This place is a necessary staple when you need a quick grab in the neighborhood. Do not look for truly specialized options here. For New Orleans, they only carry the basic needs. Here, you can find local spices and local meats. You can also pick up a quick sandwich, but not the full variety of fried sandwiches. Need an ATM, this place is for you. Need the local hot sausage, this place has it. Need the local cold drink (soda/pop for non-New Orleanians), come to this place. If you need friendly staff that is willing to assist you, then come to this place. This place is truly a local taste of the culture which comprises New Orleans.
