Delicious authentic Nigerian food! I've always wanted to try fufu and other Nigerian dishes and I'm glad I chose this spot to give a try. The owner is very nice and patient. I think right now they're only doing takeout, which worked great for me because that's my preference. Anyway all the food was delicious and flavorful. My favorite things was the jollof rice and chicken. I am looking forward to going back to try fufu with other types of soup! It felt great being a bit connected to my ancestral roots through cuisine.

Probably the only African Restaurant in Baton around. Located in east BR, you would probably never see the place unless you're looking for it. It's about 100 yards off the main road along the side of a shopping center. A real hole in the wall type place. My favorite. We arrived right after noon and the place was closed but offered a a phone number to ope. We called and the proprietor arrived in about 4 minutes. She was friendly and really to cook. She explained the items and we made our choice. Fufu and egusi soup is recommended for beginners. We had both chicken and beef and opted for the spicy option. The beef was my favorite by far. The spice was present but not overpowering. The place also offers a ton of drink options, many of which you may have never heard of. Stop by and give this place a try. It's been around a long time and is a great spot for lunch.

First time trying this place and I really enjoyed what I got! My friends and I shared the Jollof rice with chicken, the Egusi soup with beef, and the Ogbono (okra) soup with goat. Sooo flavorful!!! I requested extra spice and it was the right amount! They will charge extra for spice. The woman who checked me out recommended the Ogbono soup and it was my favorite of the three. I loved the consistency the okra gave it and the flavor was just there. The goat was soo tender too! I had this with the fufu to scoop. Each soup came with its own fufu and it was plenty to share around. The fried plantains were not as soft as I expected it to be and not sweet enough, but she did warn me beforehand and told me it's because it's not in season right now. This location may be hard to locate even with GPS, but just find the automobile shop and turn into the strip mall. I will definitely be coming back to try their other dishes!

I definitely will return to try other dishes. This dish was delicious. The pricing was a little different from what showed online but that was ok. I really wanted to try the dish and glad I did.

Food is lack luster and the lady running it is SUPER RUDE! You have to call in an order ahead of time because you can't dine in or order take out ahead of time because of covid, but then she pitches a fit if you aren't there when it's ready. I ordered the okra soup and egusi soup with fufu and it was okay at best. I've been there twice and have had bad experiences both times. If I could give zero stars I would.

I ordered jollof rice with chicken and plantains and fish pepper soup with fufu over the phone and it was ready in 20 minutes. I did not catch her name but the owner was very sweet and we had a great conversation while she packaged my food to go! Everything was very fresh and hot even when I got home. The chicken was tender and juicy. The jollof was more tomatoey and not as spicy as I am accustomed to but decent and a fairly large portion. I probably could have asked for it to be spicy. The plantains were good as well. The pepper soup brought the heat!! Wasn't much but it was the perfect amount and the fufu was filling too! All this food for $20. Def going back for more soup and to retry a spicer jollof. She did recommend cash next time because the card reader gives her trouble sometimes.
