Bourne's Restaurant

Over priced for a VERY crowded place.. the service was ok. The food, however, not so much. The only decent I thing I ate there was some fried fish. Won't be wasting $22 on food I don't like ever again.

This is one of my most fave seafood restaurants! Great buffet, food is always delish!!!

I went here for the first time tonight and I will be back! The buffet had a great selection and everything I ate was awesome! The wait staff was nice, personable and attentive! I thought that the restaurant could use a facelift, as it is an old building... but be sure that all of that can be, and definitely should be, overlooked being that the food is so worth the trip! If you're craving great catfish (fried whole, fried filets or baked filets) or flavorful boiled crabs or shrimp, look no further than Bourne's Restaurant's seafood buffet. There is a menu option, and lots of southern food options, I did have the mashed potatoes and beef gravy with my catfish..... it was the bomb I'm sure it's all good, but I'm a seafood girl and I will always remain so!!!!! LOL For $27.99 (+ $5 for two snow crab clusters if you choose) where can you go wrong? Plan a trip here soon!!!!! You will not regret itThe only reason I didn't give a 5 review was because of the restaurant needing an upgrade and facelift.

Ate there tonight 10/29/20. Service was good. Food was HORRIBLE! Fried fish was greasy or too hard from being out too long or over cooked. Boiled shrimp was cold and had no taste. French fries was cold like they came out the refrigerator. Hush puppies were greasy and tasteless. Some food on the buffett was dried out from being there so long. Tarter sauce tasted like mayonnaise and pickle relish. Fried Alligator was tasteless and unseasoned. Candy yams were gross, no kind of flavor and not even sweet. Even the desserts were tasteless and gross. I spoke with the owner about the state of the food. He was very apologetic, offered gift certificates to his other resturants. Flat refused a cash refund. We spent $52 and some change to eat here and our time. We left feeling unfull and kinda sick to our stomaches like we had paid WAY to much for the state of the food! We will NEVER BE BACK!
