Best turkey neck in the hood. Love the meatballs and meatloaf. Good meals and plenty. The service is ok. Menu is in FB. Does not take into phone orders for pick-up.

Almost missed this place, and that would have been unfortunate for me. Annie Mae's is worth the drive from wherever you are!Menu is just a chalkboard with whatever they decide to cook that day. I ordered the special of fried shrimp, fries, salad, roll, and a slice of cake. Worth every penny/calorie. Really nice atmosphere, especially sitting outside over looking the Bayou. Drive over to Franklin and eat at this gem of a place!

I'm not really a fried soul food kinda opinion but it's really good! It's a beautiful spot on the bayou in a story book town and deserves to have a bar on the patio for boats to pull up at!!

It was great the best food and very friendly service. We ate there everyday we were in town for lunch.

Nestled along the bayou in Franklin, LA this spot provides scenery and great food. You can expect great food, with fast and friendly service. Dine inside or out while enjoying a lunch special or boiled crabs (seasonal). I had the shrimp stew with catfish. The stew was in a rich, tasty gravy with a large serving size of shrimp. This lunch plate was served up just like I like it. The plate included salad, roll a cake.

I'm in love with this place! I live here so you can imagine I know the best places. This is such a wonderful place for us to eat. Great portions of food and well worth the price. Best meatball stew I've ever had. No matter what we get we are never disappointed. We love to eat outside on the bayou veranda and sit for hours. Service is incredible and always smiling faces. Let's keep these lovely people in business!!!

Me and my two sisters were visiting in Franklin, LA and we were looking for some good Louisiana cooking, this restaurant was highly recommended by Mama Dee, a very nice and down-to-earth young lady we had the pleasure of meeting during our visit. When we arrived at the restaurant, the ambiance was NICE and the staff was VERY welcoming with that good Southern hospitality. THE FOOD OMG THE FISH, SHRIMP and THE FRESH SALAD was AMAZING. I would recommend anyone who's passing through Franklin, LA to stop at Ms. Annie Mae's it will be worth it so much. Miss Annie Mae I can't wait to come back and bring some friends along with my sisters, we may let you know when we're coming or drop by and surprise you!!!!! We were here for a wedding Thanksgiving weekend. We had been driving around for a while trying to find a good lunch spot but most were closed. We got to Annie Mae's and they were hosting a private event. I'm not sure who these people are but they didn't want us leaving hungry so they graciously fixed us 4 To-go boxes of what they were eating and gave them to us! This is what it's all about people. They didn't have to do this but because of their kind hearts we had the most amazing meal! The smoked chicken was phenomenal and the sides were just as great! We will go back during their regular hrs and will recommend their food to anyone asking. All this to sayWe walked away with more than a good meal

For the price of the food I expected more then a covered styrofoam container. Prices are not posted so you have to ask for prices. The food was cool---sitting area needed to be cleaned and table clothes changed. Ladies were happy to talk about their menu and how they change it daily.
