Ben's Pizza # 2

My go to for poboys! Never bought a pizza from them, going to have to try one one day.

Last visit, and would not recommend. Too bad that they have the best muffelattas in the parish. They rarely answer the phone and many times when they do they put you on hold or hang up. Pulled up still on hold and thinking they were busy, but the store is empty. When I asked the young lady why I was hung up on after a 4 min hold her answer was it was not me. Than I order and wait and they make phone orders that came in after I arrived before my order Will find a new place to get our muff's. Been coming here since I was a kid, too bad.

Little Caesar's had a 45 minute wait. Domino's had a two hour wait. Been living here my whole life, finally tried Ben's Pizza. Heard bad reviews (especially oily pizza from the Ben's Pizza in Arabi) so I did not expect much. But it went above my expectations. I was beyond impressed. It definitely shows a local pizza place because it was authentic and home made. The pizza was made well, cooked thoroughly, crunchy crust and on the bottom. Bite was a crunchy but chewy on top with a cheese stretch. Smelled amazing and food was hot!! The breadstick was great as well. Cooked evenly and seasoned just enough. Experiences with other people may be different. I did not enter the restaurant but everything from the packaging to the food was amazing and we got it in twenty minutes. I'm not a pizza person. The only pizza I ever loved was a local pizza place from New York which is why I always love local, made from scratch, home made type of pizza. It really shows and tastes different than from pre-made pizza.

So I am from here and when I visit home I often eat at places I did when I was growing up.....I bragged to my husband about this place. We called and ordered 2 po boys. I asked for extra maya and the sandwich was dry. The hot sausage patty was fried to hard. Most importantly, when I walked in, I wasn't greeted. The lady just looked at me with a piece of paper and a pen in her had.Never once said, can I help you......It was an all around bad experience. I guess I can scratch this place of my list of places to eat when I go home

If I could put a 0 rating I would, this I the most foulest location I've been too!. Bens pizza meraux, Louisiana location isn't what it used to be anymore,I recently ordered food and everything was dry when I arrived home to my family to serve the bead was falling apart and the food was so dry. When I called I got nothing but rude employees and the manager was not so much of help. You can tell there all friends there because of the way the manager was protecting the employees and defending there every mistake. When all I tried to do was get them to fix it and it would of all been over with. Me and my family have been st bernard residents our whole life and bens meraux used to be good now it seems to be ran by kids who don't know what there doing. But that is definitely bad management. I will definitely be in contact with the fda and other sources about how I was treated and talked to over the phone by there team leader.

Assembly line pizza with pre made crust .. strictly only used if all other options are unavailable. But they do deliver and have decent poboys and sides

Great pizza, and I allways got to get a french fry poboy when im there. Great freindly service

Great food but they never answer the phone. I always get the poboys but have to call every 10 minutes to hope and pray someone will take my order

They got good food but there's mildew and black mold growing on the ceiling tiles. Good tamales but they need to clean up their restaurant. Sometimes you can smell the mildew when walking through the doors.

Order pizza over the phone smelled real good and was really hot got home and the pepperoni pizza was horrible the dough was pre made frozen dough it was my first time trying this place it's been around since I was a kid and to be in business that long though it would be good please don't try the pizza it's nasty
