went to the counter and ask for a couple more pieces and the MANAGER said the kitchen staff couldn't do it. The MANAGER! knew I was being lied to. Will never go back because of this and I'm a local who likes to eat, so they just lost a lot of business over 2 extra pieces of roast beef that maybe would have cost them $1-$2. Very poor service.

Well, the food is probably the best take out seafood in the county. for the money. Crawfish prices are lowest, but I would like it more spicy. The problem with the place is that they are slower than grandma waiting on Christmas. Never seem to have enough people at the counter. Sorry, but not sharpest knives in drawer either. But he hires old folks who need the work so that is good. Just do not go in there for incidentals because they have bare minimum and you will have to wait. Pay at pump.
