Great first experience. Love the concept. Loved the food. Had the beef rolls (not fried) with the house sauce. (tangy)Bread was crispy. Veggies were crunchy. The pickled daikon and carrot were the only thing that wasn't outstanding. They were a lot more tangy than typical. Still good, though. The char-siu banh mi I had was good, but the pork was more "pulled pork" char-siu style. Still good, just not what I was expecting from char-siu. Overall, still a 5 star experience.

What no one tells you in the review for this place: YES, great sandwiches but also: big tv at the bar so if sports bars next door are too loud/crowded, this is my spot!Grilled shrimp Bahn mi and the tofu spring roll are my faves- you can eat super healthy here if you go shrimp salad and spring rollsFeels good not to walk out feeling ill like so many places on magazine

I really love Banh Mi Boys for their fries. The fries are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with tons of flavor from their various toppings. The "K-Town fries" are fantastic! It has steak, fried egg, and delicious sauces on it that boost their fries to another level! Some of the best fries in the city!I've tried the steak and egg noodle bowl at this location. It was good, but I probably would stick to their banh mi and fries. I just don't think it's anything to write home about.

I absolutely love Banh Mi Boys. Pretty much everything on the menu is good but here are my unmissable favorites: bang bang shrimp poboy/banh mi, the k-town fries, and the ooey gooey cake bread pudding. Soooo good. Service is always quick and super friendly.I do enjoy this location because there's so much indoor seating. Lots of outdoor seating too for nice days, unlike the OG location where it's outside or nothing. I'll keep coming back as long as they are in business!

We had just made it into town..... it had been a long day so we decided to door dash. The food arrived quickly. It was very tasty and well plated especially for a ride across town to the hotel! He got the K town Fries and I got the Loco Moco. I wish there had been some black pepper with the utensils for the gravy but honestly the mix in mine of the egg spam and meat was fantastic alone I just really like a little more spice. Also got the wontons which were fabulous!

I have ordered delivery from Banh Mi Boys several times now, and have been very satisfied with the delivery (Thank You, Door Dash) and the food, each and every time. The sandwiches are tasty, and different. Today, we ordered three Specialty Vietnamese Banh Mi: Char Sui ($13.88, Chinese BBQ), Bulgogi ($15.44, Korean Marinated Beef), and Chicken Katsu ($15.44, Fried Chicken Breast). For myself, next time I order, I will get fewer veggies on each sandwich, I think they mask the taste of the star of the show, the BBQ and the Beef. The Banh Mi Co-Star is certainly the delicious bread, from Leidenheimer Bakery. There just isn't any better po-boy bread, it really contributes to the success of the sandwich. So, I can't review Banh Mi Boys' location - looks nice from the photos - but the food is very good, and I can recommend it. A very solid Four Stars.

Bahn Mi Boys is exceptional. The food is amazing; banh mis in general are good, but wow, this place really hits the spot. They have multiple fry options coated in a bunch of atypical, but amazingly delicious options; some are better than others, but really that's just personal preference. The service is fine, order at the counter, take it to a table or to-go. The place itself is in a cool part of Magazine street; the indoor decor is fine, nothing exceptional, but none of this matters when you realize how amazing the food is. If we lived closer, we would probably go at least once a week if my waistline would allow it. Often forgotten by (or not recommended to) tourists because it's not cajun food, but really that is a shame because it is probably the best "fast" / to-go food in the city.

Great location! Candace service is amazing! The food is sooooo good. We had beef spring rolls, Honey Sriracha shrimp Banh Mi and baby....... It is sooooooo good. My hubby had the crack Cajun fried (meh) they were just fries, (nothing to write home about) and Chicken Katsu Dear Heaven.... Sooooo soooo sooo flavorful. This place is full of flavors. Come see for yourself.

i was a little disappointed in my first time getting food from here. I ordered a pork bahn mi and i'm just unsure about it. i thought the pork had a weird texture and taste to it. I did enjoy the other toppings on my bahn mi i thought the carrots and daikon were good. i would like to try a different meat if i ever get the chance to come back as i had high hopes for here.

Savory and delicious eats in a cozy setting on Magazine Street--Banh Mi Boys always provides us with quality foods and quick service. We ordered the loaded fries, chicken katsu banh mi, lemongrass tofu bowl, and chicken katsu plate (off the menu but the waitress had no problem putting in a special request!). The rice was a little undercooked but everything else we ordered was delicious and tasty! 9/10 recommend!
