So, it's been 5 years since my last review. Food is still great . They've also added a few items to the menu (sliders are super solid). I come pretty often and the service has gotten much better. Also, if you like tea, do yourself a favor a get a Mr. Tea Time daiquiri.

Cute little spot!!! They have amazing meat pies served with a side of crema!!! So amazing. One guy working when we visited so by the time we left he was swamped! 2 of the 3 frozen daiquiri machines weren't working, so Mr. Tea Time it was!!! All made to order stuff, so be prepared for a wait depending on what's ordered. Great stop on our trolley tour.

I paid for a meal at Bourree and then posted this review but somehow Yelp keeps flagging and deleting my review even though I have attached a photo of my receipt proving that I'm reviewing an experience I paid for. This is also not to mention that I have been eating the food at Bourree for decades and I have a far longer experience in the area than Yelp has been in existence. Perhaps someone with actual reading comprehension can look at this review without deleting it AGAIN. Bourree Cajun Smokehouse is an expansion of Chef Nathanial Zimet's Boucherie Restaurant which is right at the end of the block and around the corner. The building that Bourree is currently in was an Italian restaurant for a long time that opened back in the 90's called Café Nino that was run by the owner Chef Nino who was a fantastic fellow. Café Nino was a cash only dive joint where you selected from the daily entrees on display in a cafeteria style buffet and they also had pizza. So I always have a hard time adjusting to the fact that this spot is no longer Café Nino but is now Bourree. Now I have been eating the 12 Hour Roast Beef Po'Boy with horseradish cream & pickled red onion from Chef Zimet ever since he started selling it out of his purple food truck and at many of the local festivals. These days the only festival where they still sell their food is at the Oak Street Po-Boy Festival. So if you find yourself in the mood for a fantastic 12 hour roast beef po boy on Dong Phong banh mi bread this is the spot to get it! They also have some nice daquirie and beer options here. They also offer live music at certain times of the week so make sure to check their schedule for that. There are tables inside but they don't have a lot of space inside and the majority of their seating is located in front on their wonderful outdoor patio area. The menu is a bit concise here but they do have some nice items on offer here. This is also a great venue for events and I recently attended a nice one here. Overall this is a nice spot located in a beautiful area of the Riverbend right off St. Charles Avenue and is certainly worth checking out!

The headline here is my boyfriend saying "genuinely that is one of the WORST meals I've had in New Orleans." So sad to agree but it's so true. We wanted wings and one of the online article maybe "eater" listed this as some of the top wings in Nola, WRONG!the wings were a good size and crispy AF, but there was Zero flavor. Sauce was also too thin, it barely stuck. We got mango bbq and spicy buffalo. No flavor yall! The wedge salad was average. Spicy boudin was too dry. I felt the fries were over seasoned and needed to be eaten with a sauce but my boyfriend liked the fries. The service was good. Mostly one guy running it, he was fast and accurate and nice. Ambiance inside is terrible, kinda gross. It was dead in there also but we did go around 8. Spent $56 total. Waste of money sadly!

We went here on a Monday and arrived as it opened. One soul manned the counter and although out of quite a bit- made us a fabulous lunch. The weather was wonderful and we were able to sit outside while we ate and had a drink.

Disclaimer: I did not attend this event as a Yelp elite! I was invited by a friend and had no idea I was walking into my dream Yelp event... the vibe and music was amazing but because I wasn't a part of this event, I went to the bar to order. There was an extended wait but when we were finally notice our questions were answered and our order was taken. The timeliness of receiving our order was lengthy... my friend ordered sliders and I ordered the Fried Chicken Mayo Fries with a daiquiris. The fries were cooked in dated oil and seemed to have sat for a while. I expected something else. I'm still confused as to why they were named Fried Chicken fries the topping did not match. I will visit again to try the sliders and Brussels sprouts that was given to the attendees. They smelled amazing. I will return to give them another try. #iwritereviewsonEVERYTHING

Not sure what's going on here but we stopped in for a quick lunch. Place was empty. Ordered, waited 15ish minutes and then was told the roast beef we ordered was frozen. She did offer to make us something else but at that point we thought better to get refund and leave.

Bourree is our go to for wing takeout and they never disappoint. The wings are so fresh and flavorful as are the fries. All of their sauces are delicious. Make sure you ask for the ranch too!Love the fries as well although they are expensive and come in small portions. It's a little pricey for what they give you but they definitely care about the quality of their ingredients.

Really fun and relaxed barbecue place, perfect for takeout in the summer and great for picnic table dining when it's cooler. Really liked the bbq nachos and the barbecue pork sandwich. Nicely smoked meat, sauce that complements the meat. Decent selection of brews. You order up front and the food is delivered to your table. Casual and laid-back vibe.
