What a great place to get Banh Mi around the New Orleans area. My favorite item was the bang bang shrimp as it was perfectly size, the shrimp was crispy and huge and flavorful, the veggies were fresh. The second item that I enjoyed the most out of the three would be the Bulgogi fries as it was also very flavorful. I was surprised that the meat was more of a Vietnamese style compared to actual Bulgogi, but nevertheless, it was still good. The crab rangoons were good as well. Overall, great place glad they have seating outdoors and plenty of it, right next to the gas station, which is convenient. The service was very good.

The Banh Mi Boys location on Airline is a very unassuming little shop in the same lot of a gas station. When it's busy, I'm sure they can quickly run out of parking space, but the gas station allows you to park in front of it as well. It's a casual eatery. You order up front and pay initially, then they will bring you the food once it's ready. They have outside seating, so you can enjoy the weather if it's nice out.I had a grilled chicken with noodles. The chicken was cooked perfectly, but I found everything to be kind of bland. The chicken was juicy and tender, but it could have been seasoned better, and the vermicelli rice noodles were not seasoned at all. The pickled vegetables were also bland. The meal came with a sauce, but it hardly added any flavor at all. I had to add hoisin sauce to the whole thing to give things some flavor. What I tried was okay. I've heard that their other items are better than their rice/noodle plates (I heard this after I ate, so too late for me haha). If you try Banh Mi Boys, I would try their other items! Even though the portions were generous, I probably wouldn't order their noodles or rice again.

New Orleans has a reputation for food. Even gas station food is amazing. The OG Banh Mi Boys is the shining example of this. Y'all. What are you waiting for if you haven't tried them?! Vietnamese and NOLA flavors blend so perfectly. My favorite is the bang bang shrimp poboy and the K Town fries. Also the staff is so chill and kind. I love coming in here. Not much seating inside. Maybe like 3 bar stools, but they have picnic tables and fans outside for your comfort.

So I thought I wanted a PoBoy... this is my second time in New Orleans and felt obligated to get the local sandwich staple. However this little HOLE IN THE WALL spot came highly recommended. When I walked in I was overwhelmed and the cashier helped me pick the perfect order. I decided to pivot and do a Banh Mi, and I got the Bugolgi Banh mi and it was incredible! Let's face it a banh mi and a PoBoy are essentially the same thing. Let's start with the spring rolls, paired with a nice peanut sauce. The sandwich itself was so flavorful and just the right amount of food. It's pretty much outside seating only if you want to eat there so just know that going in.

Taste: 5Creativity/Authenticity: 5Atmosphere: 4Service: 5Bang for your buck: 4This place is light when you're in a city known for its fried food! After spending 3 days here and eating nothing but fried this and fried that this place is a great change! Started with the shrimp spring rolls and ended with the chashu Banh mi and couldn't ask for a better sandwich! Bread was soft and flaky and the chashu was perfectly cooked. Shrimp rolls were good, different from the many spring rolls I've had. Overall great meal and anytime I'm in the area I will be back to try the many bahn mi they have! Thanks

Cute little shop connected to a gas station, you order inside and sit outside. They do bring your meal out to you. Food was very good, will definitely be back for the mint water reminded me of something I got in my childhood. Had a pork belly sandwich that was sooo good, my friend had a smash burger one and it also was very tasty. Staff was nice.

Welcome to a temple where the gods of flavor gather to bless your taste buds with something extraordinary. It's like that one friend who shows up at the party and immediately makes everyone wonder why they haven't been hanging out together all along. Crack Fries; is there some illegal substance hidden in there? Nope, it's just pure magic that's impossible to stop eating. Seriously, I think I blacked out after my first bite and woke up with an empty basket and a new addiction. It's like your favorite cozy sweater had a baby with a gourmet meal, and they decided to run off to Paris and live happily ever after. I had a spiritual moment thinking, "Am I even worthy of this?" The short ribs will more than meat your expectations, and holy shrimp...like biting into a little ocean of flavor; p sure this is what the Founding Fathers meant when they said "pursuit of happiness." Banh Mi Boys has completely redefined what it means to eat food.

Stopped in for the Bahn mi. Mine was very dry. Didn't have any jalapeño on it. Definitely lacking.

Came to New Orleans to visit a friend. Saw this place on Yelp and got excited cause I love Bahn Mi's. So she took me there right from the airport. The service was stellar, very friendly and answered all my questions as to what I should get. Ended up getting the shrimp and the spicy Asian. Both my friend and I loved the shrimp the most altho both were very very good. Plan to go back when I fly out later this week. There IS seating, but it's more of a pick up and go situation. Seating is picnic benches outside or stools inside. Go! You won't be disappointed.
