Delicious, they don't mind splitting salad and just want their guest to enjoy their meal! Outstanding lemon drop! And service!

First off the service here was very fun a entertaining. Geovanny waited on us with style in a way that was engaging and enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and everything we tried that was suggested by him was a hit. Great service is the action that sets the tone for every dining experience. G knew exactly how to welcome us in and connect. The Ambiance was nice and very chill. Needless to say, the atmosphere made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Now let's talk about the food:Bang Bang Salmon 10/10Crabmeat Queso with bread points 10/10(Try it with the bread they bring to the table you won't regret)For my Entree I ordered The Bone in Cowboy Ribye topped with Crabmeat The steak alone was cooked beautifully. I could have used a bit more seasoning but the crabmeat topping really set the steak off and I enjoyed it,My sides were the Potatoes Au Gratin And the Grilled Asparagus Also I had 2 Old Fashions that were a great choice All and all I rate the experience an 8 out of 10I recommend it and I will also be revisiting

Very dish we ordered was on point. The oyster was amazing, my turtle soup was fantastic, and everyone really enjoyed their entrees. The restaurant was packed the night we went to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. Our drinks still came very quickly and the food followed soon thereafter. The ambiance is classy and dimly lit with a lamp on each table. The wait staff is friendly and aiming to please. This is one of my favorite places because it is always consistent. I definitely highly recommend Austin's.

Wile in Metairie Louisiana (New Orleans Area), and being disappointed with food in the French Quarter, we found this restaurant by consulting Yelp! Boy what a find! It was a Saturday evening and I called for reservations, only to find out that no reservations were available, but we could come in and wait for a table or eat at the bar.ynwife and I decided to give it a try and take our chances. Wait times were one hour, but the bar seats turned over pretty quickly and we were able to have a seat and order. We had some cocktails which were absolutely tasty while we waited to order food. I had an old fashioned and my wife had the espresso martini. Both were satisfying. For an appetizer, we ordered the roasted artichoke. FINALLY! A dish with some spice in this area! It was roasted and seasoned with an olive oil and spicy seasoning. It tasted great. It was served with a mayonnaise type of dip. Fresh bread was served with butter. Oh, was that good.I ordered the New York steak with garlic mashed potatoes and my wife had the filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes. Both were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The garlic mashed potatoes were equally awesome. Both my wife and I are everything, which is rare because we usually get full and take left overs. This food was addicting and even though we were full, we kept eating until it was gone. We were ready to pay the bill, and the waitress offered dessert. Oh my God! We ordered the Oreo Bognet with salted caramel gelato! One order was enough for two people to share! I'm glad we ordered it! The staff was friendly and attentive, even though it was quite busy at the time. The restaurant has a modern vibe and seems kinda business casual. We had just come back from a swamp boat ride with alligators, and we're not dressed fancy at all. I apologized to the server, and was told that this is a casual place and out dress was just fine. (I did see women in dresses and men in slacks and collar shirts). Live piano music wa playing in the bar area with some great tunes from all eras. This place rivals out favorite Scottsdale restaurant. We will be back when we are in the area and we will bring friends here when they travel with us. Definitely do not miss this place. Prices are reasonable for the quality and caliber of food they serve. (I read some of the negative reviews AFTER we dined here. We did not experience any of the items of concern in the negative comments by other yelpers.). Photos are not allowed in this place, so I respected their rule.

This is our favorite place in Metairie to eat. The food is always consistently delicious, hot sizzling steaks, everything cooked to perfection. It's where we celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, take family when in town. The service is friendly and impeccable. We celebrated our 26th Anniversary last night there. The ambiance was relaxing and piano music so lovely. Alex our waiter was wonderful. I tried the French Onion 8 oz Filet per his recommendation and I was very pleased. Can't say enough great things about dining there last night.

The food was good but wasn't for me. I got the chicken parm and it's was fine nothing too special. i mean it was my fault for getting chicken from a steakhouse but the prices were outrageous. The service was good and fast and the restaurant was very fancy, hence the prices but it wasn't bad just not sure if I would choose to go again.

My husband and I went on a Wednesday for my birthday. We got the bayou crawfish spring rolls, ribeye cooked medium, creamed spinach, house salad and potatoes au gratin. The crawfish rolls were the best part, they were delicious and had us so excited for the rest of the meal. They were paired with a great sauce. We got the salad and I waited about 10-15 for pepper but nobody came so we ate it. It was okay, not much flavor from the ranch. The steak came out and was cooked perfect, lacked a little flavor and needed some salt. Other than that, it was good. The spinach was terrible and we didn't eat any of it. It was dry and flavorless. Same with the potatoes, dry and flavorless. Bread pudding was brought to the table and was over cooked in the microwave and hard on the sides due to this. Overall we were thankful for the appetizer and the cooking temperature of the steak, however at $100 for one steak and an appetizer it just wasn't worth it for us. Service was a little slow, table was never crumbed, pepper was never offered and we were asked about 4 times if we wanted wine. After we said no to the wine we didn't get as attentive service as the nearby tables which was odd. The restaurant was a little outdated but had nice flowers and candles on the table for romantic ambiance.

I went to Austin for the first time. I asked the waiter if they had any specials. He replied what you see if what you get . I ordered the Filet Austin. The best thing I can say is it wasn't over cooked. the steak was good. The grilled asparagus no flavor!!!! The creamy spinach no flavor but had a lot of cheese. My partner had the French onion Au jus which was a special of the night with a side of potatoes au gratin . the steak was good, once again the side no flavor. I Wont be going back.
