This place is different. Efficiency is king. Like Mexico , you can buy a reusable bag or place your groceries in a spare box they have from stock. I really like it. When the Metairie store opens, it's going to be a big hit.

Aldi LaPlace location did not disappoint. This new store is clean as a whistle and is being kept fully stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful. Produce and meat selection is great. Prices are super. Don't forget to bring a refundable quarter to get your shopping cart. Also, groceries are not bagged. Bring your own bags or boxes for your items after they are checked out.Edited to add: There are many items which are normally hard to find in this small town. I found prosciutto, langostino tails, and lots of charcuterie items of meats and cheeses. In addition, there's a wide variety of gluten free options.

Great place! Never overcrowded or empty shelves. Best selection of USA-grown FRESH produce and fruits. Excellent quality of their Weekly Aldi's Finds at a surprisingly lower price.
