Bayou Blue PO Boys

The people here are so nice! The roast beef is savory and tender. Good plate lunches! The roast beef poboy had a lot of gravy but barely any roast beef. Will try this place again in the future to see if maybe this was just a one-off.

Absolutely best out of this world roast beef po boy I have ever ate! My dad always says if it ain't dipping down your elbows it ain't worth it !! Not sure how many napkins I used maybe the whole roll!!

A dressed po-boy usually does not include ketchup, but they like it here. I ordered mine with no ketchup, add pickles. Really? You gotta ask for pickles? Whatever- it's a GOOD sandwich!!I had fish on a bun (a full po-boy is a lot!) with tater tots and a couple of boudin balls. The sandwich has the perfect combination of lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, but could use a couple more pickles. The tater tots are perfectly crispy, as is the fish in the sandwich. The boudin balls are not great. Not too spicy, but the meat/rice mixture is a bit "creamy" and odd. A bit of a turn-off for me. Counter service is great - very friendly and helpful. When you order, they will tell you what "dressed" means (so you don't get surprised by having ketchup), and will repeat your order back to you to be sure it's right. And relatively quick, too. I didn't sample the plate lunch, but it looks good. Next time I'm in this area, I'll be back. Skip the boudin balls, come for the po-boys. It's worth it!!

Decided to stop by finally...it's a very small place, fair amount of seating. Super busy around 11 when I went. The roast beef is deli sliced roast beef, which I'm a huge fan of, although it was lacking roast beef big time. There was little to no roast beef on my poboy, but the flavor was outstanding. Fries are good, a large order is a little bit much for one person. My dad says the shrimp poboy was "alright" that he wouldn't get it again-I don't know if I would believe him. $31 for 2 large meals, no fountain drinks...bottled or canned drinks. They have a nice menu, plenty things that I wouldn't mind trying. Overall not a bad choice for lunch

Well, what is there to say?! I love Po Boys sandwiches. So, we headed to this place to get Po boys for dinner. The inside had a few small tables and then about four or five picnic tables outside. We called our order in and headed that way. They had the Po boys ready when we got there. The Cashier was very nice and friendly. We truly enjoyed our Po boys when we got home. They sure were messy! I had to eat mine with a fork and knife.

Great food! Amazing customer service! Best Roast Beef Poboys in town! Needs to be opened more hours of the day!

Been eating here over 20 years! Best in the business, no doubt!! If you've never gone I would definitely recommend, you won't regret it!!

It had been many years since I ate at bayou blue poboy. A really good friend of mine suggested that we go there and catch up we both have been doing busy. The roast beef poboy is in a league all its own. I must warn you have plenty of napkins lol. I get them all over and it's truly the best I've had planning on going back this week. ..
